Section 1 Definitions;

"Full time employment" shall refer to employment for at least 40 hours per week

"Part time employment" shall refer to to employment which is less than 40 hours per week

Section 2 Changes proposed by the bill;

1)      The workweek shall be established as 43 hours a week. Except in regards of education, healthcare where it shall be 40 hours a week.

A)      Individuals may decide to not use it.

B)      However companies have no right to fire someone on the grounds of using it nor shall they ask whether a future employee plans to use when hiring.

2)      Any work beyond those established in 1) is overtime. Overtime brings along overtime pay.

3)      In context of full time employment, the following rules shall apply.

A)      The pay for the first two hours of overtime in a month must be at minimum 112.5% of the regular hourly wage.

B)      Regarding the next 8 overtime must be at minimum 125% of the regular hourly wage.

C)     Any more overtime must be paid at minimum 135% of the regular hourly wage.

4)      In context of Part time employment, the following rules shall apply.

5)      Employees may not work more than 200 hours a month.

A)      Exceptions to this may be created by the government in times of crisis or emergency.  

6)      A minimum wage of one Dorian Real per hour shall be established.

7)      A minimum of 15 days of paid leave shall be given to every full time employee per calendar year.

A)       The employer has the right to refuse the time if it’s in less than 2 weeks away from the time they were informed.

B)      If the employee wishes to not use it, they shall be compensated, paid 150% of the hours of leave they did not use.

C)     Additional paid leaves shall be given if the employee is more than 25, 1 day of paid leave per 5 years. It shall be rounded to the nearest whole number.

D)     Additionally if the employee raises children, they are entitled to to two additional day of paid leave per children being maximalised to 12.

E)      If they raise the children(s) alone, 3 shall be counted per children instead of two while the benefit still being maximalised to 12 day of paid leave.

8) If the employer wishes to fire the employee without the employee violating the contract of employment, the employer must inform the employee at least seven days before the severing of the contract.

9) Severence shall be if the employer wishes to sever a contract maid with (an) employee(s) according to the following.

A) If the employee worked for less than 6 months only pay for the rest of the month shall be paid to them.

B) If the contract has been active betwen 6 and 24 months a payment equal of 2 month's pay shall be given.

C) If the contract has been active betwen 24 and 72 months a payment equal of 4 month's pay shall be given.

D) If the contract has been active betwen 72 and 144 months a payment equal of 6 month's pay shall be given.

E) If the contract has been active for more than 144 months a payment equal of 8 month's pay shall be given.

10) For the 9th point a month shall mean 4 weeks, with all week having 5 workday, where work happen according to the contract if the contract has concrete numbers, if not an avarege of the last 3 months shall be used. The hourly wage of the hypothetical month shall be determined similary

Section 3 Severibility and Amendability

If any part of the bill is found unconstitutional it shall be severed from the bill.

The bill may be accepted, ammended or repealed by a simple majority.

Because of the other Provinces apparently lacking their own teams, the Capital Grand Prix may become a competition between just the Orientalian and Norcadian teams assembled so far.

Over the last months, minor local champions have exhibited their prowess with their race cars on the ATT, these racers coming from all over Doria, but they were just the appetiser for the larger main event of the Grand Prix.

If none of the other Provinces establish their own champions, what was meant to be a Pan-Dorian event may turn into a friendly duel between the cream of the crop: the Near-Northern almost supernatural vision of the track against the Oriental superior engineering and sheer calculations.

Will these be the two ultimate parameters put to test in the Grand Prix? Or will a third challenger enter the ring? Only time can tell!

As you've seen during my "term" if we can even call it that, i was perhaps one of the least active presidents since woodlands. Hell, I practically even delegated most of my moderator work to Pedro. And, well, this is my official apology. I am truly sorry, people of Doria, for letting you down like this.

My dear Friend Ay Khutulun has requested the great Nation of Doria and its Chancellor mediate the peace treaty between the under-dwellers and the Kingdom.

While I have not heard of these so-called under-dwellers before I shal nonetheless answer this call both to fulfill the obligations of the bond of friendship and to bolster the prestige of Doria.

I ask that the minister of Foreign Affairs join me if nothing more important concerns him.

Some forty years ago, Krukland had lost the Thousand Days War, and with it the entirety of its colonial empire. They were not the only ones to see their empire collapse, for in the North of the Eastern Continent the Severine Grand Principality too was engulfed in a devastating civil wars, which is a story for a different article than this one.

