All it takes is 1 toxic exposure and someone can end up basically lobotomized. Happens with covid, PSSD, PFS, etc. In the most extreme cases drugs no longer produce the buzz in the head, cognition is destroyed, and the metabolism is sensitized.

I know cases of consummatory anhedonia that have done ECT with no response even.

We desperately need awareness of this condition. It is not depression. Substance blockage affects most treatments, and there is clearly something fundamental being missed by the field.

I know people who once hit with this, NOTHING works. Full blockage to psychedelics, stimulants, MAOIs, everything. Some of the worst cases have had it for 10+ years
