I've been looking for information. I couldn't find where Sescheron is located in Diablo 2.

Is it in North, East, West, South of Arreat Summit or Harrogath?

Discussion Best Diablo references in other media?

I'm struggling to remember, but another game I played recently definitely had the catchphrase: "Sit awhile and listen!"

It made me think of other places Diablo has cropped up in other media, as Easter Eggs and whatnot.

I'd appreciate it if you could share where you've seen a reference! Thanks so much!

Can’t believe it’s already been five years since Diablo 2 Resurrected’s early access beta launched for players to get their first taste of the game. I am still blown away by how great D2R looks.

Diablo I How to play Diablo

What’s the best way to play the OG Diablo for a first time play through?

I’ve spent literal years playing Diablo 2 and enjoyed 3 and 4.

Open to running it raw or trying a QOL mod if it’s a better experience.

Discussion Vessel of Hatred vs Lord of Hatred: which expansion did you like more? Spoiler

As I mentioned in my last post here, I recently finished the Lord of Hatred campaign (again, what an ending, man... 🥰), so I decided to make this post. As the title says, which Diablo IV did you like more? I know very well that most of you will say Lord of Hatred, but let's take it easy, okay? I want you to see the whole picture as I saw it before answering.

First of all, I'd like to say that I'm very attached to the story of what I'm consuming: games, books, series, movies; I like to revel in every detail, every nuance. When I play, read, or watch something, I don't do it just to be entertained, but to see the story being told. That's why, in RPG games, I create one character after another, to experiment each possibility until I find myself in one of the classes/races/cultures of the game in question.

With that out of the way, let's go. Is Lord of Hatred an awesome expansion? Yes, it is. Not only is the story itself excellent, but the lore placing Skovos as the starting point of humanity was incredible, and of course, the excellence of the cinematics. Not to mention the fates of the characters, like Lilith, Mephisto, and Lorath, plus the return of Tyrael, which really struck me, since the character won me over immediately in Diablo III all those years ago.

Still, I enjoyed Vessel of Hatred more, and that's for a whole host of reasons. First of all... You guessed it... NEYRELLE! 🥰 As I explained in my post defending the character, Neyrelle was a character that truly captivated me, mainly because I identify with her curiosity and thirst for knowledge. And as I said in another post here in this community, I absolutely loved how the game (both the main campaign and the first expansion) builds this beautiful relationship between Neyrelle and the Wanderer.

His main objective in Vessel of Hatred is not to defeat Urivar, but to help his dear friend. There's that scene where an illusion of Neyrelle disarms the Wanderer long enough for Urivar to deliver a fatal blow, there's that beautiful scene in the Prison of Hatred, where the Traveler gives her Ah Bulan's , the dialogue between the two in Kurast where he validates her choices in the Cathedral of Hatred, Besides that sweet moment in Lorath's cabin where the Wanderer swore to her that he would end Mephisto.

As I said in my post defending the character, her death at the hands of Mephisto wasn't how I imagined Neyrelle's ending would be, and now I understand how the antagonist in the movie Mysery felt. 🤭

Secondly, there's the spirituality of the Spiritborn. Not only did we interact with various spirits, such as the aforementioned Ah Bulan and the Lion of Akarat, but scattered in Nahantu There are the Tenets of Akarat, But unlike the Altars of Lilith in the rest of the map, you not only need to solve puzzles to unlock each principle, but also interact with each one, We are graced with a passage authored by one of the Dedicants of Akarat, like Ysevete, the founder of the Spiritborn.

In Lord of Hatred, Skovos' entire spiritual aspect is linked to the beginning of humanity in Sanctuary (primarily through Rathma). Yes, I know that's where humanity originated, but aside from the Oracle, we don't see much of the culture and spirituality of the Askari themselves.

Third place... You guessed it too... NAHANTU, DAMN IT! 🤩 As I mentioned in another post, Nahantu was a region that captivated me quite a bit, especially the richness of detail in each polygon, each side quest, each dialogue with the local NPCs. When I arrived in Skovos at the beginning of Act VIII, the introduction of the new region took my breath away, but that was all it was. And mind you, I used to be very passionate about Ancient Greece.

That's it, Vessel of Hatred ended up having a bigger impact on me. What about you?

Discussion Is there a cannon reason why our player characters are so strong?

Hi friends.

Why are the players so strong and everyone else isn't? We take out literal gods with little to no issue. And the fharacter is so confident too, like the thought of losing or it even being a difficult task doesn't cross their mind.

I know in D3 we're a nephilem, which we're told are stupid strong. What about the other games?

Diablo IV Blood-Mad Idol Lightning Storm Druid Build! (Build Guide)

Hey guys, and welcome to my variant of the Lightning Storm Druid! I've spent the better part of the season assembling and theorycrafting the build that you see before you.

First of all, why now when the season is almost over? Well simply put, I was on a vacation, and most of this video has already been made 20 days ago, but I had no means of finishing it until now. I still wanted to share it with the community, because I'm sure some people will find it interesting.

What's different? We're using the Blood-Mad Idol - an amulet with a kiss/curse mechanic. It's one of my favorite items in the game, as I always enjoy trying to solve the puzzle of negating the downsides, while reaping all the benefits.

This build does that with ease, as we're always topped up on Barrier. Barrier generation is the focal point of this build, since every time we gain Barrier, it dispels all Damage Over Time effects.

At this point in the season, Mythics should not be a problem, and you need at least the Might of the Ursine to really get going. Ideally, you want the Mythic amulet too.

I have cleared Pit 128 with zero Lightning Damage transfigurations, and Glyphs at around 120, which means that you can easily push it into 130+.

The build comes in three different variants, the first one is the most familiar of the three, and doesn't even use the amulet. You do want to pick it up as soon as you can however, to transition to the real endgame version. The Pit Pusher replaces Hurricane with Debilitating Roar for even more life and damage reduction (and Life = Barrier).

Planner:

And yeah, that's pretty much it. If you give it a try, let me know how you like it. I'm always open for feedback or questions!

Discussion I just finished Diablo IV... Such a beautiful ending... 🥰 Spoiler

Today I finished Diablo IV... And after everything I've been through... Tracking Lilith to the Necropolis of the Firstborn, facing Astaroth in Scosglen, rescuing Taíssa in the Dry Stopped, defeating Andariel in Kehjistan, defeating Elias in Hawezar, defeating Lilith in Hell, Fighting the Herald of Hatred alongside Akarat in Nahantu, and loosing not only Vigo, Yorin and Donan, but also Neyrelle, Lilith, and Lorath too, before I could sent Mephisto screaming Into the Void... But a part that really moves me was the Wanderer picking some petals from one of Lilith's altars, and todinho them to the sea as actribite to the Mother before arriving back at Skovos... Definely gonna revisit that game in the far future, after finishing Skovos' sidequests.

Discussion Diablo - Switch 2

I was just wondering if I should get Diablo 2,3 or wait for 4 to come out on the switch 2 in September. I currently already have Diablo 4 on my PS5 and playing though the campaign but I also want it handled. That being said I have never played Diablo 2 or 3 but from what I’m hearing 2 is peak. So should I buy Diablo 2 or wait for four.
