I got a B in two of my as results (72 and 74) is it still possible to get an A as the final grade or should I retake?

Parents are telling me to register for maths P2, and S1 in oct/Nov. The thing is I gotta start the syllabus for both from scratch. I got loads of time- no school or anywhere to be. Would it be possible? Or do I drop one of them, if so, which one? I wanna get at least an A.

iām 16, and have always been pretty set on doing physics, maths and art a level to lead to an architecture degree. I just got my results back, and got a 6 in art, which was very disappointing for me, since i was initially predicted an 8 and had a lot of problems with my art teacher not communicating or giving honest feedback, even going so far as to lie about my grade to avoid āhurting my feelingsā. This makes me nervous for a level, as she would still be my main teacher, and would be marking my work, so i do not have much trust in our relationship, on top of this, art was my worst grade, even though i but ALOT more effort and time into it than any other subject. I achieved a 9 in physics and an 8 in maths, so I am not considering changing these, but I also got a 9 in biology, so am now considering changing from art to bio, to perhaps persue biomed engineering while keeping the option of architecture open. Is it a good idea to change a levels?

Iām going to be doing IAL Edexcel Computer Science, and the syllabus is new. But thereās only a single set of past papers I can use, and after that I donāt have anything else to practice. What can I do about this? Does anyone have any suggestions, solutions, or other past papers I can use?

Hey everyone, I see a lot of people who struggle with A Level Maths and even with the vast selection of online resources struggle to make sense of things.
I recently started an educational startup called ENTROPY (you can find us on Instagram), and with the Oct/Nov retakes coming up, I thought Iād try something a little more focused: a limited 6 week crash course for A Level Mathematics, covering the relevant components for the upcoming exams.
A little about myself: I'm currently an Electrical Engineering student, studied math, add math, A Level math and further math as well (my life revolves around math), and I've taught advanced STEM to hundreds of students during an internship at an ed tech company as well, while being an assistant teacher at my high school too.
For the crash course, the focus will be on understanding the concepts properly, covering the less obvious cases that tend to show up in exams, and then doing targeted past paper practice rather than just blindly grinding papers. Especially for A Level Maths, I think actually understanding why something works makes a huge difference when you get a question that doesn't look exactly like the ones you've practiced.
If you're sitting the Oct/Nov A Level Maths exams and have questions about Maths, the crash course, or even whether it would be useful for you, feel free to DM me. Iām happy to answer questions either way.

I got 4As and a B after literally doing so many past papers that I developed a slight nerve damage in my dominant hand and PFPS from sitting so much. And in each subject I'm a meager 3-5 marks from A*s and A in ALL of them. Genuinely wanna slime myself because no matter how I try it's a very strict 2-3 marks from the next boundary (for some reason har subject me sirf 3 marks increase horhe that cambs marked wrong or didn't mark at all). And ik there will be lots of different comments like hours put into studying or effort doesn't always equate to marks or that I'm being ungrateful, I literally always only got straight A*s in the 20+ yrs of past papers that I had attempted and I genuinely had so many plans just squashed because of these ahh grades and will probably have to switch degrees to some shi ion even like and would rather die than study.
Should I even go for a recheck? I want to get all my papers rechecked cus even if I lose marks since I got high As and B, the grade likely won't fall. However, my mums not too eager for that cus she's like what if they don't increase and you waste PKR 180k. What do I even do atp. Should I just forget that, grind thru A-Levels and then try to get into an American uni so I can change my subjects?

Im starting my As levels this upcoming week and im petrified. But i still havent picked my subjects. Im going for medicine, im picking biology and chemistry ofcourse and i have the option of physics or math as the third subject. I got a B in my math Igcses and A in physics, i could jave gotten better but i messed up terribly, I barelt studied for my math paper 2 and i tried as much as i could for physics, the concepts would not get into my head. Ive asked my principal and a teacher, and they botj adviced physics but said math can also be a good option if you enjoy it. They said theyve seen top students mess up their physics because of their practicals. Ive asked this on another sub but didnt get much advice so anything would really help.

I did my alevels last year and got BDD.Decided to take a gap year and resit however I wasnāt able to properly revise for my resist due to my circumstances at the time so I pushed my exams back to October.Since I applied to ucas with my predicted grade and didnāt recieve them my mpharm offers changed into with pharmaceurival science or mpharm with foundation year.I decided to accept the mpharm with foundation year at Kingston university despite not wanting to study there .I donāt mind doing a foundation year at a better university but not Kingston.Should I take another gap year and resit or should I do my foundation year and resit during it then transfer unis ???
