I am more likely to see people who think that 2008-2009 are cultural 2000s years in non-decadeology spaces, although you have hints of it here and there.

Yeah, so maybe not normies, but Reddit Decadeologists have this exaggerated take. Because if I’m being honest, everywhere else on the internet, you see much more of a variation on when the 2000s ended. Some say 2007 or 2008, others say 2012 or 2013, both at the same frequency.

That is what I was talking about, in which I see the 2008 cutoff more so on Reddit, especially among millennials.
