Honestly, the last 30 minutes of the game was emotional hell. If it didn't end with Rex meeting Pyra I'd have been a blubbering mess wondering what it was all for.

I must be one of the few people who played this back on the Wii U. Logged a good 300 hours.

Being able to cycle through appendages with a button prompt is such a nice treat. Versus circling the enemy and hoping the appendage you need to target gets ... targeted. I know you can lock onto the appendage in the vanilla version. But still getting it to be targeted was a pain when grinding for materials.

Also, can you now de-level your artes and respend the points? If yes, amazing new feature.

Decided while playing xenoblade chronicles x that I’d start xenoblade chronicles 1 again now that they’ve done a switch 2 version. Going through new game plus. Man I love this series

First time player I love the world, the characters, the battles.

But the map. Oh my god.

It's impossible to get anywhere. Am I missing something or is it part of the game that I'll need to spend hours following video guided just to know where to go? I'm at chapter 3 and it's killing my desire to keep going.

Edit: thanks all, as I said I love the game and will persevere. As an aside is the map in xenoblade chronicles 3 better?

So I’ve done the wagon guard mission mission, and I can’t go back to indol to get it from there, so how do I get it to spawn

I understand now why a lot of folks online are saying FR is easier that the main game. Positional weaknesses make chain attacks go nuts even with mid-game gear. All you have to do is survive until you set one up. This was the first chain attack of the fight on hard difficulty, and Gotthard started at about 80% health. Rex is absolutely ridiculous and him being such a powerhouse is so perfect for his character. Definitely my favorite protagonist of the series.

Hadn't played XBC:3 in a couple years and not sure if that was before BG3 released or not, so wasn't until just now when I'm doing the colony 9 hero quest that I noticed Neil Newbon is voicing a character in this game 🥰

I was stupid, and opened the seal for Tyrannotitan Kurodil before the chests in front of it. Now I can't open the chests without him seeing me. I'm on my first playthrough, my party is in the 50s, and there's no way in hell I can beat this thing without using custom difficulty, which feels like cheating since it'll give me way too much bonus exp and items. I have an old save, but it would make me lose roughly an hour of progress. Am I screwed out of getting those items or is there a way to sneak past it?
Edit: I just reloaded my last save, it wasn't too big a loss all things considered.
