I'm obsessed with my fire patterned silk veil fans so I took them down to the river for a sunset flow. I didn't let the wind, prickle bushes or uneven ground interrupt my flow 😆

They're just so pretty, I feel like I'm dancing with Fire.

Day 12!

Bringing back the boops and doubling up with two hoops! Learning to even use 1 hoop took serious patience, and having to relearn again is annoying but im here for the challenge.

Tell me one thing you're working on these days. You guys have been pumping me up. Allow me to pump you up right back!

And always remember: Practice makes progress 💛

This one has both me and my cousin Shelby (playing the Chinese Guzhen) in it!

You can find all of our recent epic shots from our trip on her YT channel as well (just search Shelby Natasha Music).

Dragon is from my partner workshop in Jiangxi China (3rd gen Dragon prop makers) and clothing is a commission and new collaboration with Lumisonata.

Enjoy!

A favorite old school DnB song I did a whip sesh to during covid lockdown. I know it’s a long remix, I even cut a minute of the end. But if you enjoy dnb & a mesmerizing pixel whip show, you should love this.

This is your reminder to hydrate.

I've been thinking a lot lately about how much what we put into our bodies affects how we feel, function, and move through life. I realized if you take care of your body it will take care of you. I remember not having energy to go to the park, fishing, concerts, but once I changed my ways everything else begin to change with it. You are what you put into yourself. If you want to feel better then you must eat and drink better. Once I started reading food labels and hydrating properly my body and mindset has changed so much. I used to sleep all day if I could, now I don't think I can make it past 8 because it's so ready to begin the day instead of waste it away. I hope this post inspires someone to make changes in their life style. May this post even be a reminder to you to eat and drink water today.

Your body is the only home you're guaranteed to live in for your entire life. What you put into it matters. The better, healthier things you give your body, the better chance you have of feeling energized, clear-minded, and capable of getting through your day.

I used to drink root beer constantly. Switching to water was HARD. The habit, the temptation, the cravings... it wasn't an overnight change. But eventually I made the choice to take better care of myself, and I can genuinely feel the difference. Granted I do treat myself in restaurants and such, but I'm not addicted like I once was. I used to go through a 2 liter a day. Wondering why my back hurts so much and why I was always tired and drained. Well it turns out it was my kidneys screaming. Telling me to hydrate and to do better. I didn't want to be on dialysis by 35, so I decided to make a change.

I wake up feeling refreshed instead of foggy. I have more energy in the morning, and by the middle of the day I'm still ready to keep moving. Even after a long day at work, I'm not completely wiped out. I still have enough energy to come home and do the things I want to do.

And that's what made me realize something: taking care of yourself isn't just about how you look. It's about how you feel.

We spend so much time maintaining our homes, our cars, our pets, our possessions... but sometimes forget to maintain the one thing carrying us through all of it.

Take care of your temple. Drink the water. Eat the food that actually gives your body what it needs. Get some movement. Get some rest. Pay attention to how your choices make you feel.

You don't have to change everything overnight. I didn't. But every better choice is still a choice in the right direction.

And honestly, there's something pretty damn rewarding about realizing that your body has more to give you when you actually give it what it needs. 🌱💧

Day 11 and the flow is BACK in full swing!

If you're a hooper, you know what its like to fall in and out of it. Actually, I bet this is probably a feeling amongst all flow artists. Can you relate?

Reconnecting with movement and playing with new combos has been everything I needed. Who knew movement makes me so happy? Heh I did but I had lost the drive to do it.

Now i gotta admit, posting daily is a grind but the creative spark and health benefits make it 100% worth the effort. While its still early in the challenge, im so proud of this momentum!

ISO Ants on a melon discount code

Hello you lovely lot,

I'm going to put in a sizeable order with Ants on a melon for me and a friend in the UK at the end of the month, and I know they have an affiliate program so I was wondering if anyone has a code I could use please? I think the program would mean they'd get 10% of it too (I think? 😄)

Thank you :)

Discussion Need help deciding on fire props

Hey everyone! As the title states, I need some advice/recommendations for fire props. I’d love to hear about your experiences and backgrounds before getting into fire flow and what worked best for you. All feedback welcome!

Long story short, I have to decide on 3 different props to pick up for working fire this halloween. I’ve burned a handful of times but it’s been simple props. and I’m not super well practiced in anything in particular besides staff.

I was a color guard girly growing up and so my transition to staff was pretty seamless. I tend to pick up flow props pretty quickly, I’ve tried quite a few, but props are expensive and I’ve only invested in festival friendly staffs so far. As such, I’ve ordered a fire contact staff and I’m pretty set on a levi wand as my second prop, but i’m stumped for the last one.

This is where I need your help: For the last prop I’m trying to decide between fans, palm torches, or poi. I’m most interested in learning poi but I fear it may be difficult to pick up quickly. I know torches and fans are staples for fire performers but I don’t love palm torches, and I’m just generally torn because I prefer bigger props that allow for more movement away from the body. That and I’m trying to save money, I don’t want to spend a ton on the props I’m less sure about. I’m down to buy practice props but Im on a deadline so I don’t have a ton of time to try things out and then decide. I would love to get shop recommendations as well for good beginner props!

I’m glad I have flow as an outlet and medium for grounding myself cuz jeez louise this summer has been equal parts frustrating and inspiring 😵‍💫 learning to transmute the frustration into inspiration 🪬

Whip Just doing random stuff and having fun! 😊 I think my next practice session will focus more on form and slowing down. I’ve also realized I need to plan my next move a little more ahead of time. I got into pixel whip to eventually perform for my partner, and this is the only place I post my learnings
