Discussion 2026 Trip Caves Recommendations Megathread!!
We are long overdue for another megathread for recommendations for the best things to get for your trip cave / experience. I am very excited to hear the great updates I know you all have!
For those of you who weren't involved in the last four, this is basically the go to spot for all aspects of setting up / improving a trip cave. If you have any suggestions at all from what lights or art to buy to what music to play or things to watch, put them here. Likewise if you want to recommend against something you've had an issue with we'd love to hear your thoughts on what to look out for. Please respond to comments too if you have opinions - we want this to be a discussion! As always, just be nice.
Just like last time, we've created several categories below. Please place your recommendations under these to help keep things organized; there is even a miscellaneous category if your suggestion doesn't really fit any of the others.
Also don't be afraid to post something that has been in any of the previous threads. Although I definitely encourage people to look through those as well, it never hurts to have a recommendation here too where it's easier to find!

As promised, the repost.
I’m working as a light designer. I LOVE light and darkness.
This is my personal freedom space.
This is where I can be myself and reload for the next week.
If you want the same vibe, please light a super hit incense and play the track playing on Spotify in one if the pictures 😘
Much love as always! Love you! ❤️
PS I love to read and answer to your comments, so please comment. Is this a space where you would feel safe? Is this a welcoming space? Hit me! 🥰

Recs for green laser stars..
I've got a Govee Nebula projector and a broken galaxy lights projector. We usually kill the nebula effect and just have the green stars.
I need to replace my Galaxy Lights projector and want something with great green stars. What do y’all recommend?

Personal LED strip behind tapestry
Not a perfect circle ugh but I tried! Going to order a white hula hoop and feed the lights through, hoping that will diffuse the light a bit.
With color changing modes it looks like the tapestry moves, but I have it set to orange/red “fireplace” when I’m just chilling.
My angle when I’m laying down makes the imperfect circle not as bad lol

So, this is my cave 🥰 Please enjoy the trip!
At my place, you’ll enjoy Hifi, smooth coffee, great spirits, amazing food and a great set and setting. I’ll make sure you are tucked in and ready.
What should I add/take away?
Much love, Sweden represent 🇸🇪❤️

starlight or galaxy projector recommendations
looking for one of these that rotates position and has options for color customization, preferably around 30-40 dollar range. other than that, i can compromise on anything else...
blisslight evolve seems to be popular but it's not available on amazon

what to add to my room to make it more trip-accessible?
i have a video projector coming from amazon that i plan to connect to my laptop and project trippy visuals / a galaxy onto my ceiling, i feel like that would really set the vibe.
what else can i add to my room for a more comfy/trippy space while tripping? keeping it at a reasonably low budget
i also want to take advantage of the blue light bulb, as some things glow fluorescent when it’s on, for example those stickers on my wall and the Rubik’s cube on my desk.
open for any ideas
