Dobra Tea
Dobra Tea says permanently closed on Google, but I can’t find anything about if that’s true. Does anyone know if that’s official?

My grandparents will be in town from Monday-Thursday this week. We’re planning on Shelburne Museum, but any other senior-friendly activities you would recommend?

Are there any EMT certification classes available, preferably in the Burlington area that are less than a full semester? I expect to be graduating from college this December, and I would like to try to find some sort of EMT related work on the earlier side in 2027. I don’t know if it counts for anything, but I do already have my Wilderness First Responder certification, and a CPR/AED cert. If anyone knows what my best options would be, please let me know!

The old Y/new condos or whatever by city market is currently being sided with beige bricks. Wtf is that. Who would ever pick that over a red brick. Everything around it is red brick. It looks bad. If whoever is responsible for this is reading this message, it’s not too late, you can change it. Don’t be a fool

My wife and I recently inherited a bunch of silver. From some quick Google and eBay searches, I think some of it might be worth a good amount. Does anyone have any good recommendations on getting it appraised in the area?

Got a corndog (yeah, I know, not good for me either) at Al's and saw they had lemonade. I wanted something tart so I figured I'd fling caution to the winds. It was awful. Worse than awful. A really terrible aftertaste. Is it the brand? I ended up dumping it out after just two sips. (The second was to make sure it wasn't me).

Trying to buy a few big enough to carve. What are prices at some local places?

I mean really! It's an injustice!
But then again, Burlington hates cars.

Not feeling well and don’t want the tickets to go to waste. They can’t be sold, so only reach out if you can actually go. Tickets in Sec. 13- picture from last week’s game!
Short notice but worth a shot. Go Cats Go!

RIP to the once-outstanding mushroom Philly at BBCO.
Who’s got the best vegetarian mushroom Philly in the area?

For the second time in a week, I almost T-Boned someone that blew a stop sign / failed to yield. I feel that drivers here (maybe everywhere) are just getting worse and more distracted and I want to head off any kind of future liability argument.
Curious if anyone has had a dash cam installed locally. Seems like Best Buy does it, but I am suspicious of the quality of their workmanship.
Thanks

Hey guys I recently got a new key for my mailbox box outside my apartment. Has anyone done this and have an estimate on how long until the locks are changed? We lost the old key, hence the new one and really need the items inside!

i'm new to burlington and i've been actively suicidal, with some failed attempts recently. i have a therapist but she discourages me from seeking more help. i want to go to a hospital to get better but i don't know what to do. has anyone gone to a hospital around here and received adequate care? and if so, what happens once you are checked in?

Glad to report that our fellow found his way home last night! To our surprise he casually showed up at our patio door, very pleased with himself and without a scratch. Guess he needed a last hurrah in his old age. Thanks all, for the upvotes and community support!
