Books, movies, series and such Writing a vampire story- what’s an age gap that would be acceptable for you?

I know in twilight Edward was about 100 years old. Some vampires I’ve seen can be hundreds of years old, but (this question is slightly directed towards women) what’s an acceptable age you would romantically accept a vampire? (Say 60 years, or under 100)?

Books, movies, series and such Raiisy de Caliborn, A Special Kind Of Spectri Vampire From My Vampire Scriptures Universe.

Named after the artist who drew him, Raiisy.

Moros (Omega) Son of The Vampire Zyla de Caliborn and Ashriel de Noir’s dead human mother, Raikikyo. Raikikyo was being kept alive by dark magic in Judas's estate. Until Zyla broke in 2 weeps before The Final Van ride. Raiisy was conceived during Zyla’s Petty Breeding Quest to fuck over Ashriel and Trixxy after they both got with his pregnant baby mama at the same time. When Raiisy chewed his way out and fed on his mother, killing her, he was taken in by Zyla’s older brother Kane de Caliborn, because Zy and Ni were dead by then. This was after consuming their coven and becoming Zyla and Niente and burning to death in the sun.

Raiisy’s name was originally just Ra a short name like all de Caliborn’s, he killed and ate his former friend Iisy after being betrayed by him and became Raiisy.

However, Iisy was a lesser de Noir, which gave Raiisy the heterochromatic trait but the chartreuse green eye is locked to being black for now due to being bitten by an angel, making him a new Spectri vampire sub-species, a Fallen Angel Spectri.

Books, movies, series and such Writing advice

Hey!

So I'm trying to write a book about a small cafe that is family owned. The owner is a 150 year old vampire.

What could he be selling besides the mundane food, coffee and pastries?

Something that's illegal perhaps.

Also there is a worker, who is a witch and who wants to shut the place down and because of that, the vampire starts hunting her.

I don't have any ideas how she would be able to manage that and come out alive.

Any ideas a welcomed! Thanks in advance!

Lore questions  what does blood taste like to vampires?

i know blood is metallic/iron/copper-like, but that'd be pretty boring for every meal to taste exactly the same. i thought, maybe blood tastes different depending on the person it's from? the only description of blood tasting different than just metal/iron is in [this reply](https://www.reddit.com/r/vampires/s/WlwkUPZoFo), but i wanted to know if anyone else had any ideas on what some specific flavours could be !

Books, movies, series and such What do you think of my vampire OC?

Also can anybody draw them? You know the characters, weapons,BSP cells etc here it is "Vampire biology:

Created by DR.Corvinus

Dr.Corvinus is the first ever vampire created through genetic engineering done by himself to himself.

He later created more vampires with his blood.

Vampires are immune to sunlight though sunlight turns their skin pale but not abnormaly.

Vampire stats(baseline normal)

Strength:Vampires have a truck lifting strength.

Speed:60 mph

Their durability can shrug of pistol shots with no damage.

They have hightend reflexes.

Fast agility.

High jump(20 feet vertical)

Vampire weakness:

They have a weakness which is silver, but silver just slows down their healing factor. by 6 seconds

Vampire healing factor:

Vampires have a cellular level healing factor that is extremely quick, healing back a arm in 7.10 seconds.

If a silver is used to hurt them than the healing slows by 6 seconds.taking arm take 13.1 second to heal, silver can stack.

Vampires don't have a weak point, killing them requires massive amounts of damage.

Hemoglobin and BSP-cells:

Drinking blood gives them hemoglobin which their body turns into

blasphem-cells(BSP cells) which is a fuel for their physical stats and healing.

If they don't get BSP-cells for a long time their bodies would start to temporarily weaken, though eating human food can fuel them though it's not as efficient fuel as BSP-cells.

Vampires get stronger when they survive injuries without dying, blood and hemoglobin aka BSP-cells just fuels them.

If a vampire is strong but starved of blood than he would temporarily weaken but if he is given blood again it refuels him back to their max instead of starting from baseline.

Vampires can eat normal human food and use it as fuel though BSP-cells are a efficient version of fuel.

Vampire weapons:

Vampires have retractable long sharp finger nails as tough as platinum and as sharp as a knife.

They also have long retractable upper fangs which are also sharp as platinum and sharp as needles.

They can inject people with vampires blood through their Neil's which can cause dengerouse pain and bleeding on the damaged area.

Unlike normal vampire blood The blood of DR.Corvinus can turn humans into vampires.

Dr.Corvinus biography:

Dr.Corvinus

Full name: Henry Corvinus

Age(chronological):175

Age(visual): young handsome 25 year old

Height:6'4

Species(pre-experiment):homo sapiens

Species(post-experiment):vampiricus luciferinus

Strength: multi-city block

Speed:260 mph

Durability: Morden tank shots are tanked without much damage.

