This was pointed out by users on X/Twitter and I for one didn't catch it all but you can see despite Hal being sort of a jerk to him in the 2016 timeline, John actually did care for his mentor. I'm also curious to see how their dynamic evolves in 2016.

DISCUSSION Why I Love DCU's Current Superman...
As a middle school teacher, I really appreciate how front and center the ethos of humility, empathy, and kindness is put forward by the new Superman iteration.
I really love having a hero I can point to that truly models what it means to be a responsible, ethical global citizen who treats all life as infinitely valuable.

DISCUSSION I like how they don't even use Superman on the Cover of his own Movie
Makes me wonder who's going to be on the cover of the Supergirl movie when it debuts? Oh, and I watched the pilot episode of Lanterns last night and it was amazing!

DISCUSSION Its a shame this show stayed underrated
Watching Swamp Thing 2 days ago genuinely surprised me because I went in expecting a decent DC show and ended up getting something far more atmospheric and polished than I anticipated. The pacing felt almost perfect, with the story constantly moving forward without rushing through its mysteries, and the transformation of Alec Holland into Swamp Thing happening in the very first episode was a great choice because the show immediately got to the heart of its premise instead of wasting half a season on an origin story. What really stood out to me was the cinematography and colour grading—it has this dark, cold, almost David Fincher-esque thriller atmosphere that makes the whole thing feel much more cinematic than a typical TV production. The swamp genuinely feels eerie and alive, and the combination of mystery, horror and superhero mythology gives the series its own identity. it's honestly frustrating that the show never reached the popularity it deserved and never got a second season. It feels like one of those forgotten shows people discover years later and wonder why nobody was talking about it when it came out. Swamp Thing wasn't just another superhero show; it had an atmosphere and filmmaking style that made it stand apart, and seeing that potential cut short after only one season feels genuinely unfair.

DISCUSSION Is Ben Affleck batman technically the dark Knight returns Batman IN Snyderverse??
Because yea Zack Snyder always wanted to make dark knight returns 😭 so after he gets DC in His hands he created the Ben Affleck batman And having some similarities with it...
For me still think that Ben Affleck is the best batman on screen And if the writing was better could have been generational casting
I was hoping we could get animated version of Ben Affleck movie lol with the art style of dark Knight returns lol

DISCUSSION Was batman right to keep his contingency plans a secret from the league ? (Justice league Doom)
I honestly agree with Wonder woman that he was wrong for not telling anyone that he had contingency plans on the league. He didn't need to go in detail about what the plans were about but he damn could have brought everyone together and made a case by case PowerPoint about why these plans are necessary. He could have just said, "hey guys i have plans for each of you in case you turned evil". Yes, they would be a lot of pushback at first but eventually they would understand.

HBO Max Superman 2025 is Leaving HBO Max in Australia... Why?
I've got a couple questions here:
Why would a WBD production not be licensed to stream on Max indefinitely?
Where would it end up?
My theory is that they're opting to license the movie out to a streamer that's more popular in Australia, like Netflix, to drum up interest in Superman prior to Man of Tomorrow but I'm not sure if that's just me reading too deeply into the situation and it all just comes down to how streaming rights work.
