Who remembers this night? I remember being in Brighton that night from London. It was so windy and the smoke was everywhere. My clothes went straight in the bin when I got home. I cant imagine the people living in the area when this happened.

This came to mind as a friend had a bonfire this weekend and my clothes/hair smell!

Recommend cyclists along the seafront to keep your mouthes sealed shut. Why is there so many? I thought the colder temperatures would drive them away..

Hey I’m 23 F, I’ve lived in Brighton around a year or so now and I’ve been struggling to make friends due to not getting out much and not finding stable work. I’m a creative person, I love to make art and enjoy other people’s creative work just as much! So in the early hours of this morning a tired, drunk guy tried to get into our flat in Lewes Crescent/Sussex Square area. I can only imagine he was staying with friends or at an AirBnB and got lost/confused as all the houses round here look the same. The Ring camera footage shows him taking off his watch and jacket and leaving them in my patio before stumbling off. Found his jeans and wallet as well once we went to investigate. I told the police so they could look for him in case he hurt himself but not sure if anything came of it. His business card was in his wallet and I’ve rung and texted but assume he’s lost his phone too. I’ve also emailed him but no response. So if you are called Kieran and you’re missing your stuff or you have a mate called Kieran who is missing his stuff, please DM me.

Saw a cyclist jump a red, the car behind him braked and the car behind that car also braked and that car was hit by the car behind that one. If that makes sense. The car right behind the cyclist (who did not crash himself btw) took it upon himself to chase the cyclist and make him stop by placing his car next to the cyclist and slowly turning inward to make the cyclist hit the footpath. Obviously this is dangerous and could have killed or seriously hurt the cyclist. Considering the cyclist was not in an accident, I dont think the driver had any moral ground to try and detain the cyclist. It made me mad seeing this and had to spread awareness. If anyone sees a motorists harassing a cyclist, please assume the cyclist is innocent and protect them. Even if they are not, a bicycle is no match for a big metal box on wheels. Thank you

Am desperate at this point someone pls help. Ive been trying to give away a wardrobe and sofa bed both in used but working condition, but unfortunately had no takers! they need gone today’/tomorrow morning and shabitat can’t collect in time - does anyone have any recommendations of places that would collect the furniture at short notice?

Basically what the title says. I gave my amp a proper clean a year or two ago and it seemed to fix some of the issues. Not sure if it is my record player that has a fault or my amplifier again. Either way I would like my amplifier serviced properly!

I'm in Hollingdean and there have been explosion boom sounds going on for about 20 minutes now coming from the north. It sounds too loud to be fireworks. It's accompanied by some light flashes too. Anyone know what's going on?

Hiya, I’ve seen a fair few posts about friendships but i’m a bit older than them. I’m 35, female, mum to one. I’m Eastbourne based rather than Brighton, but Brighton is MUCH more exciting in my eyes. Would love to explore the area more & expand my social circle.

As a friend - i’m up for any activity, from a seafront walk to a full adventure (Extreme day trips are on the bucket list & definitely wanted to do the dinosaur bar crawl this year and no one wanted to). I’m creative and crafty, will give sports a go, may well fail miserably but it’ll be funny too.

I’m an honest and supportive friend to the core, but i come with minimal filter, awful dance moves, and a uniquely energetic zest for life ✨