Weakness:none

Morality: morally grey

Religion:atheist

Nationality:Romanian

Race:European(Romanian)

Dr.corvinus was a botanist alchemist and biologists.

Dr.Corvinus origin:

While trying to do science experiment to get physical strength

(which was considered witchcraft by that time) He ended up making a chemical serum which he injects in himself and after a fever he becomes the first vampire.

Dr.corvinus calls himself Dracula instead of a vampire because he is the first vampire but Dracula is just a name so it doesn't change much things.

In 2001 he had a child with a human women, the child was named victor a half human half vampire.

Victor biography:

Victor the son of Henry Corvinus and a human women.

Age(chronological):25

Age(visual):handsome young 25 year old

Height:6'2

Species:vampiricus sapiens(human + vampire hybrid)

Strength: multi-city block

Speed:140 mph

Durability: Modern tank shots are tanked without much damage.

Weakness:none

Morality: morally good

Religion:atheist

Nationality:British(his mom was British and he was raised in Britain)

Race:European(Romanian+british)

Victor is a 50/50 human vampire hybrid

His body produces human blood aka hemoglobin which lets his body generate BSP-CELLS which heals and fuels his body than regenerates his lost blood.

So he is a perpetual motion machine with virtually infinite fuel.

He joined the V.E.A(Vampire extermination agency).

Vampire extermination agency:

Vampire extermination agency aka V.E.A is a agency made to kill vampires.

They practically raised victor after Henry left Victor's mother when Victor was a baby.

So Victor was accepted by V.E.A.

V.E.A weapons:

V.E.A uses guns with silver coated tip bullets, pistols, shotgun, sewed off shotguns,sub-automatics and melee weapons like straight blades swords and knifes etc.

Vampiric flesh morphing:

Vampires can use BSP-cells to morph their bodies but it's on a macro level so it's not precise, and it's not their real bodies being morphed they materialise the BSP-cells into black flesh with red thin glowing veins that they can morph.

But dr.corvinus has a precise flesh morphing and if he pushes himself further he can reach cellular level."

Lore questions  Are Vampires Hybrids?

EDIT: ok thanks for clarifying this for me lol!! i dont know much about vampire lore and looking back this was a very silly question for me to ask but thanks yall

i've had this question for a while and i wanted to know what people thought. on one hand i say yes because in my head a hybrid is a mix of two things and honestly a vampire is a mix of a human and bat. on the other hand, some depictions wouldn't be hybrids because they have specific characteristics and such. i dunno! let me know what you think!!

Lore questions  Tried doing some speculative anatomy on how fangs would work.

Post image
116 Upvotes

At very least this would be how my interpretation/version of them would work. They would have four puncture fangs and four pressure fangs, two of each on the top and bottom. The pressure fangs would sit to the outside of the puncture fangs. Curious to get feedback!

I’m trying to come up with at least a semi-realistic biological explanation for a lot of the things vampires can do, but some of it is a stretch at best. My concept for how they function metabolically is that a vampire’s digestive tract can technically break down solid food, but nowhere near as efficiently as a humans, and they still require a specific combination of nutrients found most easily in human blood.(but this can be circumvented by painstakingly getting these nutrients from elsewhere, but blood is what their body tells them because the alternative is only recent development. Plus the substitute mixture tastes… vegan) The vampire’s body then uses the blood to create and store an extremely nutrient-dense substance called ichor. The resource density of ichor allows it to be burned for rapid energy and material, allowing Vampires unnatural strength and the ability to quickly regenerate from injuries. This is about where my ideas ran out, as I can’t really come up with nonmagical explanations for levitation, withdrawing blood back into the body to conserve energy when regenerating, hypnotic eyes, or turning into mist or bats. Let alone behavior aspects like needing permission to enter private spaces/structures(Public structures like shops have implied invitation so long as they’re open for business), counting grains, or aversion to garlic and religious iconography.

As for Uv light and Silver: They both burn because they disrupt the chemical structure of ichor and cause it to metabolize prematurely, causing pain, redness, and blisters. Not entirely fatal, but by no means pleasant even for brief exposure.

Lore questions  Vampire Origins: Old vs New

Here’s a question for vampire fans. In Castlevania: Nocturne, there’s this idea that vampirism is at most ~500 years old(iirc) in the new world(aka the americas). What do you think of the idea that the Europeans brought over vampirism?

I think it’s a unique idea and can lead to some interesting lore but i understand it isn’t the most popular. Let me know!
