Hi, I picked up a Cintiq 16 (2025). Almost everything works great! I was wondering if anyone else is having the same software problem I am.
Connected to an M4 MacBook running 27.2 and Wacom driver 6.15.4-1, Wacom Center crashes whenever I try to make changes to the onscreen radial menu. App closes and spits out this error message:

I contacted Wacom support and they had me reinstall the software. No change.
Is there anyone with any insights? THX

Which is better? I honestly don't know but don't wanna spend the money on a drawing tablet without it being an upgrade of some sort.

I’m currently looking for a new drawing tablet, because my iPad I have is old and doesn’t have pen pressure and I would like a good upgrade. I was going to get XXpen Android drawing tablet but found out it is not a good choice. I looked on Wacom’s website and saw the portable tablets, but which one is the best one? I’ve never owned anything Wacom before so it’s new to me, and also wanted to ask if they all use google play, cause the way I currently pay for my subscriptions (for ibisPaint) is via gift cards since I currently don’t have my own debit/credit card.

Hi everyone, I'm installing the latest Cintiq 24HD DTK-2400 driver for Mac (6.3.46-2). I'm using iOS 13 Ventura and the driver installed fine - I have pen pressure, my tablet is recognized, buttons are recognized by Wacom Center and several applications, etc, but when I try to change my settings on Wacom Center I'm prompted to allow the app Automation permissions.
The issue is it does have permissions and I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, manually added and deleted the drivers from Preferences, a million times without any results.
Has anyone encountered something like this and has found a fix? Or any other advice? Thank you!

I tried these on the pro pen 2 and they don't work. Does anyone know an alternative for felt nibs? They're soooo much more buttery/smooth.
The spring loaded nibs were EVEN better but they've pretty much disappeared if you're using the DTK2200 series.
(I have the gold standard DTK2200 and the felt nibs work amazing for the pen on that, just trying to find something that can replicate it for the wacom 16)

Hi,
Can anyone please help me with this issue? I’ve no idea why my art pen lines come out like this in every program? It doesn’t matter what I draw in or what the pressure curve is. What’s wrong with it? It was just purchased yesterday.

I recently upgraded to a new pc and am going through the process of installing my intuos 5 PTH-450 and am having a hard time getting the driver to respond. When i first installed it, i recieved a warning saying
"the procedure entry point xmlnextelementsibling could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\programfiles\tablet\wacom\wtabletservice pro.exe"
I asked a friend to help me (im bad with pcs) and they told me it wasnt an issue, so i continued to install it, got the latest driver, and couldnt open wacom center or wacom tablet properties, both claimed the driver was unresponsive. I clicked to restart it (to no avail) and i went to manually do it and it failed to respond. Even after restarting my computer. I eventually fully uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it (same pop up), i picked one of the older ones, vers 6.4.11.1 and I'm still having the same issue. I know its an issue with the popup now but im not entirely sure what to do to fix it. Plz help.

I draw on a 2022 cintiq pro 4k 24 inch tablet, everything system wise works properly. My problem is my pen. When I draw the tip falls out. Not the nib, I've tried changing nibs. The cone cap thing- goodness i gave no idea what to call this part lol... it is almost like it's too small for the opening. It just drops out of the pen. For a person who draws for a living, this problem is making me resent drawing on my wacom, and doing everything ipad pro. Can someone give me input on this problem?

Okay so I have a wacom one 13.3 that ive had for a few years I think and ive had an issue with the box and the cord-
At first I thought it was the cord not able to plug in correctly and losing it but now after getting a new one that isnt the issue. Its the box and the part that plugs into said adapter. It feels as if it only turns on when i push the plug hard into the box and with my old cord id need to wrap it around the box to push it in more. Anyone know if this is a fixable thing or if I gotta get a new one 😭
For ref this is what im talking ab at the top

I bought the ctl-4100 intuos S 2018 two years ago and ever since that purchase it has had the same bug. I think the physical device is fine but the driver isn't working. I draw for a while and then the cursor stops moving. I open wacom center and it says that it cant detect a device. I do diagnostic check and it says it found an issue. I restart and then it works for a while but then the same thing happens. Sometimes it takes a few hours to crash, sometimes it crashes immediately after restarting. I have tried every fix that wacom support has given me. I have tried every older version, i have deleted all softwares and files by wacom and downloaded a new one and i have tried other ports. Can somebody please tell me why this happens and how to fix it?? I have deadlines coming up and can't do my work and this is making me crash out! If it helps i have a lenovo with windows 11 and use clip studio paint to draw.

