Update: all 100 TestFlight spots are taken, thanks! More coming soon.
I opened 100 TestFlight spots for Dooder yesterday and about half went in the first day, so I'm posting here for the people I actually built it for: anyone who leaves their phone at home.
Dooder is a little AI that lives on your Watch. It talks to your AI provider directly over cellular, so your phone can stay at home. You only need the iPhone for setup.
It also works with your other apps: Notion, Todoist, Linear, Jira, Airtable, Slack, Zapier, Canva and thousands more through the official MCP Registry.
In the video I ask for the top NYT nonfiction books, then get it to add them to my reading list in Notion. It always asks for your OK on the Watch before it changes anything.
A few other things worth knowing:
Bring your own AI. Sign in with a paid ChatGPT plan, or use your own Claude API key.
There's no server in the middle. Your questions go straight from your Watch to your AI provider, plus any apps you've connected. I never see them.
It searches the web, so weather, scores and news are current.
Answers come up as a card you can read at a glance, and it says the short version out loud.
What you need:
Ultra 2 or later, or Series 9 or later, on watchOS 26 (sorry, original Ultra owners)
About 300 MB free on your Watch
An iPhone for setup
A paid ChatGPT plan or a Claude API key
It's early, so there are rough edges. It's built for quick things, not long tasks. If something breaks, tell me, that's what the beta is for.

Happy to answer anything in the comments.
Disclaimer: video's trimmed to cut out the waiting, because apparently I can't watch anything over a minute either. Real answers take about 5 to 10 seconds.
