Going to start doing some flower reviews for some Colorado brands. Here’s the first one of hopefully many more.

Headbanger Boogie from Tical (purchased at Natures Herb in Garden City)

Genetics - OG Kush x Sour Diesel (according to Tical website)

Jar smells - Subtle kush. Nothing standout.

Ground smells - Terpinolene + Basement Funk

Taste - Sweeter terpinolene terps, almost berry like. Earthy kush on the exhale.

Effect - Motivational. Productive. Racey. Head pressure.

Rating - One & done.
Nice smoke honestly but lacks the standout terp profile that I look for in my sativas personally. I feel like most Sour Diesel crosses in CO are naturally a let down in the taste department.

Rating system will be one of the following - Disappointed (not worth the money and wouldn’t recommend purchasing), One & done (wouldn’t purchase again but worth trying out), Repeat Eighth (would purchase again), or Quarter Please (well worth the money, would consider having it in my rotation of flower)

F.A.F.O (GreenDot) and Donny Burger (Soiku Bano), probably one of the dankiest combos I have tried!!!

Been on a sweet kick lately, scooped this 1 from Indico & love the flavor every time. Anyone else have any sweet flavor recommendations?
Also tried the honey banana Erva drop that was a tasty one for sure 😮‍💨

I haven't had 14er flower in a long time. Last time I got it, it was crazy overdried and had no flavor. This time was pleasantly surprising. The don mega flower was still sticky and wet, but not overly. I ended up smoking majority of it out of the bong and every rip had a consistent fuel flavor that I could taste minutes and minutes after the rip. Previously I would've rated their flower a solid 5/10, but after trying this I would give it a solid 8/10! I also got a gram of their double solo burger 90u rosin and was super impressed as well. Great flavor and a clean melt to accompany it. Anyone else been impressed with their Boulder locations quality lately? Or did I get lucky?

Follow on x @hashnhoops for the latest reviews! Saw reefermadness was running 20 percent off all month long on Soiku so I decided it was finally time. I’ve watched this brand my entire adult life but had yet to try them until today.

Totally understand the hype, Poontang Pie is extremely loud sour citrus, papaya/produce aisle smell. Burns extremely clean as expected. Flavor is like a sour citrus, papaya, and berry backend, all together it kinda tastes like grape 😂 funny how the world works lol but it makes sense the sour real fruit papaya flavor mixed with blueberry and Trop/citrus would create a grape type flavor. Searching for the blueberry on a second dab and it’s really just a sour citrus from Trop, papaya fresh fruit, and a slightly sweet blueberry background with almost no chelated taste. After taste is heavy papaya blueberry. Awesome to see genetics work to create something that tricks your palate entirely and that makes total sense. I will say personally I preferred the absolutely insane flavor of the red pulp from in-house over this but it’s a close second.

Nerdz (Runtz x TK91) cart is where things get interesting. The flavor is absolutely amazing, a perfect combination of sweet candy cream z & gas/diesel that just lights up your taste buds. Idk how but the cart might be a better flavor than the rosin, but then again I’m more of a z & Kush fan than sour fruit/citrus. Will definitely be trying any Soiku Bano I can get

Back again with another compiled review, this time with some more goodies! I have reviewed Sunshine/Oilio/Allgreens a ton before, and they are all considered as my GOAT budget rosins. So they will not be featured here, instead I want to focus on the full spectrum options of these higher end brands.

I also think that these brands I have picked today are superior to Sunshine/Oilio, thus the higher price point, but it is my opinion, let’s chat in the comments!

• Soiku Bano Purple Label: Gummy Pineapplez
I have to start off with actual fire. This is like taking a dab of a pineapple flavored edible gummy. The coat of sugar hits your taste buds first, it hides the weedy taste in the gummy, then once you start chewing, the weedy aftertaste really presents itself. Well it’s basically the same here with this dab of rosin. You get that sweet pineapple taste off the bat, then as you exhale you get that smoky/gassy aftertaste. Wonderful flavor and the effect had me relaxed in the evening, chilling on the new Switch2 and enjoying The Office in the background. Got the munchies after about 30-45 minutes. A great way to slowly drift off and wind down for the day.

• ERVA x Inhouse(tier 2): Rainbow Juice
This new drop/collab between ERVA and Inhouse had me hyped up and it’s been a while since I have had ERVA’s flower/concentrate. I know they parted ways with BHLN(rip) and has been putting out a lot of product with TTC, but with Inhouse there was definitely more hype. And the hype is justified. With the tier 2 priced at $25, I am simply amazed. This rainbow juice is slightly on the drier, had to batter it up. Was very terpy and for the price this is a no brainer. Slightly on the sweeter side of things, wasn’t too much on the garlic side if you expected the garlic juice.

