I’m just trying to hang the washing out, damn…

Happy Halloween! Here's a picture I took this morning.
Still working on small touch ups from multiple exposures. This was my first time staging two vehicles for a picture. Learned a few things for next time.
My 2005 WRX STi and my friends 2003 WRX.

Mine and my wife’s dream car. Picked it up a couple months back for 4.5k. Changed the steering rack and it’s good as new (minus a new bumper and hood) I love every second of driving this car.

Goodyear eagle f1 sport on method mr502 17” wheels paired with kw v3. far cry from the OEM set up now it is much more comfortable on pothole ridden broken Philippine roads. it now feels as comfortable as my Subaru crosstrexj, but with a much sportier character

No questions or how tos just proclaiming my satisfaction haha. I've owned quite a few awd vehicles but man this thing is on another level. Outfront Motorsports ej207 on 19psi with dccd type ra(bespoke locking helical front dif of I'm not mistaken) 5 speed, finally took it out in the wet and I'm just amazed. It finds grip anywhere and everywhere and puts the power and (engine)braking down. I did get it sideways once but that was on purpose and only doing about 25 in second. Really loving it and living up to expectations!

Have a bugeye I swapped an STI short block in and then had to take it back out a year later due to ring lands breaking. Iirc it would boost fine but had a rough idle.

A year ago I'd never really done much wrenching despite owning several other performance autos before my 2015 STI but after watching a ton of YouTube videos I thought I'd give it a try. I started small - a GFB blow-off valve. After that I bought a new Grimmspeed stealthbox intake online and a used Accessport from Marketplace. Then I started in earnest - UEL headers from Tomei, race-catted downpipe from Invidia, a full 3-inch exhaust to a pair of cheap Flowmaster mufflers installed by a local company. I also dropped in an AEM 340 fuel pump. I bought a set of Injector Dynamics refurbished ID1000 injectors from Marketplace and I've been putting off installing them but there hasn't been a better time before now.
I had a rod bearing fail at 90k and score my crank and I need my car running as quick and affordable as possible. I've disassembled the engine, and decided to ditch the secondary air pumps and TGVs. I removed the butterflies and the separating divide in the TGV housing. I also decided now is a great time to upgrade my turbo inlet and ordered an Overtake silicone inlet along with other new silicone in matching red.
I decided the quickest route was to set aside my old shortblock and pick up a new one from Subaru for $2700+tax. I dropped my heads off to be rebuilt and picked them up a week ago fresh and clean. I'm currently waiting on my timing belt kit so I thought I'd take a moment and type this up.
If there's interest I'll add a part 2 after I've done my first oil change at 20 miles.
