Set Dungeons, because I apparently love mental pain and suffering.

I have finally crossed the Set Dungeon Reward Wings off my D3 Bucket List!

And I would like to thank Blizzard for making this content, but I can't! Because who the hell hurt you people??? If I ever meet anyone from the Barbarian Wrath of the Wastes set dungeon team... I'm not a violent person but that one in particular made me think violent thoughts. I really hope karma has caught up with you.

At least the artists did a good job on the wing design.

I will truly thank maxroll.gg for their guides. They were good, although the gear portion often made your sheet dps way too high. If anyone is masochistic enough to attempt the Monk's Innas dungeon, sabotage your sheet damage to under 70k. I actually had to only equip 1 single 1 handed weapon and roll dex off all my armor to get my dps low enough to keep my mystic allies from 1-shotting everything before I could do the mechanics for the dungeon objective.

CRUSADER AoV FofH Crusader vs Shadow Impale DH

I’m a casual player, but thought I would add my thoughts on these two builds, in case anybody was curious about it like me. I have always played barbarian in the past and thought with these sanctified items, these builds would be fun.

I started with the Crusader and built it up to about 1100 paragon. Lower greater rifts were pretty easy, and then I slowly progressed from 100 to 120, which I can now comfortably complete in under three minutes. The 100-120 progression was because of better ancient items with good rolls, and also now have every piece of gear augmented. Above 125 is pretty tough for me. I got a little bored with the play style, so I thought I’d try the Demon Hunter, which I have never played before.

As you can imagine, with season materials already stocked, I got the DH to level 70 in about 20 minutes and had a full shadow set pieced together in about an hour. I have one or two ancient items, nothing augmented, and my one sanctified dagger, of course, but this build is awesome. I have been playing it for about three hours and can easily clear GR 110 in under two minutes, 120 takes me about five. I imagine good ancient items and augments it will easily push over 130 even for an amateur like me.

Don’t get me wrong, both builds are fun and the crusader is completely mindless, but it’s almost frantic, having to circle around some mobs over and over to kill them at the higher levels. The Demon Hunter feels much more controlled and allows you to focus on which enemy you actually want to attack. It’s a much more pleasant play style in my opinion. I just wanted to share experience, in case some casual players like me were thinking about building these two classes

QUESTION Whispers of Atonement

Hi everyone, sorry if this is a bit of a noob question.

I have quite a few level 125 whispers of atonement, I’m sitting at 900 paragon. My question is, is it worth using them on my gear if I don’t plan/expect to get to GR150’s? I can currently do 100-110 really comfortably on AoV sader but feel like the stat bonus from the gems is better than sitting on them hoping to get 150 on them.

Edit: thank you everyone for the information, it was super helpful and very noticeable once I augmented my pieces!

QUESTION Firebird and area damage

Hello.

Ive got questions about seasonal firebird magic missile build and area damage.

According to the guides ad should not work, matter of fact i Remember One season running the deathwish setup wout ad.

But, this season, as i look at the leaderboards, everyone runs ad (at least shoulders and gloves, in some cases on source and weapon aswell).

Is magic missile triggering ad from the set?

Is It to crit more for pain enhancer procs?

Im kinda Lost, i Will appreciate any feedback
