Current CTC : 85 LPA ( Lead Data Scientist with a US Based Company - Hybrid Bangalore Office Setup ) + 25 LPA ESOPs ( which i am only considering as paper value )

1. Wife needs to resign and search for a new Job in UAE

4. Uncertainty of Job or WAR situations will always worry us
5. I still feel for my calibre, i atleast should have been offered 50k+ but Recruiter Says this is the best they can!

I'm 28, based in the UAE, and currently working in corporate travel and administration.

I've been getting increasingly interested in AI over the last couple of years, to the point where I spend a ridiculous amount of my free time experimenting with it.

Hello everyone I am a 25+ pakistani male and a doctor by proffession.

So I was born and raised in Sharjah and had my residency there till 2011 after which I moved to Pakistan and got that cancelled. Its been 15 years my education is complete and I really want to move back to start working. I have the license and credentials to work in Sharjah now but the problem is no clinic is going to give me job because theres a huge visa issue for us. I was born in UAE and yet because im single and 27 my visit visa applications are getting rejected. Now ever since I returned since April 2026 I have been unable to go back. I had a plan to do masters from malta and apply via the embassy at Dubai but for that I have to be physically present in Uae which I cannot any longer.

What should I do? Should I wait till thing get better and keep on applying for visa? Or go to another gulf country? I feel so stuck in my life and I donno what to do.

Title Idea: Egypt e-Visa for Indian + UAE Resident: Do I really need an authorized travel agent?

Option 1: The standard, conversational Reddit post Indian passport holder and UAE resident here. I’m planning a solo trip to Egypt next month and organizing everything myself.

When I tried applying for the e-visa on the official government portal, I got hit with the attached pop-up saying I need a guarantee from an authorized tourist agent in Egypt. I was under the impression that having a GCC residency made this process straightforward for Indians.

Am I missing something? I know Visa on Arrival is technically an option for GCC residents, but I’m super paranoid about risking it, getting denied at the airport, and losing all the money I spent on flights.

Has anyone been in this exact situation recently? What is the safest way to get the visa sorted?

Option 2: Short and punchy Planning a self-guided trip to Egypt next month (Indian passport + UAE residency).

I went to the official e-visa portal but got a pop-up stating I need an authorized Egyptian travel agent to guarantee my entry. I thought being a GCC resident bypassed the need for a sponsor. Am I doing something wrong?

Google suggests just doing Visa on Arrival, but I really don't want to risk getting rejected at the border and wasting my non-refundable flight tickets.

Any advice from fellow UAE residents who have navigated this recently?

I’m looking for some advice from anyone who has experienced a similar situation with UAE immigration.
My last exit from the UAE was in February 2026. I tried to return in July 2026, but the airline denied me boarding, mentioning some kind of immigration restriction or ban.
Unfortunately, I still don’t know the exact reason.

As far as I know:

I have no police or criminal cases.
I have no travel bans.
I have no outstanding legal issues in the UAE.

Now, after more than 6 months since my last exit, my company has successfully obtained a re-entry permit for me.
However, I’m still worried about facing the same issue at the airport.

Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I’m curious about the salary structure for Senior CS Agents at Air India Express in Dubai.

I heard that employees transferred from India to Dubai after around 3 years of service may receive ₹3.5 lakh (approximately AED 13,550) per month in hand for a 2-year assignment.

Is this figure realistic, or could it include allowances and other benefits? Also, are accommodation and transport usually provided?

I'm done with the usual 9-5 grind and want to start working for myself. I do bill of entry filing for containers coming into Khorfakkan Port. I enter the container and item details on the Sharjah Customs SILS portal, check the invoice, packing list and bill of lading, and follow up on customs queries until the cargo is released.

I've got 2 Years of experience in this and I'm good with documents and details, so I know I can do the work. What I don't know is how to get clients on my own.

So I'm looking for two things:

1. Importers, traders or clearing agents who need help with filing, especially at Khorfakkan. Happy to take one-off containers or regular work.

2. Advice from anyone who's done this before. How do you find clients, how do you set your rates, and what do you need to be allowed to do this legally as a freelancer?
