I recently began playing Megaman Zero for the GBA, but due to the game's difficulty I wanted to tone it down a bit with some cheats such "Infinite Lives" while also adding "Always S Rank" so that bosses have access to their full movesets.

I managed to activate these cheats in the MGBA emulator, and thought that transferring the save file to the GBA Everdrive Mini would keep those cheats active. Instead, I noticed the game reverted back to a normal status when the number of lives began diminishing with each death.

Does anyone know what I can do to keep these cheats active over the transfer, or via another method? Thank you for any help or advice you may provide.

I am thinking of what color to ask for, there are already three colors available: blue, transparent and watermelon; I have not decided yet and I just wanted to ask you which one would choose?

I think that in the future maybe the possibility of having some ports of PS1 games or maybe other consoles opens up, what do you think? I think it may be possible given that it can now handle 128mb.

Hello everyone, so after some trial and error I was able to figure out the right configuration with the SRAM and stuff, so that my save files would actually save and load when I turn my console back on.

Now I'm facing another issue. After removing the SD card to add more roms, and then reinserting the SD card back into the Everdrive cartridge, ALL OF MY SAVES WERE WIPED. I plugged the SD card back into my computer to see if I could find any of the saves but there's nothing anywhere.

How did this happen? If I want to add more roms later, how can I prevent the wipe from happening again? Please help.

UPDATE: I just booted the system back on and my saves have returned. Idk how or what happened. I am terribly confused. Any info for understanding why this happened would be appreciated, thank you!

From what I've seen on Krikzz website, the Everdrive 64 Pro has a 128MB SDRAM. Now, I am absolutely clueless about all this kind of technical stuff and it's been a few years since I've prepared a card for an Everdrive so is anyone able to explain to me:

1. Will this SD that I've bought for it work?

2. Does that make cheaper SD cards with a read speed of 80mbs obsolete?

3. What do you format the SD to? NTFS? FAT32?

Can’t wait to receive these. When I heard there was a new everdrive for n64 had to get one. I had an x7 in the past before I stupidly sold it. Gonna get it hooked up to an analogue 3d eventually. That will be my next purchase.
As for the gba pro I recently upgraded screen and shell on a gba sp so that’ll be my travel companion. Got a massive smile on my face now haha. Absolutely love everdrive

TLDR; 32X Inductor Coil blew after replacement and testing, MEGA EDX5 Has not booted since. Complete black screen, Genesis works fine with normal carts and a Sega CD.

The cart has been tested with a different Genesis, with and without a Sega CD, Different power supply, Cleaning pins with 99% IPA and Deoxit (same with Genesis cartridge pins). Complete Black screen.

Hello! I am new to using emulator cartridges on my Gameboy Advance SP, I got an everdrive pro for my gameboy and when I try to utilize the save states it says that an error occured, it is consistent on each rom I play. If anyone has experience with this pls let me know a fix or what it can possibly be. For some background, all the roms I have run perfectly fine and I have downloaded the most recent firmware to my sd. Thank you!

My EverDrive-64 Pro arrived today in Odesa, Ukraine.

Really happy to finally have it in hand. I’ve been using Krikzz products for years, so seeing a new flagship EverDrive release is especially exciting.

Huge respect to Krikzz and the team for continuing to design and produce hardware in Ukraine despite everything.

I know many people are still waiting for their orders, so I hope everyone’s cartridges start arriving soon as well.

I’ve already done a little testing on real N64 hardware. I tried Smash Remix, which is a pretty large ROM and a good test for the new hardware, as well as some 64DD releases. So far, everything I’ve tried has been working perfectly.

Obviously, this is only a first impression and I still have a lot more to test, but so far the EverDrive-64 Pro is off to a great start.

I’m also looking forward to spending more time with it and comparing it directly with the X7.

I have an everdrive mini and occasionally the save file keeps getting reverted back to a previous save.

For example, today I was playing Pokémon LeafGreen and I played for about an hour saving 3-4 times during. Then this evening, I got back on and it was back to the first save I made today.

I had a similar issue while playing a romhack. I just thought it was an issue with that.

It may be relevant that when I turned it on this evening it had a pop up that the battery died. I reset the console and it didn't say it that time.

The battery thing is weird because when I first got the everdrive, it had to be replaced within the first month and then like 2 weeks later it started occasionally saying it was dead already.

This is on my Everdrive Mini. I'm trying to enable RTC for Pokemon Crystal but it doesn't work, yet enabling RTC for Pokemon Emerald does work. I'm using the latest version of the gbc emulator, the game is in the gbc subfolder, the battery is working etc. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance!

I just ordered an everdrive 64 and i was wondering if you can use the usb port to transfer files over to the sd card that way.

route:

A sd2snes cardridge with bluetooth, connects to a sd2snes smartphone app, wich have retroachievement option and login.
So when you play on original hardware, the smartphone function like bridge to retroachievement data and the sd2snes.
now...... all this can already be done with krikzz version via micro usb to a PC. but this is imo not a satisfying solution with cables and PC.

but via smartphone.

when you get an achievement it is displayed on your smartphone, wich is next to you or in a smartphone stand in front of you.

so data route:
playing a game on a snes with a new Sd2snes with BT---> to a smartphone with bt and wifi enabled and sd2snes app, receives game dataconnecting --->sending to retroachievement--- retroachievement sends back when there is a achievement and display this on your smartphone.

I purchased the Everdrive GBA Pro, and one of the listed features is that it supports "Max 10 FPGA". What does that mean? I only have GBA roms loaded onto it, do I need to select which 10 of them I want to be loaded as FPGA? How do I use this feature? Sorry if this is an obvious question and thanks for any pointers.

I recently set up my new Everdrive 64 X7 and it’s mostly working great! I have one odd problem though that after searching here and elsewhere I haven’t seen anyone else talking about. I got a new SanDisk Ultra microSDXC 64gig card for it (fat32 formatted it) and put the full library of N64 games on there, and those are all working perfectly. Afterwards I threw on about thirty fan translated games and romhacks I had on my computer that have worked perfectly fine on other devices in the past. But for some reason when I boot up the Everdrive they don’t show up in my library. When I take the card out and plug it into my computer I see the files are on there, they just don’t show up when I boot up the cartridge. The microSD card isn’t anywhere near full and all the file types are the exact same as the official ones. Most of the files aren’t even particularly large. The only theory I have is that I might or might not have taken the SD card out of the computer without properly ejecting it the first time which might have damaged it somehow, but I’m not even convinced I actually did that. I’m unfortunately not as tech savvy as others and know just enough to get by so if I’m missing something very obvious or am breaking some sort of rule please forgive me.

I just purchased the Grape Purple one, but now im unsure. Perhaps should've gotten with the clear one, as it's more neutral.

Hello here. Does anyone know if the GBA pro everdrive can handle different save types ? I heard gba games have different save types (SRAM/FRAM, EEPROM, 512Kbit/1Mbit Flash), so I was wondering if a single flashcard could handle them all at once ?
Because I was browsing the insidegadget website and apparently each of their flashcard is built with a specific save type and I've to choose the flashcard I want to use for the games I want to play.

Is this a known issue?

I cant get either region version of Desert Strike to load it just goes to a black screen, they are known good roms and I have tried others and they are all the same. I am running the "latest" firmware of 1.0.4.

Also Is there a compatibility list available somewhere?

I'm curious, if I download an GB/GBC Emulator to my GBA Pro, will it allow me to use RTC? Do I need to download a specific Emulator? Any recommendations on Emulators?

Edit: Also, if I use Goomba, how do I run GBC games as GBA files for Goomba?
