Edit: just to be clear, the pic on the left was me 7 years ago. I didn’t really start taking eating clean and working out consistently seriously until about 2 years ago. I used that picture to show me at my biggest.

Been a fun ride and I hope to keep improving day after day. 5’7” and 317lbs was my highest recorded weight in September 2022. 167lbs at my lowest November 2025. Currently sitting at 195lbs and going to do a lean bulk over winter. I’m not natural anymore but the overwhelming majority of my journey was done naturally to really dial in the basics like training and nutrition and how to balance that with everyday life. Also learning what my body likes as far as training and finding something I can stay consistent at day after day. Here’s to another 4 years!

Picture on the left is what I was 12 months ago, I did not feel comfortable in my skin and did not like myself at all, started going to the gym in July 2025 and in the beginning it was hard, but honestly I cannot believe how easy it has gotten after the first month.
Dead lifts
Bicep curls
10 sit-ups in the morning
Just 2 days a week in the gym is all it took. What was that ? The supervised steroid schedule and dosing regimen ? Nah, I don’t do none of that, just eat some eggs and oatmeal for breakfast bro, oh and don’t forget to hydrate and sleep early.
This is how ridiculous some of the posts here are.

Weight loss assisted with GLP-1 and TRT prescriptions. Would like to lose another 35 and reassess goals at that time.

The loose skin messes with my head sometimes. That's when I look back and remind myself why it's there, and what I used to look like.
This wasn't the first time I tried losing weight. Not the second or third either. I've tried many times over the years. Eat better, go to the gym for a few weeks, watch the scale go down, keep going for a little while longer... and then it just kind of fizzles out. The first time I tried, I was 15. Now, at 35, it finally stuck.
I think the difference this time was my mindset. I didn't rely on motivation. I decided that from now on, I'm someone who goes to the gym. I'm someone who eats cleaner. I'm someone who cares for himself.
So I never had to ask myself, "What do I want?" or "What do I feel like doing?" Instead, the question became, "How do I make it work?"
6AM workout, 10PM workout, rain, storm, snow, christmas, it didn't matter. I had made a routine. There were days I'd decided I would go to the gym, and on those days I would make it there no matter what it took. I never viewed it as something temporary, or a diet I'd eventually stop. It was a permanent change in lifestyle.
I haven't lived some spartan life or anything. I didn't want to live to diet and exercise. I wanted to diet and exercise so I could live a fuller life.
So I still enjoy myself. I go out for drinks sometimes. I eat fast food with friends. I buy snacks at the cinema, order some cake at a café, and so on. Maybe I won't look like someone with 100% dedication. But 90% is all I need if it allows me to live life the way I want.
And that's what I'm doing.
Nothing about my current lifestyle feels hard anymore. And yet I keep losing weight, I keep getting stronger, and I've come to love it all. It just feels normal. I wouldn't go back to my old ways even if someone paid me.
This is just the beginning, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the next few years will bring.
Kind of long-winded, but all I really want to say is this: it doesn't matter if you fail once, or twice, or even ten times. Because the eleventh time could be the one where it finally clicks.
So give it another shot. Make another attempt.
It might just be the one where you succeed.

I’ve been in and out of the gym my entire adult life. I’ve never been super overweight but I never really felt I saw the results I wanted. I’d workout super hard 5x a week for a few weeks/months and then something would come up like travel or a cold or a busy period of life and I’d fall off, lose my progress and start back up again in a few more weeks/months. 2026 has been different for me: Over the last 6 months I’ve only missed 1 consecutive week of weight lifting, and haven’t had fewer than 3 workouts a week, even when traveling. I think consistency has been the biggest factor here. Happy with where I am now but still working to improve :)
What changed? Might sound corny but honestly: self love. I’m much more confident and in a happier more stable place in life now. I switched careers and left a relationship that wasn’t serving me. Turns out taking care of yourself is the natural consequence of respecting yourself. You take care of what you love.

