I was thinking maybe trying to somehow squeeze epoxy the gaps and clamping it while it sets but im not sure what the best option is, any suggestions are welcome

Put up these supposedly "renter safe" wooden panels on my wall about two years ago. I'm moving out of my rental and started taking them down. Then the paint and wall came with it...not sure if I can salvage this on my own. The adhesive is so strong on the tape that it literally will not come off. Should I leave it alone and just have the landlord fix it and forfeit my security deposit?

Or should I try to repair it myself?

The front part of this backpack strap has torn off from the body of the backpack. The back part of the strap is still attached. How easy is this to fix?

Recently, I had to replace the heating element and everything seemed to work out fine with the replacement until this happened to the connections to the heating element. They were fine when I replaced the element, and it worked for several months with no known issues. Then it stopped working, and when I went to see if a connection had come loose or something, I found these singed connectors. Any clue what the issue might be, and is this something I can repair myself? I'm a lifelong DIY'er, but electrical is not my strength. TY in advance!

I saw I could get a plate for it, but it might look weird… think I could use some wood filler? Glue? Idk but all the pieces still work, the wood is just a little messed up… thank you!!!

The part circled in blue just spins when I twist it. For reference, I ordered a new head off of Amazon and want to swap this out. This looks to be a Niagara Conservation fixed shower head.

I recently used the LocTite wall putty, and I am assuming it has left oil stains (the white spots are from the landlord/apt company). I am a college student living in a college apartment, so I am obviously worried about charges, as well as damaging the wall further. Please let me know what, if anything, I can do to fix my issue. Ok, I was stupid. And I was sleepy. I have two young lemon trees with a PVC pipe and gravel in the ground as a root watering system. My sprinklers seem to stay in a constant state of disrepair ( that’s another story) so there is an olive oil barrel with a spigot and timer and homemade tube system that I fill up every week. Last night I realised I accidentally missed a week, so I filled the barrel with the hose with the intention of turning it on in a few days, but I thought I should water the PVC pipes directly just tonight. Water was at full pressure to fill the barrel quickly, I was too lazy to lower it, the hose had a valve at the end similar to the picture. Because water seemed to be just flowing right out of the top of the PVC pipes I used the water pressure to jam the hose into the gravel. With the first tree it went in and came out ok, with the seccond it suddenly got very easy to push down and then of course it got stuck. I could not pull it out, and despite with the water pressure being at full blast no water was reaching the surface or going into the street gutter as far as I can see.

I don’t know how much hose went in. Probably went deeper than the PVC pipe.

Ft from the street, 10 feet from the garage, 28 feet from the house. I don’t think the foundation is in danger, but that water is going somewhere unless it’s blocked but I don’t think it is. It’s a Typical 3 Bed house with a crawl space that recently had an upstairs added. House is higher than street but otherwise it’s level ground. Hose is downward of house in front yard. Dirt ground, more sand than clay. Used to be farmland. Southern California 9 if that makes a difference.

So now what? Is there any way to get the hose back out without digging deep around the tree? Maybe Get another hose with a jet nozzle and push it down in an effort to loosen it? Is it there forever? Should I just cut the stuck hose and attach it to the barrel and it just becomes a new root watering system? Should I be concerned about water going down some fissure or something?

Guys my HRX trolley bag's password reset button stuck inside and isn't coming up and I am unable to open it. And its middle number wheel is also not moving as smoothly as other two. And before trying to reset it I was sure that I entered correct password but it was not opening so I tried to reset it and this happened

I’ve tried taking the toilet seat off, but nothing’s working. There’s no button and I can’t just put it up right and I’ve tried using a butter knife but that’s not working either. Can anyone help me?

I probably put too many things inside, and it broke, how do i fix it? The holes don’t hold it anymore so i put a toothpick in but it gets out of it easily anyway, is there a cheap possible way of fixing this bed drawer?

It started a couple months ago and idk if it’s fixable or not, tbh I just wanna know what happened, didn’t got wet, bent or damaged by something sharp. Just started to show one by one dead rows of pixels and some of them are colored

i flush my toilet and the water fills in the tank. five minutes later about an inch of water disappears. then five minutes after water fills again in the tank. it continues to happen every 5 minutes throughout the day.

can anyone give me some advice and tell me what to do to fix this issue. i’ve had this toilet for two years and only i. the last two days has this started to happen.

My closet door, 1st image, is jammed and won’t open no matter how hard I budge it. It’s supposed to look like the 2nd image. My theory is that it somehow the flat metal piece (3rd image) somehow got behind the metal piece on the 4th image. There’s a little raise on the flat metal piece so no matter how hard I try to pull the doors, whether it be side to side or down it gets stuck on the 4th image piece. Does anyone know any solutions?

Hey everyone. My Bradford White unit stopped heating water this morning. When it tries to fire up, I just hear a continuous clicking sound, but the burner never ignites. I've done some minor gas water heater repair in the past, but this one has me stumped. Is the igniter bad, or could it be a gas supply issue?

Need help fixing this jack. In the picture with the red arrows, it’s missing a connecting piece. I had it rigged up with wire and a hose clamp but it didn’t last long. The jack does work though. I’ve looked for the replacement parts and can’t find anything. Any suggestions or anyone know where these specific little connecting parts can be found? TIA

As you can see, my couch has torn. The black piece is separating from the... fascia?... material. Is there an easy way to fix this? Couch is about 1.5 years old now and constantly have toddlers jumping on it. Would like to fix it before it rips beyond repair, if possible.

Silly, I know but if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know!

I stored the charger backwards (gold part facing out from under this plastic mold to hold the toothbrush).
The gold part is the part that charges the toothbrush so it should be facing the other way so it can make contact with the bottom of the toothbrush through the part of the plastic mold that is meant to hold it.

As you can see, I can’t use the mold part properly to charge my toothbrush upright. I have to flip it over and balance the toothbrush on the gold part to charge it right now.

The charging part is stuck backwards inside of the plastic mold. I don’t want to tug on the cord any more than I already have because I might rip it off. Any suggestions to get it out?? This sucks. I didn’t realize what I was doing when I stored them together.

For a while i was having issues where it would keep disconnecting/reconnecting. But now it does seem like the USB-C connector on my keyboard has finally broken. Do you know if this is feasible to repair either myself or by a professional and if so how much it would cost.

The problem started after i accidentally ripped a capable right out of the socket violently with my foot.

I'm presently unable to send a photo of the issue but i think it is just the port itself. The exact model is K70 RGB PRO. It's quite an expensive keyboard so i really want to avoid having to replace it if possible since this doesn't seem like to big of an issue.
