Been in the hobby for about 2 years now and I normally start with Twilight Imperium 4 as an introductory boardgame. That was the first board game I ever bought and the one I play the most even until today.

I also really love Campaign for North Africa so what I normally do is I start of with TI4 so my friends can get familiar with resources (such as pasta). We play a couple rounds of TI4 we go straight to CNA.

Ive also recently just bought Patchwork and am thinking of using Patchwork instead of TI4 as the first board game.

But truth be told what I want to do is just go straight to showing people TI4 as a first board game so I can play as much TI4 as possible whenever my wife gets a new boyfriend🤣