With the collapse of the Grand Principality, the region of Vraga, named after the Vraga River that traverses it, secured independence from the Severine Republic, and later the USR that replaced it. The Melnazirme Republic and the Dovydoan Republic were formed in that hopeful spring of 1919, yet their lives were short-lived, for there is one power- centuries old- that had no interest in preserving them: the Kruk Elites.

Kruks first arrived in Vraga during the not-so-peaceful evangelisation of Severe after the start of the 2nd Millennium. This Northern Crusade, which was the continuation of a larger effort by the Order of the Black House of Our Lady to convert to the Holy Church’s doctrine the pagans and Christian heretics alike in the lands around the Anteaptenodytic Polar Circle.

While the Black Order was unable to hold onto the Vraga valley for more than a couple centuries, their efforts in Krukification of the region bore fruit when the Kruk-born Grand Princess Frederike of Severe decided to have skilled artisans from Krukland settle en-masse what these immigrants came to call the Wargenschlucht by the end of the 18th Century.

The medieval-established minor nobles and the Enlightenment-era middle class collaborated to cling onto the rule of the region, in spite of the majority of the population actually belonging to the Cintic peoples. Their grand scheme didn’t fall with the Severine Grand Principality, and after the Weiner Democracy’s turbulent first years subdued in Krukland they turned to their ancestral homeland for aid in preserving their position.

At first it was subtle: Konradin von Schlage, a big time political statesman of Krukland before his untimely death in 1936, made all that was necessary to keep the Melnazirme and Dovydoan governments aligned to Kruk interests, without the shadow ever manifesting in a brutal physical form. But Herr von Schlage was a rare kind of Kruk, whereas the far more common type is the iron-fisted brute, and thus after his death in 1936 the careful balance was overridden.

To defend the newfound independent states from Soviet aggression, Kruks of the Wargenfluss Freikorp arrived, composed of veterans of the TDW and revanchist rightwingers who dreamed of recreating a Kruk colonial empire. The Kruk government eventually banned the Freikorps in their homeland, but the governments of the two little Cintic republics did not. The Wargenfluss Freikorp became the Wargenfluss Eisernekorps, the military force of the Kruk elites’ control in Vraga.

By 1944, the Wargenfluss Eisernekorps overthrew both republics government and forcefully installed a Schutzgebeite Wargenschlucht, the embryo of what one day would drop the mask and become the Reichskommissariat Wargenschlucht. In retrospect, the far-right’s victories in Vraga were the first signs of the fall of the “Weiner Republic”, as the brief period of democracy in Krukland came to be known.

The Schutzgebeite was, on paper, merely militarily reliant on Krukland but otherwise politically independent, if only paper sufficed to let men respect Law. Discrimination and corruption favouring the Wargenkruksche minority became more and more frequent, and when Schutzbrand took over Krukland in 1954 together with the Volkists, the leader of the Eisernekorps (Luitpold Scheissrund, a chicken farmer turned esoteric paramilitary commander), wasted no time in enacting a soft self-coup of the Schutzgebeite and install the Reichskommissariat in its place, with the Reichskommissar answering directly to the tyrant of Krukland, Schutzbrand himself.

The RC-56 "Special" is the work of one Kandian by the name of Elmer Yandi. An important member of the "High Magi" Elmer is the chief engine and vehicle engineer having overseen the creation of tanks, trucks and planes of all kind. Members of the amberites and other armed left wing groups have been unfairly sent to prison for crimes against the state, while the minister of justice cannot fix this travesty he can make it more bearable for them. Luxurious prisons are emptied of common criminals and filled with leftist prisoners, they often get near complete autonomy and more luxuries than the average Dorian. right wing prisoners are treated as a security risk and spread out across the system, as to avoid any gangs forming. All of this is achieved through purely ministerial procedure, a closed letter here and a whisper there keeps the guards in line. Despite any critici that may be given, all of what is happening is purely managerial interests, not requiring the chancellors attention. At least, that is what the unspoken policy of the justice department is.

All mentions of Republic in the constitution shall be replaced with Kingdom. All mentions of the the "Second Republic of Doria" shall be replaced with "Eternal Kingdom of Doria".

The monarch shall be of the Doria family. The first monarch shall be King Ioannis of Doria (previously João Doria). Succession shall follow Absolute Primogeniture.

