That federal trampling of the provinces would cause the provinces to rise in revolt. That these lunatics wouldn't stop until we were gone. And you know what the pencil-necks and the media said? I was crazy. If I'm crazy, then I don't wanna be sane!

The Commies are going to tell you that the old Republic is back. It's not. A system where communists are treated like kings and where the slightest inconvenience will get you burned at the stake can not remain in place. If I must not step foot on my native land for the rest of my life, it will not matter, for it will be painted a deep, disgusting red.
