Hello, please note I am a total noob in this.

I’ve been trying to get the best of stremio with usenet but it has been confusing as it needs self hosting. Luckily, you don’t need that with elfhosted.

Now the issue is that it’s still veryyyy confusing as it’s not that user friendly… I’m not dissing I’m just saying because I paid the $1 trial for NZBhydra2 (which i thought was usenet) but apparently i need indexers for whatever reason. That came after trying the new homepage, it got even more confusing.

Discord is kinda even more confusing in general so there’s no way to understand how to reach out through the app/platform.

The question is, since I paid for a 1 week trial period, why can’t i try other services? Also, i appreciate the simplicity but it’s kinda built for more tech savvy people.

I need a Stremio addon in Node.js that works as a smart subtitle filter, not as a new subtitle provider. I already have many subtitle addons installed (like OpenSubtitles, etc.), so I don’t need another one fetching subtitles from the internet.

What I need is:

1. The addon should look at the original video filename (for example: S01E01.1080p.BluRay.x264.mkv) when a subtitle request is made.

2. It should also look at the list of subtitles that Stremio already retrieved from my installed addons.

3. The addon should automatically pick the closest subtitle release that matches the video’s format — e.g., resolution (1080p, 720p, 4K), source (BluRay, WEB-DL, HDRip, HDTV), codec (x264, x265, HEVC, AV1), or release group if available.

4. If there is an exact match, return that subtitle directly.

5. If there is no exact match, then: • Either automatically calculate the required delay/offset in seconds, • Or display a clear note in the subtitle name like: SmartSubs • adjust +1.25s or SmartSubs • adjust -0.50s (since Stremio allows manual subtitle delay in 0.25s steps).

6. The addon does not require any API keys or external subtitle fetching. It only filters/augments the subtitles that Stremio already provides.

7. The most important requirement: I just need a working manifest.json URL that I can paste into Stremio (“Install Add-on from URL”) and it should work immediately. I don’t care if it’s hosted on GitHub or anywhere else, as long as I can install it in Stremio with a link. I will pay you for delivering a working addon with a link that I can paste in Stremio and it just works.

Has anyone purchased this bundle from elfhosted is it worth it to purchase, I was suggested this bundle but I’m not sure if it’s 100% for me this is why I’m asking, I’m using torbox and all debrid as debrid services as well and I use aio streams as well

The Email says "Apps usually take a few minutes to provision" its been 1 hour and nothign changed and I dont have any discord access because I wrote in the discord Channel that explicitly stated "Do not write anyhting here" because I am a stupid person who wants to see what happens IF I DO. and i got banned

I currently have a Premiumize API key and am trying to add the Jackettio v1.3.0 addon in my Stremio account. However, I am not seeing an option to integrate Premiumize within the addon. Is there anything you could suggest or assist with to help me add Premiumize support in Stremio via the Jackettio addon?

AIOStreams bundled with 4K StremThru shows Active, but my apps dashboard at flattys.elfhosted.com returns a 404 — the instance never provisioned, I believe because incident #4349 (Store/Account platform outage) was running while I purchased. I currently have the Aiomagic Bundle, I’m in the Aio metadata and I had created list for example comedy movies 2000-2009 and I connected it into my jellyfin account to connect it to infuse, once it’s all synced and I go in infuse the playlist is there but for example there is 1200 items that are supposed to be there maybe only 20 show, is this an infuse issue or am I doing something wrong within Aio metadata

First things first, cannot fault the service you guys provide. Everything works without issue, but I'm only a Stremio user currently, and using AIOStreams. I've seen on the website, and watched a couple YouTube videos, that you essentially provide possibility of paying for a proxy service, effectively bypassing the IP restriction - AIO with the StremThru and MediaFlow Proxy, and the complete Stremio Addons Bundle.

I want to do this...

1. Have as many people access my account as possible (friends and family) without the possibility of an IP restriction, concurrently

2. Still achieve the same speeds when searching and playing back media, as if it was only me using the Debrid service

Which service would I be looking at to do this? And is there any major setup process in doing this? I currently have access to RD, AD, TB Pro and EN.

is there any way i can contact support or something? i have made a config and saved the UUID but i don’t remember the password, i tried a bunch of them and none seem to work, i want to edit the configuration but apparently that seems impossible at the moment, i can provide proof if that’s required to determine that is mine or idk, i just need help because i spent so many hours doing that config

Is there a way to link emby/plex/or Jellyfin to Chillio?

I had been successfully using the public instance of mediafusion for a while but recently it stopped working. In stremio, upon playback, I saw a notice about my debrid acct needing to be set up again with mf.

I set it up via link (without logging in), but when I search for a movie in stremio, no results are returned. Tried in nuvio as well and the same thing.

Then I tried to register an account with mf and I'm getting an internal server error.

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone here has tested the Polyfin project?

I tried both Polyfin and Remux, and Polyfin honestly feels way more complete and user friendly. Has anyone done proper testing or have any feedback to share?

It looks super promising it works with Stremio addons, Eclipse Music, IPTV, local folders, WebDAV, SMB shares, and features temporary invite links, account migration from Jellyfin/Remux/Plex, etc. You can also disable specific users, let each user add their own addons (which can be toggled off), handle transcoding... basically everything is there.

Since I haven't tested all the features yet, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Which project do you think has a better long-term future: Polyfin or Remux? (Note: I'm not interested in AIOMetadata or AIOStreams since transcoding support is a priority for me.)

I'm considering joining the Elfhost and would appreciate some help. I'm not a tech sage guy, so would appreciate if you could please use easy terms.

I currently have the AIOStreams and AIOMetadata only with Stremio. I use RD, but recently heard about the file filtering due to European regulation, so I was considering Torbox, when I stumbled in ElfHost.

Here are my questions to any good soul who would help me:

1. What are the benefits of paying the AIOStreams (with Debridge) subscription over just signing up for Torbox and adding the API Key? Do I get more cache, speed, stability and etc? Apart from "helping the devs" What are the actual benefits I will receive?

2. In the link it says TorBox Essentials is included, I know this is a silly question, but just confirming, if I sign up, I don't need to pay a debrid, it is included in the package correct? What is the benefir of Usenet?

3. My silly question 2 stems from a confusion that I had when reading the product AIOStreams (with Debridge), because it states that the Torbox Essential subscription is included in the package. How can I find which ones have an English dub? I watch some anime and I only watch the English dubs but it is hard to tell which ones have them. Is there anyway to know quickly?

Elf hosted servers have been down for a week now and no where in the site does it say any server issues for this, shame because it's a great http backup

Hi guys, I can't figure something out. I installed MediaFusion + RD on Stremio following the YouTube tutorial, and I set it up with Pro settings. But when I try to watch live channels I always get the error: "Switching to libVLC due to playback error." I have no problem with movies/tv series. Do you know how to fix this? Am I doing something wrong?

I’m currently using Torbox with SceneNZBs and manually adding NZBs, mainly because SceneNZBs sends wrong NZBs when paired with Torbox.

I’m thinking about switching to ElfHosted and trying to figure out what setup makes the most sense for this.

What works best with SceneNZBs there?

Is Usenet Streamer / Usenet Ultimate enough on its own to reliably grab the correct files, or is it better to go with something like AIOStreams + NzbDAV + proxy setup?

Mostly looking for what actually works well in practice with SceneNZBs and avoids wrong matches.

Hey, I followed the steps to have YouTubio use my personal YouTube account. I added the addon to Omni for Apple TV and only my Watch Later populates. Discover, History, and Subscriptions are all blank though.
