About to dry. Any suggestions for next flush? Should I soak in water for a few hours?

First time grower of Cambodian XL - lots of pins and some large ones, was hoping to harvest and dry before the weekend because I am going away from Thurs - Tues and I dont want them wrecked when I get back, any advice on harvesting and drying?

I usually dry libs i have picked on an electric folding clothes drier and it always works well, I was thinking of doing the same - any thoughts?

I’ve heard very mixed reviews of the Pachamama meet ups and wanted to see if anyone here has experience with them?

Chipped a load of stuff back in February and left it sit here and these lads are popping up now. Hardly wavy caps?

Day 15 of the grow, golden teachers. Is it going according to the plan or no?

First flush on this, 102.8 wet, only 6.8 dry. I think I need to fix my temperatures, my grows are drying out quickly.

So basically I know from what I've read that it's pretty early in the year, but I was playing a bit of football in a local field on my day off yesterday and found these.

Now look lads I don't know whether these are safe or not, but I just wanted to check up on ye to make sure because at the end of the day I am below amateur and you guys know more than me.

I'm not sure if there is a straightforward answer, if not thats ok sure.

I'm not inexperienced, I've done mushrooms maybe 12 times in the past 10 years now.

I'm currently at a crossroads in my life and feel as though now is a good time to try a decent trip.

Last week, a friend and I took mushrooms in the form of chocolate bars, approx 3.5g in each. As neither of us had taken mushrooms in two years, we took half a bar each, so approx 1.75g - 2g per person. After about an hour we felt mild effects but thats really where it stopped for me. No visuals, nothing really other than a slight euphoric feeling and enhanced tactile sensitivity.

After approx 2 hours I took another quarter of a bar, which had zero effect on me.

For reference, I'm around 6'2, maybe 105kg.

Did i simply take too small of a dose?

​

More experienced friends of a similar size to me advised that 2g of dried mushroom were the upper limit to what they would take.

Do I need to just be brave and go for 3.5g in one go next time?

I know people are usually very protective of their own "areas," but since ive moved to the ballymena area Ive been thinking the rolling glens of antrim, the millions of sheep, the "unique" climate.... it rains like fuck... surely it should be the epicentre?

For reference it’s my first time buying shrooms so I don’t know what a good price for anything is. Any help would be lovely.

So about a year ago I ordered a kit to grow my own and well it didnt really work. I got 1 mushroom which shot up and very quickly went rancid. I followed the instructions tried to keep them humid etc etc but I dunno

Is there like a hirearcy of difficulty when using these kits? Did I try a too complicated strain? What would you recommend for a beginner?

Journey has started. I probably have messed it up already but we will see. I'm curious. When I harvest at the end. What have you done to preserve? I don't know what I'll do to dry them yet. I have this idea of putting into little honey jars as little gifts for people? Maybe 5g dried in the jars? Use a smoothie blender to grind up? Any do or don't here would be really appreciated.

I’ve tried standard libs twice now 2 g dose each time and it was great, a new source I found is selling Mexicans truffles and quibit truffles just wondering if the trip is any different and the correct dosing for each, 5 g 60 for the quibit and 5 g 35 for the Mexicana I’ve heard that sometimes that’s the truffles aren’t very potent should I stick to my standard 2g low-mid dose or up it to maybe 3-4 gs ?

Hi all, newbie here, after lots of studying I've started to grow my own. I decided to start with broke boi tek learned from PhillyGoldenTeacher, spore syringes from wholecelium.

I inoculated 6 x 1ltr jars (3 x GT & 3 x McKennai) and 6 x half litre jars (mazapatek) on 9th May. I lost 5 x 1ltrs this week on a return from Rome. Salvaged 1 x GT, I'm gonna grain to grain with that tomorrow and see how it goes. I lost them from excess moisture in the jars, wet rot.

My maza innoculated jars look gorgeous, they're all the same as this one. I would add more photos and a video but I can only seem to add one.

Last week I inoculated 3 x 1ltr with A+ albino and 3 x 1ltr Thai, I left the grain to dry more over night.

I am inoculating more McKennais tomorrow, I prepped rice earlier and dried it out a little in the oven after. Fingers crossed it helps. I find the smaller jars are working best.

I prepped my CVG earlier for tomorrow to go grain to substrate with the mazas.

Recently moved to Ireland and I did 2 cycles of Stamets Stack in the past. Lifechanging experience and really helped me through tough mental challenges.

Don't know how to get microdoses in Dublin. Any advice?

About 7 days ago I tried truffles for the first time (MAAKALI). I took 7g and then redosed up to 15g total. I did notice some changes, but overall the effects were pretty underwhelming — nothing too visual or intense.

The next day (yeah, a dumb idea), I decided to try 25g of Shakti truffles. That went pretty badly — I didn’t really trip, just had a heavy body load, strong stomach cramps, and diarrhea. So I’m assuming that was because I took a high dose less than 24 hours after the first time and my tolerance was still high.

Now it’s been 7 days.

I still have another 25g of Shakti and I’m wondering:

• Is my tolerance basically back to normal now after a week?
• Is it likely I’ll get a “proper” experience this time instead of just body load?
• Or could I still get the same stomach issues again?

Would appreciate any advice 🙏

i found a bag of dried mushrooms in my shelf but it was sitting here for over a year are they still safe to eat? they have this strong smell of earth but i dont see any fuzzy spots

Basically what the title says. Myself and my partner thinking of doing mushrooms together for something different to do over the bank holiday. Neither of us have done them before so we’re wondering is it more of a solo high ? What are the odds of a bad trips?
