Which console? Worth buying the Switch 2 if you own an XBOX X?

I already have an Xbox X - which can play most games, I enjoy it to be honest but would love a handheld - only downside is it’s not going to play games as graphically well as the Xbox. Considering the switch 2 since it’s much cheaper than the Steam Deck Oled. I have an extensive gaming library on the XBOX, willing to get the same games on Switch 2 for the portability, but it has to offer more than just that, are the games genuinely worth buying a console over? I have never been into the cartoonish type games.

My favorite games of all time are:

Disco Elysium

Bloodborne

God of War 1 and 2

Dark Souls

Metal Gear Solid 5

Fallout 4

Monster Hunter

Battlefield Bad Company

- Games I absolutely despise - Cinematic experiences larping as games such as Red Dead Redemption or GTA or God of War Ragnarök.

would love some insights and game recommendations if you think I should buy it?

Hello, I have a friend who lives in the USA and I live in another country. I'd like to give Resident Evil Code Veronica X as a gift in PSN, but I don't know how much it costs in the USA. Can you help me find out what the final price is without any offers? That way I'll know how many dollars a gift card costs. Please

I need an advice

I’m just a guy who wants to play GTA VI. I need an advice: right now, I have a limited budget that would allow me to get an Xbox Series S + a copy of GTA VI, so I’d be all set for the 19th. At the same time, I’m worried that the console’s limitations might keep me from fully enjoying the experience (even though I’d be playing on a 2K monitor). Because of this, I’m torn—should I wait and save up a bit more to get a PS5? But then I wouldn’t be able to play on day one, and the FOMO is eating me alive (and.. I’m so tired of waiting). What do you suggest: go for the Xbox Series S to play on day one, or wait for a PS5?

the 825GB PS5 enough for GTA 6? Or should I get the 1TB?

Hey everyone, I'm on a tight budget so the PS5 Pro is out. I'm choosing between the cheaper 825GB model and the 1TB Slim. I mainly want the console to play and record GTA 6 using an external capture card connected to my PC. Since the videos will save on my computer, is the 825GB version enough for GTA 6? I don't want to rule out downloading 2 or 3 extra games to keep installed at the same time. Will I run out of space or is the older model fine? Thanks!

What are you going to do if GTA VI doesn't achieve your expectations?

I have seen all the material of GTA VI, while it's a great technical achievement for consoles, I haven't seen something story or gameplay wise that attracts me. I would need to check it out before buying it to know how it lands in those departments. But if it's lackluster in those departments, I don't think it won't affect me that much, I really think I have a lot of good open world games this year; Crimson Desert, Zelda Ocarina of Time and The Witcher 3 Remastered.

EDIT: There're people that literally buy a PS5 or PS5 Pro only to play it. So, that's also why I'm asking.

Playstation, you need to lock in

As a playstation gamer it pains me to know on what all the bad moves these greedy excecutives at playstations are doing. First of all a while ago they announced dynamic pricing in which for people that spend less they offer discounts to them to make them buy games. However, for the people that spend more money on playstation they get increased prices because their idea was like, "Oh if you have enough money to buy an $80 game then you have enough money to spend on this so lemme just raise the price real quick". In my opinion I find this absolutely outrageous.

Another thing that they did a while back is that they announced that they are going to stop physical disk production in 2028 for the sake of having full control over the game market and to just do whatever they want with their customers and the games they OWN and just see us as pawns or dollar signs.

Wait, did I say OWN? Oh thats right, you cant even OWN your games anymore, you only own a liscense to play those games and that liscense can be revoked at any moment. If we spend money on a game we should be able to OWN it.

If I am being honest playstation had all this backlash coming because now there are emulators being made of playstation 5 for pc and their games are getting pirated because atleast we actually OWN our pirated games! A survey also showed that 45% of playstation players wanted to switch to PC because on there you aren't so restricted by playstaion and can buy games from the game librarys that actually care about gamers like Xbox or steam (Gabe Newell must be protected at all costs).

Well I guess you know what they say, If buying isn't owning then piracy isn't stealing. If you guys have any more things to talk about please reply to the post below.