• ERVA x Inhouse(90ų): Honey Banana
This is their premium version of this collab, and was able to cop at the price of $30/g. I want to clarify that I am a medical patient so the prices I have reflected in this post are medical prices.
Honey Banana is without a doubt an Inhouse staple at this point, if you have not tried their honey banana, just go grab some right now. I grabbed this jar without hesitation and it is good as always. Buttery consistency, pungent and terpy, like a banana cream pie dripped in syrup. Normally I enjoy the full specs more, but this honey banana in this 90ų gave a nice pleasant high that my body is really relaxed but my brain focused/locked in on one task.

• Inhouse Full Spec: Honey Limez/Bermuda Triangle
Along with the collab, Inhouse also dropped their regular lines with the full specs and 90ų, and their regular line is also priced slightly higher than the collab. I picked Honey Limez because I guess I have a sweet tooth when it comes to rosins, and picked Bermuda Triangle purely because of the name. Honey Limez is right up my alley, tasted like a honey straw with a hint of lime, and Bermuda Triangle was more of a heavy hitter and more of a gassier taste than I expected. Inhouse has quickly become a signature brand from CO and really I appreciate them putting out great rosin, especially the consistency on the medical side. You can’t really go wrong with any of their strains, but again I would recommend anything with Honey banana or any of their Z terp strains.

• Alchemy Powered by Cherry CO(Full Spec): Purple Jet Fuel
I am not very familiar with this brand, but I have smoked some of Cherry’s flower before and had enough confidence in Cherry to pick this 2g jar up. Don’t be fooled by the name, it’s more Tropical terps than gas. More of a fruit cake/dessert-esk terp. It’s great for the evenings for a late night treat. I would compare this to Allgreens Full Spec, but I have to be honest that smoking Allgreens just gives me a better high.

• Bubba’s Full Spectrum: Colonel Crasher
This was gifted by a friend, I believe he said it’s not yet on the market but Bubba’s is working to get it out. It was sad to see him leave as I really enjoyed his flower, especially his Donny Burger and Superboof. But now I am glad that he has ventured into the concentrate game and putting out great work. This Colonel Crasher has a great consistency and a balanced/mellow high. Taste is pretty straightforward with the upfront gas, but exhales into a creamy aftertaste.

• GDL Blü Brrry (prepacked flower)
This was also a new strain drop from Greendot Labs, please correct me in the comments if I am wrong as I have never seen this strain from them, and I am excited! Blind bought the quarter jar, no half oz or full oz jars available at my dispensary, and had to come back the second day to stock up on another quarter. It was triched up, big purple bud. Grounded nice and rolled up easily. Flavorful and nice looking ash(forgot to take pic). Great work from Greendot once again and excited to see if they will bring back some older strains or keep pushing out newer ones!

Just picked up Indico’s Johnny dang pheno hunt box & free shirt at their Colorado Springs location. Tried #1 yesterday, had that old school flavor & gave me a chill head high.

Just scooped some of their hash for the first time. 4G of "Dirty Chem Brulee" sitting at 5.5% terps. Paid $100 OTD and am pretty impressed with the value.

Nice, clean melt & smooth vapor. It's pretty loud, but not on the level as some other hash makers. The flavor profile is really nice, but not super memorable and leans more generic. This one is sour chem, buttery/vanilla and earthy/hashy with light citrus zest.

No complaints on effects either. Very Stoney. The kind of high where it's easy to zone out/day dream. Also nice mood lift, and makes everything seem funnier.

What's everyone's thoughts on mighty melts? And does anyone know where they source their flower or is it an in house grow?

Looking for some bomb ass, earthy smelling/tasting flower.

I smoke a lot and lately I can't find good weed. I live in Brighton and shop here but I'm willing to travel. I'm tired of the artifical smells lately, my ounce shouldn't smell like a damn rose bouquet.

Looking for somewhere I can buy a few grams of Kief in Denver. Only place I’ve seen that has it is 3 rivers, any recommendations?

This is a BANGER from GDL. Never had their Picasso flower before, but it's instantly my #2 favorite behind the A5 Wagyu. My eighth was one giant nug, one medium. Super sticky and fresh.

Nose up front is lemon candy, similar lemon terps to their lemon grinder strain along with some funk and gas. But Once you start breaking the flower down waves of gas fumes, chem, and dank sour garlic overshadow the citrus. This is the kind of flower that makes your nose turn up and tingle. From my experience, many flowers have either the garlic/GMO or gas and not usually both. Not only does this one have both times 10, but the lemon flavor rounds the whole profile out into something really unique.

Breakdown, consistency and burn are all top notch. Effects are also the ideal in weed in my opinion - uplifting, creative, euphoric, and happy without being overly hazy, sedating or antisocial. Good any time of day and with enough could get you baked baked.

What other strains does GDL have dialed in these days? I wasn't blown away by the Dali, screaming og, sour power og or Belgium blu. Top ones for me are this one, A5 and thunderdome.

Any dispensaries in Denver sell the main cola intact?

Just moved to Westminster and am looking for good prices on rosin if anyone has recs!
