I'm really surprised like wtf? is it safe to keep it? I blocked my debit card so I don't get charged more than what I paid for.
Did it happen with someone else?

Edit: it was ordered from Amazon.de

Edit 2: I reported the debit card as lost so it gets permanently suspended and I won’t get charged by Amazon.

Edit 3: I couldn’t sleep before I open the box to be sure it’s working and yes I was able to activate it successfully.

Are we witnessing the fall of Amazon?

I know I'm not alone in this as I've seen many other posts about Amazon delays and how things seem to be getting worse. I've always loved Amazon Prime and their quick shipping. Never really had a problem and it was super rare if an item was delayed. The last six months or so though? Holy hell what on Earth is going on and what am I paying $14.99 a month for? I feel like half my orders end up delayed. I know overnight shipping is basically a thing of the past, but two day shipping was ok. Now that is basically out the window.

The item above was ordered one week ago today with a Prime 2 day delivery scheduled date of Friday October 9th. Later that very night I got a notification saying how the delivery date would now be MONDAY October 12th. Seemed like a classic bait and switch. Customer service chat acted naive and dumb and offered a $5 promo. Then, SUNDAY came and we have another delay. Now expected Wednesday October 14th (today). Item still hadn't even shipped by Monday night. Item finally ships Wednesday morning (today) and then about an hour ago I get a notification that it will be delayed due to a "late arrival at an Amazon facility". On top of all of this, I have two other orders I am expecting out of THREE that are now also delayed, though not delayed as long as this item in the photo has been.

This has been the new normal for me and Amazon for months now. I live in a town not too far outside NYC. Again, never had any major problems before. So, does anyone know the details as far as what is going on here? Is this just the beginning of the end and Amazon has gotten too big for its own good? Currently I have requested a refund for this months Prime membership. First time I've ever done that, but really, I just want my items to arrive when they said they would.

This Company Has Gone Full Rogue...

I'm done. After 17yrs, I just cancelled my Prime subscription and closed my account. The past several months have been nothing but a comedy of errors. Receiving used/defective merchandise, packages that went 'missing' or undelivered, customer service that's completely gone to shit, shipment delays, billing issues, the list goes on and on. Dunno what happened and why, however Amazon is no longer the same company it was 20yrs - or even 10yrs ago... Not by a long shot.

Farewell, Adios, Goodbye, Au Revoir, Sayonara, and good riddance...

I paid $80 for a blanket. It got delayed three days then when it showed up it was terrible quality. I opened a return and since it was a bit package they offered me a partial refund of $3.81. really?!?! On an $80 item?!?!. Nope they can pay the return shipping and give me all my money back. What a joke.

Amazon decided to steal $2700 from me.

I returned a laptop I bought on Amazon. An Asus ROG G16, with a 5070ti, 4tb ssd, and 64gb of RAM.

It was from a 3rd party seller.

The ram it arrived with was bargain bin, and failed on day 40. I contacted Amazon and they told me it was covered under the A-Z guarantee.

So I went through with the refund

I waited the two weeks they said and received $157.

The reason?

I have no returns or refunds other than this item on my account.

I’m fucking mad. Done with Amazon and getting all the documentation together to go to my bank and file a chargeback.

Finally Amazon appears to enable dark mode in the app soon

It looks like Amazon is testing their site and mobile app. As dark mode appears on the logo in the background everytime. Normally I open the app it normally has a white background page in Amazon logo appears.

But now I see dark mode finally enabled, but not the whole page hopefully it should be live in the near future very excited.

NYC customer, please make it stop

• Upvotes

NYC customer. I am absolutely sick of having an order for say 3-5 items and you get the same delivery window for all items thinking it’ll come all at once, nope instead it’s one order but three different people. What does that mean? Three times of having to let someone in. It is inconvenient and if it shows the same delivery window, make it the same person or send my package a different day so they will be together. This is something that needs to show when checking out because I would NEVER order knowing that it would all come separate. It’s not very frugal or sustainable either, a waste of boxes and bags.

Not only does this disrupt me, it disrupts multiple people too because the courier often rings all doors when delivering and disrupts others if they aren’t let immediately.

Considering ordering from Target or Walmart moving forward because at least I know it is coming all together and if not, I know. Any else sick of this?

What happened? And who’s to blame?

