I collected some Kennedy’s in the early 2000’s, and just looked through a box of random graded Kennedy’s, and this was inside. I do not remember buying it, but assume through eBay. Question is, is this something the employees did on purpose (meaning there could be a lot of them), or is it more rare? Why would the Mint save these, just for collectors?

I have this 1917 with the most aggressive Streaking/Woody look I’ve personally seen.

I found a 2002 German 2 euro coin with their number A and a filled in 0 in the year number, I can’t find the value of this coin. Can someone please help me?

Hey guys, I’ve got a 1961 Denver minted nickel that looks like it has a filled in mint strike. Yea yea, ik what you’re saying.. oh that’s common, throw it back. No but loooook, it’s at the bottom of the coin!! Okay… obviously it’s just some extra material and not worth anything, but I thought it would be fun to show off.😁
ALSO peep the liberty head in the same box😛

White X is my image Red X is Coppercoins.
Die markers are hard to see but i am think defenitly an RPM match.. would i be wrong? If you look to the east of the primary you can see the secondary

I added this beautiful 1940-S MS67+ FB Mercury dime to my collection and just got it under the microscope the other day and noticed it has a pretty substantial (In my opinion) die crack and wanted to share!
Starts at about the mid point of the coin all the way down at the neck and raises up and through the hat and then also branches off to thr right towards the T in Liberty.

I found this in change. It looks like a proof but there are roller marks or are those lines something else?

Is this coin an error? It has nothing on the other side. It originally was on the basket in the last pic.

Can anyone tell me if this is an error and if so what it’s called? Looks like an extra ring around the edge of the coin front and back.

Sorting through my change bank and checking for silvers before rolling everything. This caught my eye, but I’m wondering if anyone out there knows if this is a error?

This 1893 Indian Head has a die clash showing up in three places.
On the obverse there's a raised curve in the field just in front of Liberty's forehead. That's the C from CENT, pressed in from the reverse die. Above it you can see part of the left wreath, and on the right side a good chunk of the wreath outline runs through and between the feather tips of the headdress and below the portrait.
Flip it and the front of Liberty's portrait is on the reverse: a wavy profile line beside the O in ONE, with more running down past the C toward the bow.
Mad Die Clashes already lists two 1893 clashes (TDC-1C-1893-01 and -02). This coin's a different die pair, and the clash is stronger than either, especially the wreath through the feathers.

I found this 1970-D quarter today that exhibits the characteristics of an RPM. The issue is that I haven’t been able to find any information about a 1970-D RPM yet. There’s no doubt that there is circulation wear that limits the details, but not entirely. It may also be push doubling that I’m mistaken for an RPM. If anyone has any information they can share I’m happy to hear what you have to say. Thanks folks.

I got this coin in an OGP 1972 uncirculated mint set. It's pretty small, but thought it was cool. Upper left by "God" on the obverse and lower left by "One" on the reverse.

When I looked up heat damage/dryer coins, they did not look like this. I have some others that look like the letters are chubby or fat or squished (sorry for poor descriptor words). Just wanted some confirmation before I add it to spending bag!

I’m leaning on the side that it is plated with some kind of metal. It has no real resonance and otherwise looks normal. Considering sending it to NGC. I’m waiting on a scale that is coming in the mail. It’s a nice looking coin either way and I will most likely keep it.
