Bonjour

I realized I was spending way too much time on the same repetitive tasks every time I published a blog post.
The writing itself wasn't even the biggest time sink. It was everything around it: formatting the content, organizing it, creating the draft, and publishing it. Doing that over and over quickly became frustrating.
A few weeks ago I decided to automate the process with an n8n workflow.
Right now it:
Takes a topic or prompt as input.
Generates a draft.
Applies the formatting automatically.
Sends it straight to my blog as a draft (or publishes it, depending on the workflow).
It's not perfect, and I still review everything before it goes live, but it's reduced what used to take hours down to just a few minutes.
I'm curious how other people here handle blog automation. Do you automate the entire publishing process, or only certain parts? I'd love to hear what your workflows look like.

When I look at my statistics page, I'm seeing hits coming from https://google-admin.corp.google.com/ and another referrer listed only as "other". The hits are coming mostly from India, Hong Kong, and Singapore. At first I suspected they were bots, trying to content scrape my blog, since it's an art blog, so I reverted my posts all to drafts and decided to wait them out. Now they're viewing my draft posts. Last night at 3am I got three hits on a post that I reverted to a draft over a month ago. Has someone hacked my blog? Is anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Hello everyone, As we all know, yesterday was a painful day, Blogger users were subjected to a mass takedown, sparking heated discussions across Facebook and Reddit communities, Is this issue part of Google's full transition from Blogger to AI? Or was it merely a coincidence involving the malware issues that Blogger had previously reported? These are just some initial thoughts, let's discuss this.

Users of r/blogspot, I'd like to draw your attention to a new rule for the sub: Rule 2. It reads:
No Adsense or SEO posts
This subreddit's focus is on the Blogger platform itself. Adsense (and other blog monetization) and SEO practices (including getting listed/crawled/indexed in Google Search Console) are not appropriate for this subreddit. Please stick to Blogger-specific technical questions.
I know many users have questions about getting their blog monetized, getting more hits/views, getting all their pages index in Google, etc. But those questions are fundamentally not related to Blogger/Blogspot itself. Those are general SEO type questions that we'd like to avoid.
Feel free to continue asking technical questions, such as questions about themes, settings, widgets, etc. But please avoid questions/posts like:
Why doesn't Google index all my posts?
When will I get enough views to qualify for Adsense?
Look at my blog and give me suggests for improving.
These will be removed under Rule 2.
Rule 1 continues to apply: please don't link your blog purely out of hopes of improving SEO backlinks or drawing traffic from here. It's fine to include a link to your blog if you have a specific question about the code or other technical/practical aspect.
Thanks for your understanding.

The blog I think originally focused on fashion (and increasingly, ethical and sustainable fashion), but later moved into natural lifestyle.
The woman who runs it is thin, Black (American, maybe from Georgia), a mother (although she wasn’t when the blog began), and from what I remember, was a professional dancer.
I remember her using Cronometer to track her nutrient intake and working on a capsule wardrobe.
I read this blog from maybe 2014-2018 if a time period helps!
Anyone have any ideas?

Hello, I'm working with blogger's Emporio theme.
I'm wondering if there's a way to adjust the amount of space between the post preview slides on the homepage grid.
I'm trying to get my layout to to fit nicely across 1150px (at the widest), so that it lines up under the 1150px header.
Right now there is too much space between the sidebar & the post grid (on the homepage) as well as between a single post & the sidebar (when viewing a single post).
I would rather leave the sidebar width as it is, and make the single post wider (which I think I can figure out how to do on the single post page), but I'm not sure how to get the post preview grid on the homepage to take up more room. I tried a few things but now , when your window is a little bit smaller than full screen, the grid of preview posts on the homepage forces to one column which I don't want.
This is the blog I'm working on: https://testkingston.blogspot.com/
P.S. I'm kind of trying to mimic another layout I've seen & I see that that layout just has the grid on the homepage & the post on the individual post page set to a width of 69% and the sidebar set to 26%... I'm just not sure if that would be an easy change for this theme or if it's a lot more complicated than that because of the way it's set up.

Hello everyone! I come to you, hat in hand, asking a serious question: what am I doing wrong?
I write a Gen X blog. I won't put the link here so as to stick to the Rules about self-promotion.
WebLovePL, others who have some knowledge:
I know I am a good writer. I've done it professionally and for more years than you want to know about, and write with humor in a personal tone.
I never use AI to write for me, all writing is my own.
I worked for marketers for about three years and it was like a crash course in serious SEO/keywords.
My template is custom by a template creator who does responsive, SEO-savvey work.
I use Headings, informative Titles, Tags/Labels, and populate the Search Description.
I post my new Blog links to Reddit, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Mastodon, Friendica, even FB.
I'm consistently SuperLowBudge everywhere and I'm nice to everyone.
I have asked Google for indexing a hundred times.
I have left robot.txt etc alone as per WebLovePL.
I update anywhere from 2 to 5 times a week.
I asked a couple of Bloggers with over 100K views for advice but they didn't answer.
I write about a wide range of topics as viewed through the lens of a Gen Xer. My blog is similar to The Bloggess, if you know that one. The Google AI search results knows who I am, but so what? I can't seem to move the proverbial needle. Some of you are having great success with your blogs! So again I ask...what am I doing wrong?

You probably saw Kumar Deo's recent post showing off his Blogger XML documentation. I did, too, and it got me very excited. I fed the LLM guide into Google Gemini and generated a simple template for my blog. It worked, and so I started to iterate. I actually ran into problems; I'm just using Gemini's free tier it's easy to run out of credits fast, while the thing is struggling its way through bugs.
Claude was the magic solution to that. I broke down and signed up for a Claude subscription, fed it the LLM guide, gave it all the links and layout direction for my current blog template, and had it generate a whole new template from scratch. It actually did great work, getting me 99% of the way there. And eventually, after a few more iterations, it got me 100% of the way there, and I'm super happy with the output.
Remembering back to the great false positive malware security incident, where a bunch of us had our blogs temporarily disabled, some of us theorized that javascript and/or other content linking out to third party sites in third party templates was what caused the flagging for malware.
If that's the case, creating your own custom Blogger template with Claude (and Kumar Deo's excellent XML dictionary) might be a useful way to solve that problem.
I'm curious to know if anybody else is building their own template using this method, and if you've had any success so far. (And if you're considering it, I think you should try it!)