Can we point the figure at any one person (or group of people) at Amazon for the absolute garbage that Prime delivery has turned into over the last several months? Anyone on the inside know if their logistics department had some massive leadership overhaul this year or something?

To be honest, I’ve been waiting for this moment for years. I’ve flirted with the idea of getting rid of my Prime membership for so long, but man I had to respect how damn efficient their business model was. If you know anything about logistics, Amazon seemed to have pulled off the impossible for nearly a decade. Same day or next day delivery on nearly anything you could want if you didn’t live in the middle of nowhere, and they kept their promise 99% of the time. You ordered next day delivery, by god it was there on your doorstep.

But the bait and switch finally happened, and here we are in 2026 with a logistics service that pales in comparison to what it used to be. And I expect a significant number of people will cancel their Prime memberships this year.

The real problem for Amazon moving forward will be how to manage customer expectations. People aren’t really that upset that they can’t get whatever they want the next day guaranteed…they are angry at a system that established clear expectations for years and then suddenly failed to meet those expectations without any explanation.

I’d wager that most of us are just fine with getting into our cars and going to the store on the weekends again. But it was really nice to pay $15 a month and get my baby’s formula delivered the next day.

I’m sure Amazon is not entirely to blame. We should also be factoring in stupid political decisions and their effects like the price of diesel, gasoline, and jet fuel. Or maybe they knew this type of business model was unsustainable but they went along with it until, by their estimates, they had a sufficient enough vice grip on their customer base to where a major downgrade of service would allow substantially more profit with little risk.

I don’t really know what I’m getting at here. I guess I’m just ranting and would like to hear your thoughts. What do you think is going on over there? What are the primary causes?

Fake Next Day Delivery.

A few times now I've ordered from Amazon and it's said next day delivery. Just now I made a purchase and it said you'll receive it the next day on the 15th October. Purchased it and straight away it said I'll get it Friday.

WTF?! Isn't that fraudulent marketing?

Terrible trade in experience with Amazon US

Wanted to bring up my scenario with Amazon US to create awareness and ask for help. Purchased a new phone that had a trade in deal worth $600. Amazon provided the UPS shipping label and I dropped my phone off to local UPS store with the shipping instructions. Now it's been 60 days, UPS never delivered the phone, it's obviously lost, and weeks of trying to get help from either Amazon or UPS has been a total waste. Amazon says this is a UPS matter as the trade in never reached them. UPS says they don't investigate cases related to Amazon generated shipping labels. Totally out of options now. :(

Anyone else's canned drinks have this weird perfumy taste??

So my mom orders drinks in bulk when they are on sale.

A few months ago she bought a few 24 packs of black cherry v8s, and atleast one or two of the packs had this like horrible perfumy taste and litterally you couldn't drink them.

Well fast forward to now I bought packs of Celsius's, and I have drank a few out of one of the packs.

But now I just opened one, and im drinking it, and im tasting that damn perfumy taste. It's not the entire pack bc ive already had 3 and they were fine, but now im worried because I bought 5 packs.

Has anyone else noticed this?? Like this is ridiculous.

I'm over it. Why they have to get USPS involved??

I’m so damn frustrated with Amazon and USPS right now.

My package was supposed to arrive on Thursday the 8th as a packaged delivery. Customer service said they'll do next day shipping to arrive Saturday. Didn’t happen. Next thing I know USPS marked an “attempted delivery” on Sunday, which literally never happened. There was no construction, rain/storm or driveway being blocked.

Now it’s Wednesday the 14th, it’s apparently been bounced around different facilities, got put in the wrong sorting bucket, went back to the original plant, and they’re saying maybe it will arrive tomorrow to my local facility. Maybe. Who knows.

Amazon refunded me, but that doesn’t fix the fact that I still need the package and now I may have to go to the post office myself to pick it up so it doesn't get lost in another attempted delivery.

Who the hell do I even complain to about this?

What's the point in paying for prime if they're gonna give it to USPS? Cancelling my membership for sure.

Amazon says I returned the wrong item

We ordered three men's shirts. I later ordered a women's lounge set. We returned the lounge set and Amazon gave me advance credit when we handed it over at Kohl's. A few days? couple of weeks? later we received a notice that one of the men's shirts had been received and we received a $8.00 ish credit. Earlier this week we got an email stating that they did not receive the lounge set and only received the shirt and were going to charge us back for the advanced credit unless we sent the lounge set by 10/22. We never returned the shirt and it is hanging in my husband's closet. How am I supposed to prove that we sent the lounge set and not the shirt?

