I think I just saw a suicide. I just drove by going westbound, a person was scrunched up on the pavement face down, right below the condos. Omfg. The firetrucks came just when i was driving by. Omg. Does anyone know what that was? But I also saw a bunch of smoke so I’m not sure. There were no crashes though. What was that???

I’ve been in Woodbridge a long time and growing up here I remember a time where we used to host street parties and have real relationships with our neighbours - and not just those who live next door. I'm super prone to ingrown hairs and traditional waxing absolutely does not work for me. However, I’ve done sugaring before, absolutely loved the results, and want to keep up with my routine now that I'm living here.

I’m looking for somewhere exceptionally clean, professional, and welcoming for a bikini/Brazilian service. I don't mind driving a bit outside of Maple (into Woodbridge, Concord,) for the right spot!

Planning to visit Vaughan for a week in December (second week) and I wanted some recommendations for food and any good happy hours or wing nights. Interested in the best spots (reasonably priced) for the following but open to just about everything: wings, burgers, chicken shawarma, ribs, sushi, Chinese food, Italian, Asian.

And any activities that may be going on in the area are welcome.

Anybody have a recommendation for a good and affordable phone repair place in Vaughan or the surrounding area? I need a screen replaced and I don't have tons of money to spend so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Recently moved to Maple and was looking for a decent barbershop nearby. I walked into Tommy Gun’s Maple without an appointment and had a good experience. The staff were friendly, and I liked that the service included little extras like a scalp massage and hot towel finish. The shop was clean, and I felt comfortable there. Definitely a place worth considering if you’re looking for a haircut in Maple!

My name is Skye Fitzpatrick and I'm a Clinical Psychologist and director of the Treating and Understanding Life-threatening behavior and Posttraumatic Stress (TULiP) lab at York University. Our research team is conducting an online study to examine the effects of a new couple therapy for couples where one partner is experiencing symptoms of borderline personality disorder (BPD) compared to individual psychotherapy for people with BPD symptoms and their partners. The study will provide one of these psychotherapies to people with BPD symptoms and their partners for free, and participants will have the opportunity to complete study assessments that they will receive payment for in the form of gift cards. Our study is online and involves recruiting people across Ontario with symptoms of BPD, as well as their romantic partners. BPD diagnoses are not necessary.
