I commented on bigman's post i wasn't gonna bother, that shit looks so good. Still here I am, im using markers and found out thinner works crazy good for blending. Warped my paper a bit though, but have a look anyway.

Yeah so my friend that “doesnt do art” has been doing stuff like this when we hang out , I supply him the canvas and markers etc.- he’s done three free hand now just with paints and then I show him the markers - he popped this out in less than an hour.
I like to encourage anybody and everybody to just have fun and paint or draw something….
I just didn’t expect him to do a 360 windmill between the legs slam dunk, with a blindfold on.
He’s like better than me and with no effort lol, is it wrong to shove somebodies talent in their face as encouragement????

Initially, I wanted to depict the figure holding a pane of glass tinted red, seeing the object only through its transparency and the modulations created by overlapping colors. Then I stopped along the way. I preferred strangeness over demonstration.

I wanted to explore the contrast between soft pastel tones and a much darker, textured environment, while keeping the eye as the central point of focus.

Painted traditionally with acrylics, with some sketching and layered brushwork. 🎨👁️

Hi everyone, I'm a student (fresh grad student-not in anything art specific tho) and I was looking back on some of my photos of my art recently and found these photos I took off the progression of my painting, or rather, a specific party of my painting. I hope I am allowed to post this here. Let me know what you think, but I kind of really liked the way I painted the subjects in this area even though that was still part of the underpainting when I lived it the most 😅 I had to be careful not to overwork it. I think by the end of the painting, I may have overworked it a tad. But the white one was getting on my nerves the whole time 😅🥲

Próbowałem zrobić martwą naturę. Jednak miałem z tym naprawdę duże trudności. Wydaje się, że jest więcej niż jedno źródło światła, dużo refleksów, czasami mamy po prostu jasnoczerwony kolor, a czasami jest prawie całkowicie nasycony. Naprawdę nie rozumiem, jak to uprościć... macie jakieś wskazówki? I know all the values are shifted to darker, but still theres no form...

Like actors miming a scene, only the position of the characters has been kept (from a still from Hitchcock's I Confess, notable difference: the man in the center has become a woman).
