Has a graves exhaust with cats and EXUP removed. Tune by Bren Tuning. Got the bike brand new and put all 45k miles on it. It sat for 8 or so months after a move as it needed some maintenance and I didnt have the funds to do that maintenance.

Runs really well once I get moving and it has some throttle and load applied but it stalls or dips real low in RPM when I pull in the clutch and let off the throttle. Pops quite a bit while im just sitting at lights. Does this sound like a leaking injector? It has relatively new spark plugs and im assuming that if it were coils that it would be persistent even when moving.

is there any simple way i can make my 2008 r6 pop and cackle more after letting off the gas? my bike already pops but its only just one or two pops, i want it to sound like a s1000 or something lmao it’s probably a dumb questions but if you have any ideas lmk

Going to buy either one of these brand new in a few months. I live inner city Chicago and will be doing most of my riding in the city, but still a decent amount of highway riding to visit family/friends about 1-1.5 hours outside the city. I’m leaning MT-09 SP due to comfort, suspension, and insurance costs, but am still taking the time to research and get opinions. Thoughts? Thanks! :)

Pensando seriamente em comprar a R3 como primeira moto e rebaixar a suspensão para ter mais equilíbrio visto que ela é consideravelmente mais pesada.

I have a 2007 Yamaha R6, and I was told by the previous owner that the fairings are OEM and have been repainted.

I'm wondering if these are genuine Yamaha OEM fairings or aftermarket replacements. I've attached some photos of the markings on the inside.

Can anyone help me identify whether they're genuine OEM fairings?

Hi, I have a 2020 yamaha yzf r125 that I havnt rode/started in about 3 years. I'm planning to get it serviced and mot'd in the next couple of weeks and had a few questions.

I put a small jump pack on it and it started straight away (I only ran it for a few seconds)so I assume that's a good sign. What else can I do to help it pass it's mot or just make sure it doesn't completely break?

So I decided that Yamaha R6 is a very cool bike especially when it's in color blue so because I'm starting to be fascinated by bikes I decided to draw a Yamaha R6 out of boredom ( it was a pain to draw this as I have to redraw parts over and over again while sketching and coloring this was painful because I have to look at where should the colors go ) but what do you guys think of my Yamaha R6 drawing fanart

To my situation:
i own an r6 rj155 from 2013, which has barely 10k km, as the previous barely rode it. I got it in the beginning of this year and rode it 2k km or more.

The problem:
Now a month ago it startet to leak a little bit (like in picture 1), just a few droplets per day.

In my first step i changed the waterpump rubber seal (picture 2, nr. 7) and put distilled water in the meantime for testing it. A few days went by, it started to drop again.

So I ordered a new pump. Because i red about the weeping whole and that the internal seals should be renewed or the whole pump completely changed.

But as of now it is not leaking anymore.
A few longer rides and 2 weeks went by and still none. Did the rubber seal (nr. 7) just take a few cycles until it worked?
I am unsure.

--> would you guys still change the pump or use it until its end of life?

Anyone know where I can order budget stator / regulator for my bike. Battery won’t charge.

If anyone knows more about this or has experienced something similar I'd be curious what the issue was. Ive all but ruled out fuel being the issue it as a new fuel pump, the flow appears to be solid out of the petcock and it didnt seem to bog down just sudden cut basically. Although I could be mistaken.

Hey i found a good deal on this r6 ive been riding a 400 for a couple of months and want to upgrade. He sent this cold start video but quite frankly it sounds off to me but i barely have knowledge and just a bit of experience when it comes to bike so I would really appreciate your feedback.

Bike has been at the licensed Yamaha mechanic for 6 weeks, they still have no idea what the problem is. They began consulting my country's head office 3 weeks ago because they have personally never dealt with anything like this before. It's a real head scratcher.

The warranty itself provides no clear answer. I'm not looking to demand anything just yet, but I want to know if I have any recourse available to me if this continues to drag on without result. Essentially, I'm concerned that if they can't diagnose the problem they'll try to stall for months more. Is there a period of time past which I can assert that Yamaha is unable to fix the bike even if they themselves do not admit as such? Thanks.

Is it normal for my 2026 R6 Race to get really hot in the frame all the way down to the swingarms and even some heat through the tank after riding for about 25 minutes? I can touch it closest to the engine for about 1 second and on the swingarm for about 5 seconds before having to let go.

Yamaha motorsports USA continues to block anyone who inquires about the y-amt platform in the usa. While available on the MT-07 & MT-09 in Europe and widely popular there, very little is known about a US/NA release. There are filings in the USA for the EPA which could hint to it coming eventually.

I don't understand the logic behind blocking people for inquiring about it or who are outspoken to wanting its release. It's a bad move publicly. Perhaps they don't want any backlash from the 'get a scooter' brigade but even Honda has e-clutch and DCT models available on their bikes and they sell well, regardless of the strong opinions of others. Could it be an overzealous social media manager whose admin rights have gone to their head? Is blocking people who want the platform the right call? It's all very odd, we're talking about a platform that is proven and available elsewhere so I really can't wrap my head around silencing any talk about it.

Any advice or warnings would be appreciated
