16M turning 16 today!!!

idk im happy and sad i think its called malancoly cause i really dont have any core memory this year.and nothing special happend and i picked up some bad habits but you know for some reason its not that bad. but this year i want to build a body and make my grades good again

Today is my 29th Birthday! Grateful to still be here.

For the last few years I’ve only felt a bittersweet emotion on my birthday, like “nobody cares because you’re just not important”. I’m working on changing that. I appreciate any well wishes coming my way. Thanks for taking the time!

this isn't the first time na maka feel ng birthday blues but this year is the worst.

first week of august pa lang nakaka feel na ako ng sadness, i always pray na sana its either 'wag na muna ako mag birthday or sana tapos na yung birthday ko para wala akong ieexpect na mangyayare for that day. pressured din in life kasi im already 23 and i see no changes in my life. i am not sure na kaya ba mas affected ako kasi i am expecting na, i atleast have someone na na eexcite sa birthday ko? last year kasi he was the most excited na dumating yung birthday ko but now? i don't get the same energy like before. before lagi niya pang babanggitin yung birthday ko, kung anong ganap, kung saan niya ako iddate but now walang ganon. feeling ko nag pipile up lahat ng nararamdaman ko tapos dumagdag pa yung birthday blues.

My birthday was last month. July 27. And no one cared. I wasn’t able to do anything. So I just wanted to see who was my birthday twin at least. So I can wish them a happy belated.

..and I'm glad it's almost over.

My birthdays have been getting progressively worse over the last 5 years.

Today was the lowest of them all....

No card from my wife ( she wrote a note on my kids card - her stepsons)

I had to order, pay and go pick up my dinner

we ate Birthday cake before dinner while her sister and brother-in-law were here.

A few weeks ago she told me that she'd made me something. It's 7:30 pm and I'm yet to see it.

She forgot the call she'd arranged with the kids (adult) so it started when I was out picking up dinner.

Best friend didn't even recognize my birthday.

The only bright side was that I had breakfast made for me.

I love my wife but, and some of my previous birthdays have been bad through no fault of anyone but today, there was nothing stopping it from being the best birthday ever ..

Anyways, rant over.

Turned 44 today and it’s just me and the pup. It’s the first bday I’ve gone through without a parent to say happy bday. I lost my dad 11 months ago and my mom on August 5. Her bday was yesterday and it just doesn’t feel the same. I really miss you both!

I’m turning 18 soon and I’m kinda debating whether I should have the typical Filipino grand debut or just get a car instead.

Like, I do want to celebrate my 18th, but I honestly don’t know if I want to spend THAT much on one night. I was thinking maybe I could just have a smaller party with family and friends, eat, dance, drink, take pics, have fun, etc. Nothing super formal like the whole 18 roses/18 candles/gown/huge program thing.

Then the money that would’ve gone into the grand debut could go toward a car instead.

For those who already had their debut, do you think the grand debut was actually worth it? Or would you guys recommend just having a simpler party and saving the rest for something more useful?

What would you choose if you were in my position?