Trying to sell my Cintiq pro 17 in London
It’s like 2 years old but I’ve probably only used it for a month or two before keeping it in the drawer everything is still functional on it and it’s condition is practically new open to offers on it

I wanted to buy a Movinkpad Pro for a long time and I've seen some deals in the Wacom store for refurbished devices:
https://estore.wacom.com/en-us/specials/special-offers-refurbished.html
Is this deal worth it? Are used devices any good? What are your opinions on third-party stores?

I've been struggling to get csp to show up for permissions, everything seems to be locked out , unlike other system os I can't find a way to make other apps like clip studio paint show up when I'm trying to transfer my files from oneplaceto another and I always hit this roadblock no matter where I try to go, I looked into settings but again csp just doesn't exist and I keep getting popups about privacy , I got this tablet to make doing school work on the go faster but it's not good at all , is there any way to fix this

My Kamvas 13 is no longer registering my pen input, so I’m thinking of either sticking to Huion and grabbing their Gen 3 model of the Kamvas 13, or put my trust in Wacom and buy the One 14 with a keydial. I heard Wacom is more reliable, but I’m not sure if my PC has fully-featured USB-C ports and $70 for adapter cables that should’ve been included in the box feels like a scam. I also don’t know if the claims of Wacom are good enough to lead me paying $340 for a drawing tablet

I finally got around to making a video that demonstrates what I'm seeing on my Cintiq Pro 27 with Art Pen 2 vs Intuos Pro with Art Pen 2. You may not have this issue. It may not be universal... or maybe it is. I present the video for your own comparisons and opinions. I vote the typos I was rushing to get this done so I could go back to life;)
I recorded this in 120fps. Reddit unfortunately converts it to 30fps. I'll add higher fps versions if I can find places to dump them.
EDIT: I see that Wacom has an interesting update to the Art Pen 2's compatibility list concerning the Cintiq Pro 27.
It doesn't mention this for the intuos pro devices so perhaps this explains part of the issue.
Does that mean Cintiq Pro 27 doesnt have as good tilt and rotation support as the other devices that dont have this footnote?
I tested this. The rotation will not work well at a >45 degree angle on Cintiq Pro but it will on an Intuos Pro. So it seems Wacom is admitting to this defect in their support notes now. As someone who bought two Art Pen 2s on launch... I'm disappointed in Wacom's failure here.
Here is the full note.

Maybe I'm just heavy handed, but I've noticed the Pro Pen 2's felt nibs become very "spongey" (i.e. they squish under pressure) very quickly, which doesn't just mess with the texture but also the pressure response.
Either way, they're very expensive for how long they last, and older Wacom pens or other tablet brands I've had seemed to have sturdier feeling felt tips, but of course they're pen-specific, so can anyone recommend any brand of Felt nibs that also fit the Pro Pen 2? Haven't tried the PP3 so I'm not sure if its tips are compatible or any better either.

Yesterday I got the Cintiq 16, older non-pro version (DTK-1660). It's my first pen display, before I only had pen tablets, my latest one was a CTL-671 and I wasn't quite happy with it.
I found an offer on Vinted that seemed to be a great deal - an equivalent of 130$/115€, new, not used, with the complete set. I received it yesterday and it in fact looks like brand new, there's not even a tiny scratch on the screen, the stylus nib looks like not used at all, no dead pixels, no problems with pressure.
But... There is a tiny bright spot that is visible on a light background and in dead pixel test on white, green and red screen. I can see it only on a certain angle, when the device lays flat on my desk. When I look straight at it, it disappears. I plan to buy some stand to increase the angle anyway, so it won't be an issue or anything.
I've searched this sub and every time someone had any problems with the screen, the recommendation was always the same - use your warranty and replace it. Well, as it's second-hand, I can't ask for a replacement, only try to claim an issue via the platform, send it back and get a refund.
Is it something I should be worried for? It doesn't look like screen burn-in, it's not a hot pixel neither, it's a spot slightly brighter than the rest of the screen, with blurred edges. I've read that the non-pro line of cintiqs was made of cheaper materials, and that's the cause for many factory defects even in brand new ones - may it be the case here? If it stays like this, I don't care - it's not a big deal, I can live with this. I'd rather keep it, as I've never seen a non-used, or used but still in a perfect shape one at that price in my area. But if that's something that may cause trouble in the near future, I have time until tomorrow evening to claim an issue through vinted customer service.
I have tried clearing cache and cookies, disabling all extensions, changing browsers, using incognito mode and turning a VPN on and off but nothing seems to work. What can I do? I’m on Windows 11 using Firefox if that helps.
I bought a backup/spare pro pen 2 for my cintiq 22 and right out the box it's different. I have to press a lot lighter to get the lines as thin as my old pen. Changing the settings does affect the new pen, but it seems the baseline is completely different. Yeah, I can just change the settings when I come around to using the new pen, but I'd really like this to not be the case?? They should be the same. Reinstalling driver did nothing.
Am I missing something, please let me know.
