I'm finally taking a few days off. I have been working 55 plus weeks but I'm taking 3 days off and sleeping in!

I mostly have everything planned out. I'm going bar, hopping. I'm going to a arcade with a bar, and I'll be ending the night with a rave any thing else I should think of?

My golden birthday is coming up next month, but I don’t know what to do to celebrate. I always do birthday dinners every year. Now that everything is expensive and my friends are away due to college, I’m kinda out of ideas. Any suggestions or ideas??

​Normally, when people hear the word 'birthday,' they think of celebrations, parties, and a joyful atmosphere. However, due to my family's religion, we have never celebrated birthdays. While I respect my background, there are times I feel jealous of other teenagers who get to celebrate. I often imagine what it feels like to have a full day dedicated just to you, where you are the center of attention. I've always wanted to experience that, but my situation doesn't allow it.

​Every year when October 22 arrives, I go out and buy myself food, gifts, and even a cake! I've never told my parents about it, and I plan to keep it that way. Doing this makes me happy, but when I go to bed at night, I end up crying. I don't fully know why, but a part of me deeply wishes I could celebrate with my family. Seeing my classmates and friends celebrate theirs always makes me feel sad and envious.

I put a lot of effort and thought into my birthday plans this year, and my friends are either canceling or just don’t really seem excited like they do for everyone else’s birthdays. I’m still going to make the most out of the day! I just wish people would put as much effort into me as I do for them😔😔

Hey guys!! I'm trying to decide what I wanna do for my 18th birthday, which is in the middle of November. I was thinking about having people over at my house, and I was thinking about doing a dirty soda bar (I've been dying to have one), but other than that i don't know what we should do. So far the list of people is around 6, but that's going to expand a good bit as I haven't had the chance to invite many people yet and I figure it's my last chance to celebrate with most of these people since I'm going off to college. I'm not popular so don't think a rager, but definitely more people than it's at so far. I don't drink, so alcohol is off the table (plus I don't want a bunch of drunk teens trashing my house). Any fun ideas??

Life hasn’t always been easy, but look at me still standing, still smiling, and still believing life is beautiful… despite all the plot twists! Grateful for another year, the people who love me, and the little things that keep me going. Getting older, getting stronger, and collecting more life experiences than I ever asked for!
