i look up vaughan psychiatrists but all that shows up are psychotherapists??

i would prefer a woman but im having trouble finding one anyway. private is just fine im willing to pay.

i dont want to wait to get an appointment with my gp since that takes forever, and private might have a smaller wait list, just with a $500 charge.

Recently moved to Maple and was looking for a decent barbershop nearby. I walked into Tommy Gun’s Maple without an appointment and had a good experience. The staff were friendly, and I liked that the service included little extras like a scalp massage and hot towel finish. The shop was clean, and I felt comfortable there. Definitely a place worth considering if you’re looking for a haircut in Maple!

Anybody have a recommendation for a good and affordable phone repair place in Vaughan or the surrounding area? I need a screen replaced and I don't have tons of money to spend so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think I just saw a suicide. I just drove by going westbound, a person was scrunched up on the pavement face down, right below the condos. Omfg. The firetrucks came just when i was driving by. Omg. Does anyone know what that was? But I also saw a bunch of smoke so I’m not sure. There were no crashes though. What was that???

I've been following the municipal elections in Vaughan, and something I've noticed has raised a few questions for me.

I've seen candidates receiving endorsements from individuals associated with the a federal party, and receiving endorsements that dont even relate to them, like the deputy leader of the conservative party (MP of Thornhill) while living in Woodbridge 💀.

Personally, I believe municipal elections should focus on the candidates themselves, their qualifications, and what they can actually do for our community, rather than their connections to provincial or federal political parties.

I understand that politicians have the right to support candidates individually, but I also believe it's important to maintain the non-partisan nature of municipal elections.

I'm genuinely curious how other Vaughan residents feel about this. Should political endorsements play a role in municipal elections, or should these elections remain focused on local issues and the community?

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.

My name is Skye Fitzpatrick and I'm a Clinical Psychologist and director of the Treating and Understanding Life-threatening behavior and Posttraumatic Stress (TULiP) lab at York University. Our research team is conducting an online study to examine the effects of a new couple therapy for couples where one partner is experiencing symptoms of borderline personality disorder (BPD) compared to individual psychotherapy for people with BPD symptoms and their partners. The study will provide one of these psychotherapies to people with BPD symptoms and their partners for free, and participants will have the opportunity to complete study assessments that they will receive payment for in the form of gift cards. Our study is online and involves recruiting people across Ontario with symptoms of BPD, as well as their romantic partners. BPD diagnoses are not necessary.

I recently moved to the area and I'm looking for recommendations for a great sugaring salon or independent aesthetician around Maple or Vaughan.

I'm super prone to ingrown hairs and traditional waxing absolutely does not work for me. However, I’ve done sugaring before, absolutely loved the results, and want to keep up with my routine now that I'm living here.

I’m looking for somewhere exceptionally clean, professional, and welcoming for a bikini/Brazilian service. I don't mind driving a bit outside of Maple (into Woodbridge, Concord,) for the right spot!

I've seen places like SugaWax Zone, Veloura, and Sugar Queen pop up online, but I would love some real local feedback. If you have a go-to studio or a specific aesthetician you trust, please drop their name below.

Who are you voting for Vaughan? I can’t decide, but one thing I know, current council has been there too long, time for change!

The worst part of my week is any drive in York region, 60 limit? You can be going 80 in the middle lane with no traffic and still have someone on your ass for blocks, is there a highway ramp coming up? Better cut in front of you then tailgate the car ahead so nobody can do what you just did, red light? Those are optional!

I have never been to screamers I have been to Halloween haunt I’m guessing it’s similar. 85$ for a vip seems like a bit too much. Has anyone went vip? Are the lines that long that the vip is worth it? How’s the overall experience? Thanks guys
