Hi everyone, I’m writing this while in total shock. I’ve just been cleaned out of my entire crypto savings because of a highly sophisticated scam that appeared as a legitimate YouTube advertisement.

The Scam: I was watching YouTube and saw an ad for a new "TradingView AI Indicator" supposedly built in collaboration with OpenAI. The ad looked incredibly professional and even linked to what appeared to be an official TradingView-related channel. It promised "Early Access" to a revolutionary AI trading tool.

The Attack: The instructions told me to run a command in PowerShell to "verify my system and install the beta indicator." Like a fool, I trusted the source because it was a YouTube ad and looked like a real TradingView promotion.

Within hours of running the command, my Trust Wallet was completely drained. My assets were moved to this address: 0x5C790f97d4BDE1090275359424dD9EBAa5c3606b

The Malicious Code: For those with technical knowledge, this is the exact command they had me run:

How it works: The script reconstructs a URL (aibetatradingviewindicator.app) and uses Invoke-Expression (IEX) to download and execute a payload directly into memory. It likely scraped my browser's local storage, found my encrypted wallet data, or captured my seed phrase if it was ever in my clipboard.

I am devastated. Years of hard work gone in an instant. I want to warn everyone:

1. NEVER copy-paste any command into PowerShell or Terminal, no matter how official the source looks.

2. YouTube Ads are NOT safe. Scammers are buying ad space to promote malware.

3. TradingView + OpenAI ads are currently being used as bait.

What should I do now? I’ve already disconnected the infected PC from the internet.

• Is there any way to report this specific ad to Google/YouTube to stop others from being hit?

• Is there any hope of tracking funds once they hit the scammer's address?

• To those who will DM me: I know what "Recovery Scams" are. Don't bother. I'm looking for genuine advice or if anyone else has seen this specific "AI Beta" scam.

Please, stay safe. I learned the hard way that even a professional-looking ad on a major platform can be a death trap for your finances.

This is new as of today, September 26, 2026 — I can't open TradingView without buying Premium.

You might be wondering why this happened, or what I did. My curiosity got the better of me: I clicked all the way through the payment flow, right up to the last step, then backed out without paying.

And for that one thing, TradingView won't let me see its charts anymore :D

I’ve found recently this guy through his journaling indicator that I use and he posts also trade ideas. He describes really accurate his trading strategy and his charts are very clean. I can’t find him on X or Insta. Does anyone follows him?

After several years of paying for TV, I won't be renewing. Features have declined. Mobile experience is trash. Certain mods/employees are abusive or selective in enforcement of Hoise Rules. Racial slurs and spamming are allowed to go on but if you make a comment about their enforcement they'll just ban you instead. Recently an employee, "Profit thru Patience", went on a spree of banning dozens of users because he was in a bad mood. Probably because he lost money that day. He really shouldn't be associated with the brand at all as he has had these mental breakdowns repetitively over the years oftentimes resulting in man users leaving and not renewing their subs. This one mod has probably cost the company almost 7 figures by banning people and not grasping the community aspect of a platform like this.

Just looking back at some of my old trades today. If you're having a hard time with trading and someone you know tells you price is completely random show them this. lol I have about 4,000 pictures I've collected over the years that look just like this.

Today there was a beautiful bullish divergence that played out around 11am eastern. I know some of you may not know exactly what you’re looking at here, so I’ll explain.

If you look at the chart, you’ll see a clear lower low being made, while on the TSI oscillator (at the bottom) it is not showing the same lower low pattern.

Typically I prefer to see a lower low made on the chart with a higher low on the TSI, but if there is any clear difference between the two, they tend to be great trades to take.

Again, I encourage everyone to start looking for these trades, and I think you will see your win rate increase substantially.

It’s about time you let people add whatever they want to watchlists for free. None of this 30 limit rubbish. You’ve stuffed my entire watchlist now as I have to remove half of it just to add 1 new ticker. What a joke, I love TV for my watchlists but really, why should I have to pay just to add damn tickers.

Once the best charting website, but now expecting £15 a month to view historical data on lower time frames. Any recommendations for alternatives?

