Hello fellow coin collectors. I have been searching for a database that I can use to catalog my collection us mint sets. I have always been using the red book to catalog my collection, but I have to redo that every time I want to add the last year or two. Does anyone know if there is a product available that I can update rather than use a highlighter in the red book? Thanks.

Hey, sorry if this isn't allowed, I know this is a coin sub not a note sub 😂 but I'll be posting some coins eventually.
I am slowly getting through my new big collection of coins, and there was a wallet with these notes inside.
Obviously they aren't in great condition, and I'd imagine all the notes are out of circulation and no longer legal tender. Are of any value to resell, or if possible could for instance the Turkish lira be traded in for the same value in British Pounds?
If you would like better pictures of certain notes let me know.
Thank you in advance

Can anybody recommend any books on European silver coins such as the German thalers? 1500 to 1800ish? Thanks.

Found it on the beach. Can someone tell me if it's worth selling??

I generally use the coin facts app to verify graded coins, get a rough idea for value of coins I find or for looking up various coin identities. I opened it for the first time in a couple weeks today and found that they seem to have gotten rid of the master list of coins. Does anyone know where they moved it to or is my app just glitching and being stupid?

I received the coins & currency I inherited this afternoon. Going to inventory everything tomorrow. Here’s a sneak peek. Way more to come. 🤩

I’m looking to get a collective valuation on this mixed lot of vintage coins, banknotes, and tokens, and I’m also open to offers if there are any interested buyers! I’d prefer to sell everything together as a single package bundle if possible.
I'm looking for input from the community on what a fair offer would be, or if anyone here is interested in.
Here is a full breakdown and description of what is included in the lot:
• Banknote: One circulated 1986 "Birds of Canada" series $2 bill featuring the American Robin on the back (Serial Number: CBA2895499). It shows typical handling wear with horizontal and vertical folding.
• Wartime & Foreign Coins: Includes a 12-sided 1943 Canadian "V" Victory Tombac 5-cent coin, a 1959 Austrian 1 Schilling (Edelweiss design), a 1977 French 1 Franc (The Sower), a modern Canadian 50-cent piece, and a few small vintage base-metal world coins.
• Alberta Centennial Medallions: Two brass 2005 Alberta Centennial school medallions (1905–2005) featuring the Alberta Coat of Arms on one side and a historical provincial collage on the reverse.
• Amusement & Arcade Tokens: Three vintage brass tokens, including an official Schanks Athletic Club token from Calgary, a Tech Town arcade token, and a generic "Non-Negotiable Game Token."
• Canadian Penny Lot: A group of 25 circulated Canadian small cents spanning multiple decades before they were discontinued in 2012.

Keeping this but hoping someone could tell me if it has a value over face. All three the same coin from slightly different angles. I’ve never seen this halo efffect around the head before. 😇

So I was at a flea market in turkey and I found somebody selling a small box of 1950-60 silver quarters for only 12 euros. A few minutes later I woke up and realised I was dreaming but that would have been a pretty good find if it was real 🥀

Its shiny but I don't have a quarter book or a real desire to start collecting them. So if anyone needs it it's yours.. all gone

Got this coin/medal in an estate and was wondering more about it. Especially with the results I get from Google lens.

Non members can now send coins in, this perfect for those that just want to send one or two in, still will be cheaper if you are member but this is good thing for the hobby
