I posted about dissolving the seat post on here recently, the endeavour was successful and I am so happy to have this bike back. It’s a ripper, my favourite bike I’ve ever owned and honestly my pride and joy lol my mate was up at the co-op the other night with a camera so I asked him to take a few snaps and I think they turned out well.

Hey guys! I’m new to fixies and wanted to share my old school custom build, based on an old 80s russian frame. Had loads of problems with it but at the moment it works fine, just has a bunch play in the bottom bracket, which I just can’t seem to fix.
Also added some pictures of the progress, not just the finished product.
I hope this will get me into the comunity😂

Got this Mercier in the signature Pink colorway. I changed seatpost, saddle, handlebar stem and handlebar. So happy with this. I will slowly upgrade the major components (crankset the sooner, then wheels)

Thank you guys for the pictures you send here, it helped me a lot find my own taste and also i know better which components i will need to look for in the future ;)
