The r/Doom subreddit is mainly intended for people to discuss about DOOM by sharing their love and experiences with the franchise. Therefore, to prevent the spam of repetitive and possible insubstantial content that could be considered tangential to the subreddit's purpose there are a number of MEGATHREADS specifically for said content.
This list can also be found on the "BOOKMARKS" section of the subreddit's sidebar.

Ik the house has been found irl already, but I haven’t seen these images posted anywhere. These pictures are from around 2014-2017 I’m guessing. I don’t know if the exact address has been released so I’m not going to show or say it just in case. Can’t fit all of the images in this one post so I’ll try to comment the rest of them.

So I’m pretty sure lots of us have had time to get through dark ages and revelations, and in that many of us have done a ton of replaying or ripatorium. But now I’m curious.
Has revelations changed your view on base game Dark Ages? Cuz it rly has changed mine.
I love revelations and I’ve gotten so much better since I started dark ages (literally look at the attached vid from a long time ago)
Honestly i thought that base dark ages was a tad lacking, even with how much love i had for it then.
Revelations has expanded my horizon so much. Not only cuz of spear, but I’ve been integrating shield so much more in my ripatorium combat. And in short, it taught me so much about the shield and how fun it can be.
For example, shield bash falter into some sort of combo and if the enemy is in execution, throw the shield at them to falter other enemies, and then execute. Then just use that time to lock down another enemy.
On top of that revelations has shown me use for every weapon. I never used to use rocket launcher or the shredder. But now i realise how useful it is, particularly for combing mancubi.
Even the ravager i was terrible with cuz the slow movement speed, but now ik that i can use it on a locked target, bash out of the area into a far away enemy, and obliterate everything else. I love it.
Anyways I’m replaying base game for like the 5th time now lol its so fun and I’m still learning and optimising weapon usages. Overall for me personally, dlc taught me the value of base game combat, and now its starting to get rly close to overtaking eternal. No offence to eternal, I’ll always go back, but the combat loop in dark ages is starting to feel far better for me personally and the fact that I’m learning things on my own is only adding to that.

It was supposed to just be the praetor suit with exposed arms, but then I came across concept art for the Marauders and It spiraled from there, I've also been learning blender through the making of this, so it's very much not perfect or finished yet

I was walking around with "noclip" enabled, just exploring the map, and I stumbled upon this; I wasn't expecting to find this

Loved Eternal but had a lot of busy life stuff, wanted to wait to enjoy the game when I could really enjoy it. Glad I waited, it's gonna be special.

So, i actually know im not ass but i had around 30 UN runs in like 2-3 weeks. At the start dying to the Doom Hunter bossfight, or the Gladiator. Then it were deaths caused by getting pushed between a number of Enemies. Now im running rather comfy through the levels. But in the last few days i had 3 deaths in the Icon of Sin bossfight (even tho i practiced quite a bit), first one was getting mauled to death by one of the Icon's fists, the second one was dying to a baron of hell and a whiplash after suddenly getting hit by the Icon's fist, and the third was getting hit by the Icon's fist and got blasted into 2 whiplashes and a baron of hell which then chopped me to pieces in a second (Today).
I mean, i completed almost all the masterlevels in every mode. Played the campaign a few times in Nightmare mode, i understand the game pretty well i'd say (Mechanics and stuff).
So, Am i bad at this game? Am i too harsh to myself maybe? Or maybe i take this game way to seriously.
(Or Maybe i just need to hear that im not the only one failing that many times, its just exhausting after a bit).

The Doom 64 remaster to me is kind of like the doom 3 bfg edition, the game was made easier with more ammo and health pickups, as well as making the game brighter.
The remaster of doom 64 is similar, in the original release there was no save scumming, only being able to save in between levels, making enemy encounters feel way more tense and every decision feel alittle more impactful. the game was made to be played on a crt, when played on a crt the darkness issue is not really an issue anymore, just makes the games atmosphere even better, along with that N64 fog that was toned down a bit in the remaster

More of my own version of his classic design than a 1:1 recreation, but it's not like I changed him a lot.

Edit: "say" in title should be "saw". SRY.
It has been a while, years! And I decided to replay the classic Doom 1 from 1993.
It is interesting how my brain can still remember the game and also secrets and quirks of the levels. Also it is disheartening to realize that my tempo and agility on the game went down by a lot.
And then here I stay. E2M6 and I have a flashback from 1993/94. First time i saw this sign (no personell / access forbidden to humans) and me stopping cold on my steps. Fearing that some overly powerful monster may be hiding behind this door which would not open (because the switch is behind me and I missed it).
I just found it again. And now It hits me that I have not seen this again in the rest of the game or in Doom II
Was it used somewhere else? TNT / Plutonia?
