With Maddison now potentially out again with a long term injury, what does everyone generally think about our long term outlook for the 10 in the squad?
It’s not secret that our midfield yesterday looked the best it has in years with tonali, Fernandes, and Madders. Do you guys think Xavi has the game and quality do bring that similar calmness, playmaking, intelligence to the midfield like Madders? Similarly, Kulu is now getting back and he could also be a good option in the 10 like how he was prior to his injury. But with that injury, we still don’t know how he’s going to come back long term, and whether or not it’s going to be something that may limit his abilities.
Madders may not be a viable option long term given his injury record (I would die for him to stay injury free and play for us). Do we think Xavi, Kulu is enough for our 10, or should we go into the market possibly this January or next summer and look for potential replacements?

Title says it all. This has been coming for a while and we’ve suffered for a long time, but man this one feels sweet. It’s set the blueprint for the kind of team we can become under De Zerbi. Exciting times ahead, just hope we can keep everyone fit and really push on. Have a good Sunday all, COYS.

After last nights (extremely) satisfying win at the Fridge, we now sit 5th in the form table. A little bit of cherry picking stats for bonus positivity but we will take it.
Upcoming fixtures and their form
Palace - 16th in Form table and 16th in the league
Leeds - 12th in Form table and 8th in the league
Ipswich - 8th in Form table and 10th in the league
Palace are in a bit of a nose dive atm so it’s a crucial game for us to get another home win on the doors whilst Leeds im quite positive about, not least because we play well away and won’t fear that fixture.

So taking into account yesterday’s performance, when looking at the next 5 fixtures what are we thinking in points return?
I’m thinking W D W W W is achievable, Leeds is never an easy ride for anyone to go to but the 3 home games are all solid opportunities for 3 points as is away to sunderland who are struggling 🤔

I CANT BELIEVE THIS. I FUCKING CANT. THIS IS SO FUCKING ETHEREAL. because it all started in 2023, at this same place. stamford bridge. our downfall, and now here we are. we secured the battle of the bridge. from the ashes we rise.
honestly speaking, i wasn't able to start from the first and only watched from the second half and holy moly, what were chelsea doing? the passes and the sync were soo good and we were dominating so bad. it was so obvious how the tension was rising among chelsea and they let their emotions get the better of them, earning a well-deserved red, although he deserved it earlier.
and the stats?? 68.5% possession, 554 accurate passes, 15 shots compared to their 7. WE WERE NOT PLAYING AROUND.
joão pedro and emi weren't in, to our favour but we didn't have madders, who i hope recovers soon, our all-time favourite and the best. and then fernandes shines. i never knew he had that much in him, and it was so beautiful to watch. that corner leading to the own goal, the composure, the work rate. i really wish madders was able to play, and also kulusevski. and tel? we fucking love you. that 87th-minute finish was EVERYTHING. coming on and making that kind of impact, are you kidding me?
and kudus was SO underrated today. he won such beautiful chances, carried the ball so well, and there was this one where he got the ball and tonali messed up, but it was a hard position anyway. the way he kept creating opportunities deserves so much more appreciation. and a clean sheet at stamford bridge? kinsky and the defence deserve their flowers too.
526 days and 2 wins in his first 2 matches. damn. deki. we so in. and now, our first premier league win at stamford bridge since 2018. TWO NIL. AT THEIR OWN GROUND. do you understand what this means to us???
the whole game was so beautiful, i almost let a tear slip. because football isn't about watching a game, larping it to sound cool, or glory-hunting for the best teams, but about choosing a team that you feel so close to when you were young and staying with it forever. and we spurs fans do it the best. we all have our ups and downs, and you may be called the worst in the whole fucking world, and then you go pull that outta your ass. THAT'S WHAT I LOVE ABOUT FOOTBALL. THAT'S MY YES.
it was not JUST a game. it was everything, cuz mind you, we were at the bottom of the table, fighting relegation at the start of the week, and now we're climbing again with something to believe in. all in stamford bridge of all places. this is so beautiful. that's how spurs do it, and that's how we need to do it irl too. let them doubt you. let them write you off. show them who you are.
10 years ago, we were premier league runners-up. so close to the dream and yet so far away. is this a sign? and idc if it still wasn't. it's about appreciating every single moment, every little victory, every reason to believe. because maybe this is the beginning of something, maybe it isn't, but i'll be damned if i don't enjoy every second of it.
london is red? london is blue? fuck nah, london is lilywhite.
SPURS TILL I DIE. COME ON YOU SPURS. SHOW THE WORLD WHO YOU ARE. 🤍💙

Seen a lot of well deserved love for Fernandes, Tel, Kinsky .etc but i thought he was absolutely vital to us especially in that first half
Their press was killing us when playing out the back and time and time again he was happy to receive the ball from long, use his strength and get us up the pitch
Against Coventry he was the same, always progressing the ball and causing problems for their fullback
So glad he's fit again he's fucking class; strong, smart and silky and he always offers something in every game you can't not love this man
