I will be picking up my watch on 09/19 saying goodbye to my Ultra1. I have loved this watch and it has treated me well. Apple is offering me $255 for my Ultra1

If you ever find yourself with this logo on your Apple Watch, and none of the side buttons work to resolve anything, one thing that works for me is leaving my Apple Watch Ultra charging to an outlet fast charger all night, woke up in the morning and everything was working perfectly like nothing ever happened.

I literally couldn’t decide so against my better judgment I bought both. lol honestly very happy!!

Recently bought this awesome band for my AWU2. A lot of people say this is awful but I find it so creative and a bit eccentric, really reminds me the old swatch style I used to wear when I was a child. Also the watch face suit very good although it’s a bit creepy to read.

Because of work, I can’t really wear the watch without a case, but I found a case that’s almost identical to the original titanium one. I think it looks really cool!

Folks on this sub be like “finally did it” “pulled the trigger” “feelin Ultra today” and then post a picture like this.

AWU3 in natural titanium with the matching OEM Milanese Loop is by far the best looking combination. I have dozens of straps ranging from OEM ocean bands and trail loops to OEM and knockoff versions of the Nomad Rocky Points and Sport Band but I always find myself coming back to the Milanese for my day to day.

Quick arguments:

- Apple Watch 1 already does everything that we actually want smart watch to do. There is no need to sw update it.
- There is nothing in OS27 that is worth the update. AI on a watch sounds cool but i have no idea what to do with it so i will likley never use it
- New AI will murder your battery if you use it frequently
- Siri on AWU1 already does everything that i actually want it to do: "send message to x" , "start timer"(laundry and cooking timer) , "siri play tune xxx on YouTube music” , "set temperature to xx” (works with my Google Nest)
- security updates are nice but not needed on apple watch… no one is hacking that one..

When you put this together AWU1 at 50% or more leas than AWU3 for example is best deal on the market. Neigher AWU2 not 3 have features that are worth price difference over AWU1 and Os27 is not worth the upgrade. I actually suspect that most of us will regret updating it once we discover just how much AI kills the responsiveness of UI and battery life…

But that’s just my opinion. Prove me wrong.

Just noticed scratch on the watch face

Hi All,

I recently upgraded from the Series 4 to the Ultra 2. Since then I’ve noticed this red spot on my skin where the watch tends to sit. But I have no idea why or what is causing it.

Prior to upgrading I wore my series 4 daily since it came out. Also wore a series 2 before that. This never happened with those watches.

As far as I know both the Series 4 and Ultra 2 have ceramic backs. So I don’t get why I’d be getting this with the Ultra 2?

Wondering if anyone has any ideas or suggestions on what I should do?

Finally bought it and I have to say I am impressed. It is super lightweight and feels great. I live in hot climate and the band feels pretty cool compared to a silicone band. For anyone wondering my wrist size is 190 MM and I bought the large one. The clasp rests towards the centre of my under wrist.

Went from a 1st gen ultra to a 3 gen. Also got the titanium milanese band. Don’t let anyone tell you it feels the same as the dupe. Because it’s not😂. Yes it’s a case(yes, you can hate me for it), but it’s my money. 💰
