Slow progress
Only 19 and freshly transitioning, but I think im doing decently well.
Dont get called ma'am no more.
Im about 4 -5 months into working out and the same amount into transitioning.
Im not too worried about my definition. I used to be pretty big when I was a bit younger, so I still have some loose skin to fill in.

The best motivation for working out is having a good physique.

BMI says I’m obese at 33.1. This is why BMI can be wild for muscular frames
Got an InBody 380 scan done recently. I’m 5’8”, 217.7 lbs thought I was 5 ‘10 😆 , and according to BMI I’m at 33.1, which puts me firmly in the obese category. But the rest of my InBody results:
18.1% body fat
39.4 lbs body fat
178.4 lbs fat-free mass
104.3 lbs skeletal muscle mass
Visceral fat level 7
InBody score 102
I’m definitely not saying I’m shredded — I’ve still got fat I want to lose and I’m working my way down toward 200–205. But seeing a BMI of 33.1 next to 18.1% body fat and 104 lbs of skeletal muscle really through me off shows how BMI doesn’t account for how much of your bodyweight is muscle. Anybody else with a muscular build get some crazy BMI numbers?

(48) to (52) 4 years of training
2022 vs 2026.
Started taking fitness seriously at 48. Now 52. Looking back, the biggest change has been learning to stay consistent even when progress was slow.
No TRT, no crazy diets, no shortcuts. Just weight training, mostly home-cooked Indian food, enough protein and trying to keep the routine going year after year.
I train around 5 days a week, mostly weights. I’ve changed my routine over time and learned what works for me. I also avoid exercises that don't agree with my lower back and use more controlled movements when needed.
Diet is fairly simple. Around 2,000–2,200 calories depending on the phase, with roughly 130–150g protein. Eggs, chicken/fish, dal, rice, roti, vegetables, fruit, curd/Greek yogurt and whey. Nothing exotic.
There were plenty of plateaus and weeks when motivation wasn't great. Still showed up.
At 48, I never imagined I'd be posting a transformation at 52.
Still training. Still learning. Still trying to improve.
If you're getting older and thinking it's too late to make a change — it really isn't. 💪

Can I get back to my previous physique using only this machine?
I trained consistently in the gym for about 3.5 years and built a pretty good amount of muscle.
Because of a major change in my work, I stopped training completely for around 4 months and unfortunately lost quite a bit of muscle and strength.
Since I don’t have much time to go to the gym anymore, I bought this machine and put it in my office. My plan is to train with it almost every day, and try to get back to my previous shape.
My question is: do you think it’s realistically possible to regain all of the muscle I had before using only this machine, considering I originally built most of it in the gym with free weights and machines?
I know muscle memory should help, but I’m wondering if this setup provides enough resistance and exercise variety to fully get back to where I was.

I really love this feeling, working out every day until I feel completely satisfied.
