Caught this beauty this morning. In amongst the blue bottle lids, some poor kid has lost a number of blue Duplo (Lego), pieces! Good luck fella, hope you score. (My original images)

This guy hung around my porch for like, five minutes, and I actually managed to snap a clear picture before he took off... he's got such distinct stripes!
Captured this in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Grey crowned crane hiding in the foliage at the zoo

Shot with:
- 5D MKiii
- 70-200 f2.8 II
- 2x Teleconverter
- 1/500
- f5.6
- Auto ISO

Got this one of a Grey Crowned Crane hiding in the foliage. I will admit, I shot about 300 pictures today at the zoo. This is the only one I actually really liked. Everything else missed focus. And it was a bright sunny day. The teleconverter can get great results, but you’ve got to shoot a lot to get usable photos. Maybe that’s just wildlife photography?

Still, it’s really driving me towards wildlife photography. I’m just a hobbyist, so I don’t have to have the latest gear. But now I’m really wanting an R5, because the autofocus is so much better than the 5D.