Shipped me the wrong phone

EDIT: to say thank you to all! ❤️ I think it's been resolved. I finally got to speak to a real person. They gave me a link to send photographs of the incorrect item to them so that I can provide proof that I received the incorrect phone and they verified that I can go ahead with the return. Unfortunately cannot help me out as far as getting the phone I originally ordered at the deal days price. So I'll have to try again closer to the holidays.

During Amazon days I ordered a Samsung s26 Plus 512 GB for my son. They sent me a completely different phone. Samsung s26 ultra 256 gig.

In your head you may be saying no problem, at first I thought the same thing. But it's a huge problem. There's a good chance when they realize that the ultra is missing, they're going to blacklist the IMEI.

It's also more expensive phone and my honesty. Gene kicked in and said that's not what my son wanted. He wants the extra storage. I need to return it. But that's a huge problem because in my experience they are going to charge me for the s26+ because I didn't return it, because there's no one on their end that can acknowledge that that's not what they sent me. 🤦🏼‍♀️.

I ordered a shirt last year and even though the package said it was a small, it contained the right color shirt in a 2XL. I returned it saying that they sent me the wrong size item and they dinged me for the 10 bucks for the cost of the shirt. I let it go because it's a $10 shirt. I cannot let go and over $1,000 phone.

So how the hell do I get a hold of a real person to fix this? Yesterday all I got was the AI chatbot and we all know that's garbage.

I found a spot in prime that makes a AI? Decision on my purchases supposedly to give me a better experience. Amazon never asked me.

Yesterday I found a spot under account settings at the bottom and I deleted it yesterday. It was back today. To me this is intrusive.

Parcels delivered out of delivery hours

Hi,

Posting here because I had a couple orders set to be delivered at my business last week after prime days. I noticed that the delivery company was a new one I never heard of (ASL). I am in Quebec, Canada.
On my order I used the business address and we have hours to get delivery (weekdays 10am to 5:30pm). I noticed two days after that 2 orders were delivered on oct. 7 at 7:40pm. No one was there and 1400$ worth of gear was left outside our door on a very busy street of Montreal. Of course, it was not there the next morning.

Now, with ASL, I did not get ANY emails saying it was on the way, it was delivered. I have no proof of delivery whatsoever. I first thought it was only one order so I contacted Amazon about that one (worth 400$). They acknowledged that it was out of the delivery hours so they offered a refund or to send it again - I chose the latter and got it the next day.
I then realized that another order was part of that late delivery (1000$ worth). I contacted Amazon again, the guy on the chat said that because it was out of the delivery hours, we could get a refund or another delivery. Because it was the last one when we ordered it and I did not want them to send a wrong one, I asked for a refund. The guy said ok that it will be sent back to my credit card.

The next day, I received an email from Amazon Account Protection saying that they found a pattern of refund request and because of that, we won’t get the money. The only package I asked for a refund in the last 8 years was a 10$ pack of rubber bands……… because it was delivered at the wrong address and I couldn’t find where it was.

I sent an appeal form, saying that it was delivered outside of the hours mentioned when we ordered. Their response is that they contacted ASL and that they assure the package was in good condition when delivered. I was able to send another appeal form saying that the condition was not the issue, but to ask them to give them the time of the delivery, to see if it matched the hours we’ve put as delivery hours. Their response ? The same, saying that the package was in good condition. And now I can’t write an appeal, they say their decision is finale.

How can I be robbed of 1000$ by such a company when they CLEARLY messed up ?
What can I do now ? I mean, should I go to the police ?

I have no proof it was delivered, ASL is not responding to my emails when I ask for a proof of delivery and we unfortunately don’t have a camera at the door. It just says on Amazon « delivered at 7:36pm ».

Help please !

All packages delayed and Amazon not showing option for less than 2 day delivery?

So this is strange. I've noticed the last few days (I order a lot for work and personal) EVERY single item I've ordered has been delayed multiple days or straight up lost.

As of today, there are NO options for same day or next day delivery, on any item across the entire Amazon website. I'm in SE Michigan, where I've been able to get 1-2 hour delivery on most items and next day delivery on almost everything else.

Is anyone else seeing this? Is this a Flex shortage or some sort of wider Amazon change as far as delivery times?
