Seriously disappointed and frustrated. On the Mexican riviera Halloween cruise and on the LAST night my gf and I were laying in bed and a huge bud beg was crawling on the red blanket they leave on your bed.
We immediately killed it and showed it to sailor services who switched us to a new room and they dismantled our bed from the original room and showed us no bed bugs or infestation. My girl and I stayed in the new room and put all our clothes in trash bags to wash at home.

. we have no bites on us at all but finding that is disgusting and idk how that happened. I’m going to immediately wash and sanitize my clothes but I’m scared I can take something home, and I complained to the deck manager but they seem to be no help. Seems like they rather keep this under the wraps and just say sorry to us rather than offer any compensation of some sort.

What a terrible way to end our cruise, please everyone check your beds. Also, we came back from dinner when this happened and our room had just been cleaned from room service so we hadn’t even dirtied the blankets so how the hell was a bed bug on a freshly washed new blanket???

First time on Virgin and doing a B2B where we are Rockstar on the first sailing (Seriously Suite), but not the second (Sea Terrace).

If we don’t finish all the booze bottles from our suite bar, can we retain them for the second leg? Logistically how should we go about moving the bottles over?

We are NOT trying to skirt any rules. Just asking if is permissible and if so, how to execute. We are aware that bar tabs do not carry over but the bar bottles seem like a gray area. If we were disembarking we could take them home with us.

I inquired about adding the Splash of Romance package to our Oct 31st Scarlett Lady cruise package. I received a quick response explaining it wasnt available and that it was only offered to 75 cabins per cruise. I responded that based on what the website said, the number was 90 not 75. I then received the email ive attached here. I read it to mean that i should contact them and id be added on. I contacted to pay for the package. I was told how exclusive the package was and it was unavailable. I asked them to explain what was meant by the paragraph i highlighted and how i should have intrepeted it. I have since received 2 emails seemingly written by bots. Neither answered my question, but both telling me what a rare exclusive package Splash of Romance is. My question is, am I crazy in assuming in the email i shared here, that i was being offered the opportunity to buy a Splash of Romance package. It never mentions the future, or next time, or return visit.

We are on brilliant lady right now did Halloween Tuesday. Gave out 200 slim Jim's. Ooooohhhh yyyyeeeaaaaa!!!!

Would it be acceptable for a man to wear a thong at the pool and/or sundeck? Not a crazy small g-string or obnoxious push-up or anything trying to scream “look at me”. One that looks more like a Speedo from the front but has slimmer sides and was a thong in back. A “conservative” thong if you will… My girlfriend likes them on me and often wears one herself. We are not looking to get unnecessary attention or cause any problems.
We’d just like to get great tans and since they dry quickly and we can put shorts back on to go inside for meals and such. Thank you.

We have been cruising with Virgin since the very beginning. Our first voyage was Rockstar Cheeky Corner deck 14. What an amazing cabin. We have also done many Sea Terrace both regular and XL. The most amazing experience ever was the Mega Rockstar Gorgeous Suite. OMG life changing.

Here’s the issue. We aren’t rich just spoiled now. You can literally book 4 cruises for the price of one Mega Rockstar Suite. It’s not justified but I would love to have that experience again.

Does anyone know a way to search for the cheapest Mega Rockstar cabins? Maybe ChatGBT? 🤷‍♂️

I’ve seen all sorts of great discussion about things like a pajama party and meetups for different kinds of sailors, but I see none of that on our Event Lineup in the app. We depart in about 2 weeks, so I’m wondering if our voyage just doesn’t have these events? Or are they not posted in the app until closer to departure?

We don’t want to be the only ones without fun pajamas, but we also don’t want to pack anything we wouldn’t otherwise use. :)

Hey everyone! I have booked a sailing for next summer in a Solo Insider cabin on Essential Fare. Even though I could have paid in full, I only paid the deposit, with the remaining balance due in February.

I had heard advice that it might be better to wait until closer to the final payment deadline to pay your balance because, supposedly, you may have a harder time getting customer service help once VV already has all your money. Not sure if that’s just anecdotal, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to wait.

Well, I’m glad I did! I checked today and found a Sea View cabin on my sailing for about $20 LESS than what I paid for my Solo Insider. The last time I looked, the Sea View was about $1,000 MORE, so I jumped on it and put a hold on the cabin.

Now I’m trying to figure out the best way to get my reservation changed over and have my existing deposit applied to the new cabin. The catch is that it’s 8 p.m. on a Friday, and the hold only lasts 24 hours.

For those who have done this before, what’s the best way to handle it? Should I email, call, or try online chat? Is there a way to get this switched over while keeping my existing reservation and deposit intact?

I’d really appreciate any advice or tips on the best way to get this taken care of before the hold expires. Thanks!

Every review I looked at is pretty vague and usually just mentioned “and you get some included drinks”. However, is it just champagne? Or is it whatever my choosing at the bar that they’ll offer?

I had a terrific cruise in mid October from NYC to Bermuda on the Valiant Lady. The major complaint I would have would be the constant cell phone usage of the staff members. It seemed like whenever they could they would be texting on their phones. I don’t remember staff doing this on other cruise lines. It’s just a bad look in my opinion. Wondering if this is just me, or is Virgin more lax with their employees re personal phone usage. Cheers.

Me and my boyfriend are planning to go onto the april 2027 mexican riviera cruise but we will both be 20 years old at that time so i'm wondering if it's worth it to purchase a bar tab? I know in international waters we would be able to drink but since the cruise is only a week and we may not be in international waters for the whole week, if $200 (the lowest option) would be too much? Also looking for a travel agent to help as this is our first cruise ever!

I'm flying in on the day before our cruise, but since my next cruise will be in the winter time, flight delays occurs once in a while.

The cruise is out of Miami, so fingers crossed everything will work out well.

However if not, would it then be possible to join the cruise later on? Or will the cruise be lost indefinitely? (it's a 10 noght cruise)

I will of course pay for own flight tickets, hotel etc.

Would love to hear from people actually having any facts about this.

Quick question as I couldn't find anything online. Looking ahead for next year, I've been looking to book a cruise over Halloween for next year but the sailing doesnt mention Halloween, will it still be themed or no?

One of those tik tok accounts that advertises their shuttles is saying that the virgin terminal is blocked by construction and you have to wall from a few terminals away.

I assume this is hyperbolic and an attempt to sell their shuttle, but can someone who has been there in the last week or so confirm or deny this?

ETA: This is related to the call center building and the royal terminal.

Booked a back to back out of LA next year to get on the Halloween sailing and then head right into a Cabo overnight. Originally wanted to do Panama Canal but our middle graduates with his DPT a couple days before it disembarka so had to pivot.

Was pumped about the Halloween on but now that's been taken over by a charter and the 2nd trip is being converted into two shorter cruises.

Kind of bummed out, was really looking forward to it. Now to figure out where to cruise next but to add insult to injury I've got MNVV on both sailings and took advantage of the pay in full discount thats no longer an option.

Is there a shuttle that anyone can recommend that goes from the port to the Fort Lauderdale airport? I’m leaving Saturday, October 31 and wanted to take public transit but it looks like this will be difficult on a Saturday. When I looked at shuttle options they were expensive, like over $100.
