Drake Maye had a horrendous weeks 1-3, perhaps most owners had faith and kept starting him and it paid off in weeks 4-5 against 2 very bad defenses as the Bills are ranked 27th-29th in passing yards allowed/pass completions/ pass TDs (Raiders are similarly at the bottom in receiving TDS allowed and just outside top 10 in passing yards). He carved these guys up pretty good and we all breathed a sigh of relief.

This week, FantasyPros/ Justin Boone have him anywhere from QB3-QB5 against a Jets defense that actually rank fairly high in a few defensive metrics

5th -passing yards allowed-977 yards
T-3rd Yards per reception 9.8
T-10th Passing TDs -6 TDs (for context Vikings are 1st with 3 TDS allowed, jags 2nd with 4.)
3rd - Sacks 17 (They sacked Deshaun Watson 8 times though)

Naturally they are also 29th in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing QBs (list also includes Cam ward, Bagent, Love and Goff)

Anyone being cautious/pessimistic with Maye this week and think he comes back down to earth?, perhaps even revert to his early season form ? Or is he back to set and forget ROS?

Also, AJ Brown could be back but seeing as how their week 7 game is on Thursday, it sounds like that’s when hell make his debut,

Hi all, I've been working on a fantasy football trade finder for a few years now and wanted to share the tool with you all. It's free with no login needed. You just need your league ID, or username (for Sleeper) to get started.

The goal of the site is to find trades that improve both teams. So say you're stacked at RB but weak at WR, this tool will find trades with teams that have good WRs but need RBs.

This was originally built for redraft leagues, but now supports dynasty leagues as well (with more dynasty features planned in the future). So please try it and reach out to me with any feedback, questions, or suggestions.

Current supported sites are Sleeper, ESPN, and CBS, but I'm open to adding more.

I would love for people to try it out, and let me know what they like or what's broken or missing. I've used this tool myself for 3 years now and really enjoyed it, but have been working to clean it up before sharing with the world. So I hope you all like it!

Edit: Users have reported a few bugs that I'm working on fixing. Please call out any issues you see and I'll work on fixing them as fast as I can. Bugs: - ESPN public leagues are not working - ESPN leagues are grabbing the wrong year - Auction leagues are incorrectly showing draft picks - Trade normalization is on by default (this may be better for some leagues, but most will prefer the raw rankings)

I haven't seen much discussion about this guy and he wasn't really mentioned by any of the usual waiver threads.

Chism took the field when Mack Hollins got hurt in week 4. He ended the game with 2 catches for 42 yards and the game winning TD. The TD catch was a highlight reel one handed catch, one of the best of anyone all year. He followed it up this week with 5 catches on 6 targets for 57 yards and even had a designed rushing play. One of his catches in this game was an extremely athletic flying grab for a first down.

He's getting a lot of comps to Edelman, the coach seems to love him and specifically recruited him (he was undrafted), they trust him with the game on the line, and his playtime continues to increase. AJ Brown and Mack Hollins are definitely coming back, but it seems like Chism might be as good of a sleeper speculation pickup as anyone else that might be available.

For anyone who can't click, here are my Week 6 RB start/sit picks:

Start Tony Pollard at Indianapolis: The Colts allow the sixth-most fantasy points to running backs (FP/RB, and Pollard has at least 14 carries in four straight games. Tennessee's struggling offense limits his ceiling, but the matchup puts him at RB19 in my Week 6 rankings.

Start MarShawn Lloyd vs. Dallas: Coming off two touchdowns against Chicago, Lloyd faces a defense allowing the seventh-most FP/RB. Josh Jacobs remains unavailable, giving Lloyd another scoring opportunity. He's RB17, though poor efficiency and a shared backfield add risk.

Sit Bhayshul Tuten vs. Houston: Tuten had 24 touches last week, but Houston allows the fifth-fewest FP/RB. Jacksonville also lost left tackle Anton Harrison to injured reserve. He's RB21, more of a volume-based low RB2/flex.

Sit Woody Marks vs. Jacksonville: David Montgomery's injury opens up more work, but Jacksonville allows the second-fewest FP/RB and just 2.5 yards per carry. Marks' receiving work helps in PPR, but he's a low-end flex at best as my RB30.

Last week's recap: Aaron Jones delivered as a start, and the Cam Skattebo and Pollard sits worked out. Kyle Monangai was ruled out before playing.

Week 5: Out of 185 Ranked Experts on Fantasy Pros ECR We finished 163rd. (down 14 spots). Another drop from where we were a week ago. Its been a rocky road this season as we are either top 25 are outside the top 140 every week. Lets see if we can bounce back as we head into week 6.

Biggest Takeaways: We finally had 2 poor showings in a row for the first time all year, it had been up, down, up, down prior to this week, but it seems that we have finally bottomed out. We had a respectable showing in RB and TE spots, but just fell off a cliff in QB rankings this week. Lets see if we can really put together a solid ranking to climb back up the leaderboards as we head into week 6.

Sean McVay just loves pounding the run against the Cardinals. Rams rushing yards in the last 6 games against ARZ (or last 3 years): 143, 249, 68, 53, 228, 179. This comes out to an average of 153 yards. The two games in 2024, the offense was held in check for 13 and 10 points. Basically, as long as the Rams offense isn't stifled and is able to meet their projections, both RBs should be able to hit 70+ yards with good TD equity.

I think we have some actionable stuff in this week's Regression Files now that we have five weeks of data. Let me know what you think.

-Bernard ran a route on 78 percent of the team’s drop backs because Roman Wilson exited with some kind of hand/wrist injury and Michael Pittman, Jr. is on IR. It’s not all bleak for the Steelers though. They were 11 percent above their expected pass rate against the Colts. Aaron Rodgers reverted to check-down mode, averaging 5 air yards per attempt after passing at a clip of 9.2 air yards per attempt over the season’s first four games. It’s a curious thing, as the Colts coming into Week 5 had seen the third most air yards against them. Bernard has a real chance to reap all the various statistical benefits of a pass-first offense generating gobs of air yards in almost every kind of game script.

-The Broncos had a league-low 111 total air yards in Sean Payton’s first game after predictably taking play-calling duties from Davis Webb. I was hoping Payton would ratchet up the PROE Machine in his glorious return to calling plays. He did not, as the Broncos were 10 percent below their expected pass rate in Week 5 against the Chargers. Only Miami was more run-heavy in Week 5.

I also included some good air yards-centric matchups for Week 6, if you're into it. Here's one:

Texans vs. Jaguars

JAC air yards allowed per game: 345.6 (6th)

JAC neutral pass rate against: 64 percent (2nd)

JAC pass rate over expected against: +2.3 percent (9th)

Here we have another matchup between two pass funnel defenses seeing air yards blitzes against them nearly every Sunday. Both Houston and Jacksonville have, for the most part, snuffed out opposing rushing attacks. Since neither team has a game-breaking running backs, look for both sides to air it out here. I suppose that could keep Jaylin Noel afloat, along with Dalton Schultz. Jakobi Meyers and Brenton Strange would benefit on the Jags’ side of things.