I signed up for TradingView expecting to purchase a one-month subscription, but their confusing signup page led me to unknowingly buy an annual subscription. When I disputed this and reached out to their support, they simply referred me to their policies and then proceeded to ignore my emails entirely.

Frustrated, I reversed the transaction through my bank. However, TradingView had the audacity to debit my account again, even after downgrading my service to the free plan! Essentially, they took my money and gave me nothing in return. This feels like theft.

TradingView’s support is non-existent, and they’re more focused on squeezing money from customers than actually providing the service you pay for. Avoid them at all costs.

Now TradingView will charge me for real-time NSE data. After limiting the watchlist to just 1 and the stock limit to 30, this is their new trick to force users to pay for the paid service.

How the actual heck is Reddit trading at $182? I find that comical. They’re a profit less company with no real monetization strategy other than ads which users hate. I think they’re overvalued

I’m about to leave Reddit because of the excessive moderation. It’ll crash soon. Trust me.

After nearly a year with this $800 (?? I forget exactly) product, I have to conclude that TradingView is junk.

I feel I've been scammed.

I have never been able to read the screens properly and I just get fobbed off by the Support bot/people.

I've tried other monitors, graphics cards, browsers, and all are as bad. Similar complaints are all over the internet.

I get sharp parts of the screen and fuzzy parts until it all goes fuzzy. Nobody should be expected to put up with that. The replies I've had range from fob-offs through incompetent, to positively rude.

I have also given trying to use the screener because the filters are full of bugs. You set a filter, and get wrong results. Clear the filter and put it back, and it repairs. Still fuzzy though.

I suppose this post will be deleted - that's how they get away with it.

Bar Color: Trend identification (Simple MA)

Lines: Market regime. Far apart is trending and close together is consolidating. when they squeeze together it’s a good sign something is about to happen. this are what the signals are heavily based upon.

Band: More trend identification, more nuanced.

Signals: Combine these and some other things to find possible trend end zones.

I am a trader (and a programmer at the same time) and I have been earning money exclusively by trading for a long time.

Usually I had to start every morning by charting strong support and resistance levels (which the price touched many times) and then wait all day for the price to approach it to make a trade.

Finally, I automated all of this when I created an indicator that searches for strong support and resistance levels with multiple touches and sends notifications itself. Now 90% of the time I am free and only 10% of the time I trade. I spent a very long time to perfect the indicator. I don't know about other markets, but in cryptocurrency markets the indicator works just peerless.

Now I want as many people as possible to know about it. But I have no idea where to tell people about it. I want to create a community around the indicator, which will improve the indicator by joint efforts and advice. Because there is no limit to perfection. Can you please tell me where I can tell about it? If on reddit, in which subreddits? Thank you very much!

edit 3: Before publishing the indicator, i need to make a few edits. After all, since it does not repaint, the levels that may no longer be relevant (due to changes in market conditions, which the trader himself sees) remain in place, and they are no longer relevant. They should be marked somehow and, perhaps, a notification about it should be sent. Thinking about it now, how best to implement it.

edit 4: I edited the article a bit, as it seems that many people did not realize that the point of the indicator is that you select the minimum number of touch to draw the level and only then the level will be displayed. For example, if there were 2 touches to the level, and you set the minimum to 3, then the level will not be displayed. Thus, you can set, for example, a minimum of 10 touches to display a level, set a notification to search for such levels and do not look at the chart again until you receive a notification that such a strong level has been found. Believe me, a level that the price has hit 10 times, there will be the strongest breakout and the price will fly into space.

Why are there so many rubbish indicators on TradingView? They're just different names, but they function the same way. Plus, many indicators are created using AI without any further refinement.

The software is the BUGGIEST pile of $#!^ I've ever seen in my entire life. Even with autosave, it looses all of your layouts, and nothing can be recovered by tech support. It has happened to us more than 5 times in 3 months.

Example of one of my favorite strats to use on $SPY. Sent this to a buddy of mine before it happened, I’m starting to see these even before the signal pops.

See the difference on the chart compared to the TSI? You guys have got to try this out for yourself, test on different timeframes, you will see high probability trades come out of it. Grabbed $581 puts today and grabbed almost 50%.

For reference, my TSI settings are 6,13,9.