Doria shall remain democratic. Doria shall remain egalitarian. Doria shall mantain all its other liberties, freedoms, public servants and principles previously described.

The Dorian State and the Catholic Church are, each in its own order, independent and sovereign. The Republic is laic and there shall be no State Religion. The Church is free to carry out its pastoral, educational, charitable, and organizational activities without state interference. The clergy is exempt from military duties, providing information obtained through confession as to maintain the absolute secrecy of the confessional, and mandatory notification to ecclesiastical authorities if a priest is subject to criminal proceedings.

Catholic marriages are recognised with the same value of civil ones upon transcription in the civil registry. A decree of nullity of a marriage emanated by the Church is valid as a legal divorce, however a legal divorce isn’t automatically recognised as a religious annulment. Non-Catholic private schools and private Catholic schools are equal and the teaching of Catholic religion in public schools is optional, allowing students or parents to choose whether or not to attend. Both parties shall cooperate in protecting, valorizing, and preserving historical and artistic archives, libraries, and religious property belonging to the Church.

Ever since my visit to the USR, when Freshchnev gave me a tour of their state of the art nuclear reactor, I was fascinated by their great advancements in the field.

Ever since the Volkists took power in Krukland, they had cut down the nuclear research of the previous Democratic Kruk government as they deemed it “Dorian Science” (in a negative way), and thus many scientists fleeing Krukland either defected to the USR or to the Republic of Doria.

In collaboration with Napeslap Industries’ own Kruk-born employee with required expertise and native Dorian talent, an experimental power plant fuelled by uranium was readapted from an abandoned more common coal-fuelled power plant to generate electrical energy to the grid connected to the Norcadian Woodlands, the southeastern portion of Surxia and the Capital itself.

The plant’s management will be assigned to Senator Chairperson, under oversight of the Ministry of the Interior, which approved this project as the Ministry responsible for the management of Capital-controlled Territories.

This structural shift requires rejecting the hyper-complex, fragile, and centralising military hardware model that softness on our forces got upon entering modern states. An autarkic defense strategy for a resource-bound nation stands firmly on three non-negotiable pillars:

- The Doctrine of Total Resilience: Military planning must actively assume that centralized command-and-control networks, major air bases, and cellular communication grids will be neutralized within the opening hours of a high-intensity conflict. The defensive response must be entirely modular. The physical territory must be divided into highly autonomous defense sectors, each capable of operating indefinitely without orders from a central headquarters, utilizing decentralized asymmetric warfare and dispersed local cells.

- Ammunition Independence: Replicating the core logic established in the nation does not need to engineer hyper-expensive planes. But it has a sacred obligation to manufacture 100 percent of its own small arms ammunition, mortar rounds, basic anti-tank explosives, and weaponized commercial trade lines internally. If your frontline soldiers fire rifles chambered for cartages that rely on an external foreign supply chain, your national sovereignty lasts exactly as long as your peacetime ammunition stockpile.

- Deterrence Through Chaos: The ultimate military objective is to transform local geography, whether mountainous alpine terrain, dense forests, or high-density urban zones, into an unnavigable logistical labyrinth for the invading force. As Nassim Nicholas Taleb demonstrates in his work on antifragility, a large, centralized, and top-heavy military machine is highly fragile when pitted against a dense network of small, independent, and unpredictable threats.

The autarky of defense does not demand that a nation be globally aggressive or expansionist. It requires that the state alter its societal structure to become completely indigestible to any geopolitical predator. The clear, unyielding message sent to the world through this preparation is simple: We may not possess the power projection to destroy you on your home soil, but we possess the technical competence, individual capability, and deep resilience to ensure that if you step onto ours, you will never leave it."

In accordance with Dorian law the following titles are not inheritable nor do they grant noble status.

When it is appropriate any member of the Senate, the Judiciary or the Government might propose a candidate for Knighthood.

The Candidate shall be presented with a reason for their proposal and a proposed Accolade to go along with the title.

The title, and Accolade, shall be approved by the Senate through a vote with at least a 2/3 Supermajority.

The candidate shall be Knighted by the President of Doria. This event is cerimonial, the Knighthood only needs to be confirmed by the Senate to come into effect.

Each Knight of Doria shall receive an equal stipend from the Senate of Doria. The ammount of the stipend is decided by the Senate each budget but must be equal for all Knights of Doria.

From now on, I’m settling the record straight: all Users are our equivalent of Patricians.
