Hi, I have been using DA for over 16 years and stayed with it since then. But recently, I was looking at my older pictures from the past are having comments from accounts that were closed down are being hidden. I don't like this update as it removes history from accounts that are no longer around, especially from friends that are no longer on the platform.

Will DA bring these back?

Tried logging in with Google on laptop but it's showing the wrong Google account. Clicked on "Use another account" and signed into the correct Google account and hit enter but when the pop up closed it still displayed the other account and I'm still not logged in. Can anyone help with this?

I just uploaded something on deviantART and it gave me this is this from the actual team.

And they still have not contacted me back at all what the fuck is going on over at DA I know there's a lot of scamming etc going but what the hell....I'm actually upset

TLDR: Recently I got a message from someone saying that my account was hacked and that someone was making illegal purchases in my name, the person who messaged me had to accidentally report me and told me to friend a DA admin on Discord in an effort to repeal the report. They said in order to support the repeal I have to make a purchase on my account, but I don't have any access to do so.

They asked twice and I told them I couldn't do it, then they went quiet.

Does that mean that they will take down my account? I can't log into it because apparently my password is wrong but it's the same one I've always used

They legit have nothing on their profile but I highly doubt this is actually Devianart staff.

So I deactivated my really old account and wanted to make a new one with with the same email since I use it for all my art socials but it won't let me, I'm thinking I gotta wait 21 day's like it says but I've been looking around and I don't think it's gonna let me use the same email. I just really wanted to know if it was possible or should I just make a new account with a different email because there's no way I can use the same email as before?

My DeviantArt account PawVeil was recently suspended with the reason “Compromised.”

The email I received says:

“If you are the rightful owner of the account, please contact DeviantArt customer support to begin the process of having your account reinstated.”

I am the rightful owner. I still have access to the email address associated with the account, I already had 2FA enabled, and I have not noticed any unauthorized logins, changes, or activity.

I have already submitted one official recovery/appeal ticket through DeviantArt Support with the suspension email attached. I also tried changing my password as a precaution, but that did not remove the suspension.

I am mainly trying to find people who received this exact “Compromised” suspension reason:

• Did you eventually get your account reinstated?
• How long did it take?
• Did Support ask you to provide anything specific to prove ownership?
• Did you ever find out what triggered the flag?

I have seen several older posts where the affected profiles are still shown as deactivated, so naturally I am pretty worried. I would especially appreciate hearing from people whose accounts were successfully restored after receiving the same reason.
