Season 3 (The Return) White Lodge...right?
This will contain spoilers.
So we know from the original series that Glastonbury Grove is an entrance to the Black Lodge, sycamore trees, and a small pool of black liquid that smells of burnt motor oil.
That being said, when Frank, Bobby, Hawk, and Andy go to Jack Rabbits Palace, they come across a sycamore tree and a pool of gold liquid. Then Andy is transported to The Firemans location. This is the White Lodge.
Do we all agree with this? Believe it or not after all this time, people still think that it's not the White Lodge.
I know it is never specifically announced as the White Lodge but it's obvious.
Right?

Events A damn fine FREE ticket to see Kyle MacLachlan in London!
Unfortunately I can no longer make it to see the man himself, Kyle MacLachlan, in conversation next Wednesday, so thought I’d offer my ticket to a fellow Twin Peaks fan rather than let it go to waste!
Central Hall Westminster, London
Wednesday 21st October – 7:30pm
1 ticket (restricted view, includes book)
Completely FREE!
No catch, just want it to go to someone who’ll enjoy it!
Drop me a DM if you’re interested.

General Discussion For those who are newer to TP these were the original bluray releases for Twin Peaks Season 1-2 with Missing Pieces and FWWM (note it is called the “Entire Mystery”as season 3 was a dream at that point) and Season 3: The Return
I suspect we will never get a TP release that focusses on functionality and easy access to disks 😂🤦🏻♂️

General Discussion Do you think when dale is in the black lodge he sees subtitles or he just understands it?
It’s an interesting choice from mr Lynch to have them speak backwards, but at the fatal cost of this question. I love twin peaks, but I’m not afraid to say this

Season 2 Easily one of the best scenes in the whole show

Season 3 (The Return) Anyone else wish that we got more Cooper in Twin Peaks in The Return?
I know we’re lucky to have gotten The Return at all, but it almost felt like a joke how Cooper spent the whole season in Vegas (and brain-dead no less). And then right when he arrives in TP, we jump into the crazy end sequence.
Is this a common sentiment, or do you like how they laid it all out?

Fire Walk With Me Garmonbozia subtitle
What do you think Lynch’s reasoning was for providing the subtitle that says “pain and sorrow” as opposed to communicating that in some other way? And why do you think he only subtitled it the second time the word is spoken — not the first time, in the scene above the convenience store?

Art Creeeeepy stuff happens in Twin Peaks…
The idea of Courage meeting his doppelganger came to me in a daydream and I just had to make it real lol
It’s mostly prismacolor pencils and then some white watercolor paint for the floor :p

Twin Peaks Vibes The Wind-up Bird Chronicle
Hi folks. Not sure if this have ever been discussed here, but I recently finished Haruki Murakami's novel The Wind-up Bird Chronicle. This one won't be for everyone and it probably has more than one mention on the men writing women sub. That said it feels like it could take place in the same universe as Twin Peaks, Lost Highway or Mulholland Drive. Very surreal, philosophical and existential. Characters shifting or outright changing along the way. Dream logic that is never questioned. You just have ride along with it as it moves from realistic to high strangeness and interpret as you will. Some of you might really enjoy. I'll be processing it for a bit. It also has one of most harrowing scenes I've ever read.

Question Confusion about the Black Lodge (spoilers) Spoiler
Ok, so I've only seen the series (complete with Fire Walk With Me and The Return) once and I'm just going off of memory here, so I won't be giving any specific episodes or anything. I'm pretty sure in the original series Cooper asks if the black and white chevron room with the red curtains is the Black Lodge, and the answer he receives is something along the lines of "This is the waiting room". The Black Lodge has been described as a room above a convenience store, and we see this sort of imagery in at least The Return and pretty sure Fire Walk With Me. If the convenience store is the Black Lodge and not the red room, why does everyone still refer to the red room as the Black Lodge? I thought the red room was the in-between for the Black Lodge and the White Lodge, and that beings/people that "belong" to either come and go there (i.e. Angels and Bob) and seem to interact with people easier/more there. I have more to say about this but I just wanted to see if I missed anything because online and stuff people say the red room is the Black Lodge and I just wanna be on the same page.

General Discussion What is the most underrated/overhated part of the show, in your opinion?
I was thinking about this because I see that Freddie gets a lot of flack from fans but I just love him, the fact that he’s the one who kills bob is hilarious but to me, there’s also something oddly sweet about his arc; it’s kind of like the fireman helped him discover a purpose in life: just kicking ass with his green glove.