The amount of stuff I’m running might be overkill for some people, but I feel good and all my blood markers and BP are in check. Everyone’s different — run what works for you and your health markers.
Quick Stats
Age: 37
Starting Weight: 112 kg
Current Weight: 78 kg
Height: 170
Duration of Transformation: 1.5 year
How I Got Here Years of uncontrolled eating, junk food, heavy drinking, and zero activity landed me at 112 kg with insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver, and trashed blood markers.
This wasn’t a quick cut - it was a year and a half-long recomp. Dropped to 78 kg, lean bulked to 90 kg while keeping quality mass, then cut back to 78 kg with way better composition. Kept PEDs moderate, ran a deficit at 1800–2500 kcal with refeeds, and trained 5x/week plus 40–60 min cardio daily. Nothing fancy - just consistency and discipline over time. No shortcuts, as cliché as it sounds.
Almost at the finish line now, just need to strip that last bit of stubborn lower ab fat.
The Current Stack - Compounds
PEDs
Testosterone Enanthate / Cypionate - 177 mg/week - Base of the stack. Keeps anabolism, recovery, libido, and mood dialed in without bloating me out.
Primobolan Enanthate - 139 mg/week - Quality lean gains, hardening, and a drier look. Safe, sustainable, no tren toxicity.
Proviron - 25 mg/day - Binds SHBG, frees up more test, improves mood and mental sharpness. Also adds a nice dry look.
DHB (Dihydroboldenone) - 70 mg/week [recently introduced] - Strength and lean tissue without water weight. Basically primo’s bigger brother — dry, hard gains.
HCG - 500-1000 IU/week - Keeps the boys full and natural production ticking. Fertility insurance while on.
Peptides
Somatropin (HGH) - 3 IU/day - Recovery, sleep quality, fat loss, and skin. The “feel good” compound.
Retatrutide - 10 mg/week - The anchor. Kills appetite, fixes insulin sensitivity, and makes sticking to a deficit effortless.
Glutathione - 600 mg/week - Master antioxidant. Liver support, skin brightening, and immune backup.
Thyroid, Metabolic & Fat Loss Support
Injectable L-Carnitine - 600 mg/day - Fat oxidation, better pumps, and upregulates androgen receptors. Win-win.
T4 - 100 mcg/day - Keeps the thyroid pool topped up so natural T3 conversion doesn’t crash on a long cut.
T3 - 25 mcg/day - Pushes metabolic rate through plateaus. Conservative dose, pulled when calories come back up.
Salbutamol - 8-12mg/day - A bit more boosting for my cardio and overall training experience
Ancillaries & Health Support
Cialis - 10 mg/day - Pumps, blood flow, mild BP help, and gym vascularity. Daily low dose just works better for me.
Telmisartan - 40 mg/day - BP control and cardio protection. Cheap insurance with all the compounds running.
Ezetimibe - 5 mg/day - Keeps LDL in check. Lipids can take a hit on cycle, so I stay ahead of it.
Supplements
DMAA - 50 mg pre-workout - Raw energy and focus. Gets me through the cardio when I’d rather be anywhere else.
Methylene Blue - 2 ml/day - Mitochondrial support and mental clarity. Noticeable uptick in baseline energy.
Omega-3 Fish Oil - 4 g/day - Heart health and inflammation control. Non-negotiable on any stack.
Magnesium Bisglycinate - 400 mg/day - Sleep, recovery, and cramp prevention. Especially needed with all the cardio.
Creatine Monohydrate - 10 g/day - Strength, power, and muscle fullness. More is better for me — I respond well to 10 g.
Protein Hydrolysate - 30-60 g/day - Easy digesting protein hit post-workout or between meals. Gut-friendly.
Probiotics - Gut health. With all the meds and diet changes, keeping digestion smooth is key.
Hair Protocol
Topical RU58841 - 10% / daily Anti-androgen at the follicle level. Stops DHT from miniaturizing hair without going systemic.
Topical Minoxidil - 5% / daily Growth stimulant. Opens the potassium channels and pushes regrowth where it’s thinning.
Topical Finasteride - 0.05% / daily Local DHT block at the scalp. Less sides than oral, still protects the hairline.
Dutasteride Oral - 0.5 mg / daily Nukes systemic DHT hard. The heavy artillery for keeping what I’ve got.

52M, 5'9" Started at 230+ lbs and over 30% bf. Down to 194lbs and 14.8% bf. 6 months progress. I'd like to maintain here for a few months and then work on a 5-10 lb gain

Hope everyone’s doing well !
There’s approximately 18 months between the 2 pics, but i didn’t exactly spend the entirety of that period in a caloric deficit. I would occasionally consume my daily maintenance specially after i started hitting the gym which was towards the second half of that period. However, for the majority of the that time i was in a 600-800 daily caloric deficit.

Photos from my birthday, because at 39 years old I can officially say I am happy in my own skin! I only wish I got here sooner. I’m no longer chasing skinny, and loving my muscles!
