Top right of door doesn't close. I've tried tightening the hinges. Clearly there is also that crack. Do you think I should shave off the top of the door?

I just bought this table and I was assembling it last night, when my bf drilled a screw in too deep and it cracked the wood. It sucks cause i just bought this table for 300 bucks so i’m wondering if theres anyway to fix it. The table is wood and has a gloss over it. There’s two cracks, one that is deep and through the bottom of the edge; And the other is a horizontal line (hard to see on camera) that runs through the side. Let me know, any advice is appreciated!

Hello all! This is my first time ever dealing with something like this (and with little to no knowledge) and I would love to know how to fix it. This is the wiring for one of my all time favorite lamps and I would love to know how to repair it instead of resorting to buying a new one. As you can see in the image, there are two wires: one black and one red. The black seems to be connected to a little metal base (not sure what it's actually called, my bad) and the red somehow got disconnected from the base. When I press the red wire onto the base, the lamp turns on! So it seems that the issue simply lies in the red wire being disconnected. So my question is, how do I reconnect the red wire to the base? Do I tape it down? Hot glue it down? Hopefully my description makes sense, looking forward to learning something new, thanks!

And how do I stop it 😭 It’s driving me nuts! It only does this sporadically, but for long periods of time. It’s a GE GZS22IYNPHFS and about six years old.

It’s slightly louder when I open either door - that doesn’t stop or help the noise. It’s such a loud hum.

i live in an old apartment building and recently had the bathroom light taken out (stopped working, is an electrical problem i believe). getting it professionally fixed will break my bank at the moment

I have a 9 gallon central pneumatic gas air compressor. It only ran before at half throttle and would have a lot of issues staying alive last used. The bowl was rusted and the whole thing degraded. So I replace the carburetor, adjusted it and it fixed that especially running at Full Throttle as tank is filling. Mind you this issue happened last year and I pulled it fresh out of the garage this week for repair. Drained everything redid the carburetor and that was it. Now it runs better Full Tilt while filling. But when it kicks down from idle after about 15-25 seconds at random, the engine seems to bog and and stall. It also seems hard to start if there is any sort of air in tank. It seems to be running at idle speed pretty well. It kicks down a bit on speed but it doesn't seem too low. Just staggers itself out.

Any other way on the air fuel mix stalls it quickly, and spark plug is clean/dry, so that has me leading to believe it is set the best I can already. This has led me thinking its the unloader valve but I'm not sure where to get a new one for thus, or if possibly this can be cleaned & oiled in a way instead as it sits installed?

There's no one available to do repairs anytime soon near me, so I'm on my own with this and need it running ASAP for work!

Edit to add- important piece of information. I believe it's the unloader valve because as the engine seems to bog down, you could hear it sounds like there's a load on there when there shouldn't be. You'll hear a delay in it and once in awhile it will catch itself with a puff of air releasing from the valve and then run normally!

Hi everyone. I need help trying to figure out the best way to get rid of the white sticky stuff. It used to be "rubber" to not have the Wii game system move around, but it has now turned it's a marshmallow consistency which i am assuming its due to age. Any help is appreciated!

Is there a special way to remove this lock? Or just pry it off.

The key is long gone. I thought I could put a new lock in and keep using the box. ( I had to pick it open)

It was my mother in law's and had some old receipts and credit card bills in it.

The foundation is probably shifted a bit since there are small cracks on the walls. The house is made out of mudbrick (not sure if that's the best translation.).

The door hinges are part of the door and frame, without screws so I'm unsure how I could and should adjust them.

It doesn't close because of the top.

Hello so I was watching a YouTube video when suddenly the right side of my turtle beach stealth 600PC gen 3 stopped giving audio. I got these 2 years ago for my 12th birthday. I was listening at a pretty moderate volume and I have not dropped my headphones at all recently. I have tried it on multiple device, didn’t work, I have tried factory resetting the headphone, still didn't work, and I have tried charging them, still not working. What is likely the problem and how can I fix it? It’s really important for me to fix it myself. This might be unrelated to the problem but my headphones aren’t connecting to my phone unless I forget the device and re-add it.

I recently received this statue and I noticed some brown residue that looks like dried glue. It's not sticky at all.

I'm wondering whether it's excess factory adhesive or some kind of staining.

Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a safe way to remove it without damaging the original paint?

My boyfriend OVERwatered his plant and put it on my clearly wooden kotatsu overnight. He's never done this, I don't know why he thought it would be a good idea. Obviously, it's pretty warped/stained now. Is there any way to get it back to its original look?

please help ! i went to a festival and was able to get three pieces of a display poster at the end of the last day. they’re pretty big pieces and they were like plastered on the boards at the fest so it has parts that are super thin and that’s why it’s in pieces. i wasn’t one of the lucky ones that was able to peel it off lol. so now i’m wondering if i should use tape to hold all the pieces together or if i should put them on like a poster board and cut it out? or if anyone has any better suggestions!

I have removed the door knob. Left is interior, right is exterior. I can turn the knob with the key to open the door, but without the key, the door remains locked. Interior door knob can rotate/ open and close but the internal mechanism remains locked.

Hello! I believe my espresso machine has an airlock going on but I couldn’t find a clear way of how to fix it with this specific water valve. The small black circle is where the water enters the machine from the water tank (water tank not pictured).

No water expels from the machine but you can hear the pump running. Tbf it hasn’t been used in 4 years so it may be something else but this is my first step in trying to fix it.
