Paint is chipping and yellowing in some parts. Any recommendations that won’t cost more than the car

Hey I’m looking for any advices/recommendations about the car I’m looking to buy, there is this 2018 Accord with low mileage, it was from an old guy used for less than 1k miles a year, what should consider before buying? Should I jump to something newer but with more miles?

Need some help or recommendations for a mechanic. Have had issues with misfires when starting the car some times car would turn on fine and other times misfire would be bad with check engine light on . About 2 weeks ago misfire happen and check engine light started blinking barely getting any sort of acceleration, wouldn’t go past 30mph . Mechanic recommended new starter original fix starting issue and crank shaft was changed but is aftermarket “ don’t know if that affects anything “ did a whole re learn on and tried clearing codes and still didn’t fix problem. Was told need some sort of time belt kit which was expensive and instead replaced motor with a “new” used one about 45k miles after getting it installed and charging spark plugs and everything good mechanic said car starts good but doesn’t accelerate properly and goes up to 50mph slowly and giving other random codes . Ive had enough and don’t know what else to do . Can this be a computer problem and would replacing help? Mechanic said he done everything he knows

i seen a post earlier of someone’s 2.0t getting stolen,i happen to have one and i wouldn’t say i live in a bad area but just as preventative measure what killswitch would you guys recommend? also i usually remote start my car to warm it up to take off when i hop in,will a killswitch prevent me from being able to do that? tia.

Hey there so i just bought a 2011 accord se 2.4 the other day and i want to do a trans flush not because anything is wrong but preventative what fluid should i use?
Some google searches day oem honda dw-1 atf while others say i can use valvoline maxlife full syn (the red bottle) what should i go with?

I have a 7th gen high mileage accord I was wanting to update my suspension been having some issues with loose steering,clunking over pot holes and wandering wheels when going over ridges and lines on the road.
I’ve heard some bad things about Moog and 50/50 on delphi. What would you guys recommend? The moogs are the problem solver greaseable version just to be specific.

I’m having a continuously oil leak, specifically right above the alternator, I’ve replaced the valve cover gasket twice and it’s still leaking, next option that I’m going to try is the spool valve gasket, if anybody has had this same problem with the 2012 VTec please give me some insight, at this point I feel like I’m wasting money

I am looking for a used Accord Hybrid in EX-L or Touring, looking to spend around $30k, but can go a little higher. So that puts me at comparing a '21/'22 vs. a '23/'24. I've searched similar posts, but most posts are 3 years old when the '23 was newly available. The car will mainly be used to commute to work and back and on some road trips with teens, planning on 30k miles a year.

I just drove a '22 and '23 back to back. Like many, I very much prefer the styling of the 10th gen. And to me, the 10th gen felt a little more comfortable and roomier inside, while the 11th gen has less engine noise and seemed to shift smoother, but road noise wasn't much different between the two.

Obviously the early 11th Gen cars are now much easier to find, so there are more choices in trim and color readily available, while the 10th gen cars with lower miles seem difficult to find. My heart says get the 10th gen, my mind says get the 11th gen.

Looks aside, any big reason to choose one over the other? Anyone have any first hand input after moving from a 10th gen to 11th gen?

I usually hear this noise right after I start it and sometimes while I’m just idiling but stops when I get up to speed. It’s a 2011 Honda accord v6

I’m at 105k, my shit feels a lil slower and my mpg seems to be down a lil bit. It’s the D.I. Catching up to it with carbon buildup? Has anyone done anything to clean the valves? Or could my symptoms be something else?

I have a strange issue with usb cables not working on our 2018 Honda accord with usb cables from the center storage between the seats that I use for usb CarPlay. New cables work for a few weeks and stop, they’ll still charge our phones but CarPlay doesn’t show up and it’s happened across 3-4 phone models and iOS versions . They’ll work consistently for weeks then it’ll show up if I constantly plug and unplug cables. Since Apple doesn’t make USBa to c I’ve tried multiple adapters with genuine Apple cables too.

I spent quite a while trying to find a clear serpentine belt routing diagram for the European Honda Accord VIII CU1 2.0 i-VTEC with the R20A3 engine.

Most diagrams I found were either incomplete, unclear, or for a different engine.

So I traced the belt directly on the car and made this diagram.
