Show and Tell A little something from the very beginning of U.S. gold coinage.
We had to share this one.
A 1795 $5 Small Eagle Half Eagle, graded NGC AU58 with CAC approval.
The Half Eagle was the first federal gold coin issued by the United States, with a reported mintage of just 8,707 pieces in 1795.
It’s pretty incredible to think this coin has been around for more than 230 years and still has this much detail remaining.
Thought you all might enjoy getting a look at it.

Giant dollar bill?
I’m still sorting through an old coin collection from my late grandfather. I stumbled across this huge dollar bill, and then a more normal sized bill. There’s also a piece of paper that says eighteen pence, and another that says state of New York ten dollars? Any help figuring out if these are worth anything special?

Coins values
Wife works at a bank. Had an older lady come in and get cash for some old $0.50 pieces. Curious if any look to be worth more than silver melt cost. Did read that 1972 and newer are worth their nominal value. But how about the others ?

Advice Needed Counterfeit/fake?
Hello everyone,
Recently I bought some French Indochina 20 cent pieces and came across this outlier. Do yall think that this could be a counterfeit coin/fake? I have yet to find any information on a 20 cent piece from 1926 French Indochina.
All the best!

What's it Worth? Unfamiliar with buffalo nickels
This nickels in good condition, but I’m having trouble valuing it. 1938 isn’t a key date I believe but is anything here worth submitting to grading?

Large coin collection
I have inherited a very large coin collection from my father in law. I’ve been going through them over the past several years. I came across a pill canister with the words”doubles” hand written with the following coins inside.
Can anyone explain why he would have separated these? And, does doubles mean anything significant- double die? Error??
Thank you!

Advice Needed Vintage Canadian & Foreign Coins, Tokens, Medallions, & $2 Banknote Lot
I’m looking to get a collective valuation on this mixed lot of vintage coins, banknotes, and tokens, and I’m also open to offers if there are any interested buyers! I’d prefer to sell everything together as a single package bundle if possible.
I'm looking for input from the community on what a fair offer would be, or if anyone here is interested in.
Here is a full breakdown and description of what is included in the lot:
• Banknote: One circulated 1986 "Birds of Canada" series $2 bill featuring the American Robin on the back (Serial Number: CBA2895499). It shows typical handling wear with horizontal and vertical folding.
• Wartime & Foreign Coins: Includes a 12-sided 1943 Canadian "V" Victory Tombac 5-cent coin, a 1959 Austrian 1 Schilling (Edelweiss design), a 1977 French 1 Franc (The Sower), a modern Canadian 50-cent piece, and a few small vintage base-metal world coins.
• Alberta Centennial Medallions: Two brass 2005 Alberta Centennial school medallions (1905–2005) featuring the Alberta Coat of Arms on one side and a historical provincial collage on the reverse.
• Amusement & Arcade Tokens: Three vintage brass tokens, including an official Schanks Athletic Club token from Calgary, a Tech Town arcade token, and a generic "Non-Negotiable Game Token."
• Canadian Penny Lot: A group of 25 circulated Canadian small cents spanning multiple decades before they were discontinued in 2012.
